Praise God. A member of Fountain Baptist. Parent's church, elevated 2 New Shiloh, elevated to this Branch of Zion 4 over 20 years. Discipleship, leadership, evangelism ministry & minister in training. I am being fed: Angel's Food. I love God:the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and I love my Bishop and 1st Lady Thomas, family, members and friends. We serve a Big God: He will meet you where you are. Jesus is a church w/o walls. It's not the size but the substance.Taste and see .

I attended New Psalmist Baptist Church
it's a Wonderful Sanctuary!!!

This is the best place to worship God, pray, and get delivered very anointed house of God, the music are great, the usher, and the choir are great.

I've attended noontime worship service and 10 a.m. bible study on Wednesday. It was very encouraging. Seems to be a very popular day to attend church. It is a marvelously large church with a huge parking lot. Church members were warm and welcoming.

Enjoyable! Offers three services on Sunday. Friendly congregation.

Wonderful excellent service by professionals and the memberships of this church

The last year or so has been a time of great trial. I've seen situation and actions from places I've couldn't have imagined. Through it all,by the grace of God. New Psalmist Baptist Church has been God's answer to my survival. The key to a beautiful life starts with having a relationship with God ,let that relationship manifest itself at New Psalmist .God bless

Nice church to worship. The people are friendly and the church atmosphere is wonderful.

Bishop Walter Scott Thomas preached that service. He seems like he's talking to you personally.

Dr. Thomas is a very good Pastor who knows the Word of God without any doubt. We as a church family are highly blessed by God to have him. You will enjoy yourself when you attend any of the worship services (e.g. 7:00 a.m. 9:30 a.m. or 12:00 Sunday). Truly God is in His holy temple. You do as of right now have a standing invitation.

The diections and maps should be a little more easy for seniors and people who aren't able to follow. New Psalmist should have sign indicating down street off Wabash Avenue/Metro Drive entrance pointing straight down. Also at corner of Northern Parkway with indication down Metro Drive. Sign with arrow off Patterson Avenue pointing down Metro Drive straight ahead for people. Thank you.

Great service and biblical message. The music is on par with what you would expect from a professional show elsewhere, and conveys the spirit of worship and praise.

New Psalmist is a beautiful edifice. It has w e3onderful accommodations. It has a coffee shoppe, bookstore, spacious rooms and sanctuary...but no adult Sunday school. I have never been to a church without a Sunday School for adults...The sermon was carefully crafted, but lacking the power of the Holy Spirit. Bishop Thomas was not preaching...The son of the house that did preach was handsome, articulate, familiar with scripture, but lacking in relationship with the one of whom he spoke...The music also was great! If you are looking for a church with all the "right" appearances, you will find it here. But if you are looking for an encounter with the God that created you...you prally need to keep looking...maybe toward First Baptist Church of Glenarden...or somewhere

I ve been a member of New Psalmist since 1987 and love New Psalmist! Bishop Thomas is a phenomenal man a God and is lead by the spirit to bring people to Christ! Every Sunday is spirit filled like a good old fashion revival! #Ilovenewpsalmistdeepdowninmyheart.

Best church I ve ever been to in my life ! The energy you feel when you walk in is amazing so strong and warm! I love Bishop Thomas so much every time I go to his church he s preaching to my soul!

Huge 3-story church. Homey feel. Great, uplifting honest service. Super affordable cafe food and clean area. Excellent host to plenty of spiritual movements and faith-based conferences. Engages in community service. Collaborates with churches from all over the DMV. Nice, friendly, respectful people.

I've been a member for a few years and I am in awe each time I go; whether Bishop preach or a guest speaker preach. The choir(s) is/are amazing. Each service has a different feel however the power of God is always present!

Always a tremendous service filled with eye opening teaching and preaching.

I have attended the 7am services 2 wks in arrow, I have heard two preachers speak and the word was very uplifting. I am waiting to hear the pasters preached word at 7am service. I am looking for a church home for me and my family.
