New Review/Schauspiel Bonn/Jubiläumsensemble u.a. Review

Wanted to drink cocktails here. After the overwhelmed waitress was still not at our table after 20 minutes, we left.

This review is for the beach bar only:
We ate there based on a recommendation from a Bonn food block and were very disappointed. The waitress made us wait forever, then we were surprised that we had already chosen to drink AND eat (menu very clear and also very expensive).
Food was okay, but nothing special. There was definitely a lack of spices. For me (pasta with chanterelle "sauce") it was "only" chanterelles cooked with cream. Lots of chives on top and that's it.
When it comes to drinks, they stiffened on bottles. So you can e.g. also don't order a big cola. The passion fruit spritzer consisted almost entirely of ice cubes.
Conclusion: once and not again.

I wonder where the deviation from the food block entry, which is / was not marked as advertising, fits with the experiences described by me and other guests here.
3.50 euros for cyclists from the bottle (0.33)
4.00 euros for passion fruit spritzer (0.3)
8.00 euros for Aperol Spritz (0.2)
AND
3.00 euros for Coca Cola (0.2)
So it's no wonder that you can't find a "menu" online. But somehow the sand has to be paid for ...

I'm only referring to the beach bar: the service was completely overwhelmed, we had to wait 45 minutes for a wine. Prices are steep, we no longer go there.

very nice location, nothing reminiscent of the old house bar, but unfortunately the potential is not used, especially as far as the service is concerned. Unfortunately, this is very inattentive and has a lot of room for improvement. We loved the food, especially the tartare. The fact that you cannot at least pay with an EC card is an absolute knockout for us. Criterion and in no way contemporary.

The review is only related to the beach bar:
The service was unfortunately poor, there was no menu and according to the waitress many drinks were no longer available, although other tables still got them ...

Nice cocktails and great service! We had to wait to get seated and some people tried to cut in line but the waitress was nice enough to ask them to leave the table.

I think they can use the space better, and maybe put on some chill out music!

They have one of my favorite whiskeys, ardbeg, as well as good service and relaxing atmosphere, what's not to like!

Very bad and totally overwhelmed service! Prices are tough!
We had to wait a long time for our drinks.
After these were there and we wanted to enjoy our cocktails, one of them didn't taste good (water + cucumber ...)
We notified the waitress, but it just happened 30 minutes. nothing at all. After that, she just obviously avoided us ... When we called a little louder and drew attention to us, she came very quickly. After the question where the new cocktail would be, she said she would go and ask again ... After what felt like an eternity, it came too, and it tasted really good!
When the cocktail was served, we ordered another shandy, but it never arrived ...

The food except for the dessert and the cheese platter were really very good. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. We were refilled with the wrong wine (namely the one from the next table), although only 3 tables were occupied, there was also no drinks menu and only cash payments were possible.
A store with a lot of potential, which unfortunately is not yet fully used. It's a shame.
