I have been going to this church on and off for about 10 years. I have seen the transition from Peter to Rich and how the church continues to grow. It's a great church.
When I first came it was different from what I was use to coming from a church that although was consider multi-cultural, but was predominantly black. However NLF it's truly multi-cultural and I love seeing so many different ethnic groups coming to fellowship with on another. This church has a more subtle approach to worship and delivering the sermon than I was use to at the time. However after attending for a while I started to really enjoy it. And now I go whenever my time permits due to my schedule.

I will say you HAVE to get involved if you want to grow and stay connected. Unfortunately for me I have yet to get involved in any groups, b/c I don't want to commit if I know I'm not gonna be around majority of the time. I feel I would know ALL of the church by now and be well connected had I just got involved early on. However it's still a great church and I have taken friends here a few times.

I have only had 2 encounters early on that almost turned me away, but I realized I can't blame a whole church for 1 or 2 people's actions. When I brought my concerns forth to the appropriate person they assured me they would look into it and take care of it so that none else would have the same issues. And that I appreciated.

If you drive arrive early b/c parking gets full quickly and you'll find yourself driving around looking for a space. They tend to reserve the parking for New comers and families with infants. So keep that in mind.
All in all I highly recommend this church. It has a relaxed dress code although I like to dress up for church, but you don't have to really, but I've would say be respectful with whatever you wear, cause some people take the relaxed dress code to get in my opinion. Remember it's still a house of God.

I' m new for this Church i dont know the people so let see but good fellowship and good presence God willing i will love it. My propose IS not only talk with people but worship to Lord, i don't even know no one yet but i feel God presence great to be here in NLC God bless all.

Vibrant worship music, excellent sermons. This church serves people here and around the world with Christ centered Faith and action.

Pastor Rich and his staff are great! Truly a community focused church that focuses on relating the Word for all walks of life! Children s church is well setup as well.

Went to Mammogram bus parked outside, get info inside and could use bathroom after appt or before if necessary!!

Son died and was treated with no compassion by Pete Scazzero & members. Pete Scazzero needs to learn how to speak to people.

Pete Scazzero solves disputes by taking the word of one person instead of listening to both sides of the story.

Church does not practice what it preaches!
Once saw Rich Villodas on street and he tried to hide so i wouldn t see him. Guess he practices what he preaches only in church. He tries to avoid you if he sees you on street. To Rich, its listen to me on Sunday, don t bother me the rest of the week! That applies to Pete Scazzero as well, he is too busy wanting to sell his books and seek notoriety.

Pete Scazzero doesnt respect what others do for a living especially if you work for the city.

Typical White Evangelical Church that seduces you with Gods word only to impose its own church rules on you!

Church is self absorbed.

First time visiting last Sunday and it was amazing So warm and inviting. I really felt the love of God there.

Excellent sermons that feed your spirit. They offer so many events & ways to get connected.

Thoroughly recommend this lovely Church. Pastor was amazing and the service was great in general. Lovely multicultural feel to the place. We travelled all the way from ireland via New Jersey to get here but was really worth it.

Everything. The worship, sermons, teachings, community, multiracial, multi ethnic.

Best preaching in Queens if not in tri-borough... wait to see the youth group service...

I was serving in the church for about 6 months satisfactorily, I had my baby for 2 years in the nursery, the head of the department of the nursery named Jenna had rude and indifferent attitudes with me and my baby from the beginning, I remember one occasion About 2 months ago when I tried to enter my child to the nursery and Jenna did not let me in because my child had a bit of snot on his nose, his attitude towards me always little cortex and rude, the second occasion a week before Halloween, I remember how she did not want to inform me about the special event that the children had about taking them to the nursery dress custom for that event, finally my baby had to be that day as the ugly duckling of the class because all the children were properly dressed to the event. the last incident happened last Sunday, the moment I go with my husband to pick up my child she Jenna use these words (there something wrong with your son) he is touching the children clothes, we ask where is my child , she says, he is in the room on the side, which was in the room on the side, but he was without his shirt and vest, he was in a room isolated from the other children attended by a girl of the same age. 9 or maybe 10 years and the most frightening of all in a room with the windows open to a temperature of 25 degrees Farenheit, when I picked up my child was frozen arms, crying because I did not want to be in that room alone and cold. parents take great care where they leave their children, because yesterday this sad situation happened to me and my baby tomorrow that situation could happen to you. nothing bad or wrong has my son, on the contrary, he attends a school for about 9 months and only receives compliments from his teachers for the brilliant mind that my son has. Sorry to have written me so much in the word but I really want you to know what happened to me in this place.

NLF is a solid church with teaching the uncompromised word of God. I lived one block away from here for 3 years and though I had a home church, I absolutely loved visiting and participating in some of their events and workshops. Their heart for the local community is amazing and how they live out the message of Jesus as they serve the poor, the homeless and those in need. I highly recommend it to anyone to fellowship here.

A church built around emotional health, spiritual growth, and life in fellowship. Connected to CDC community development program which supports the homeless, the underprivileged, and those in need of basic health needs. The leaderships run a great ship. Can t wait for services to allow congregants to return!

Currently there are three services - 9 am, 10:30 am and 12:30 am. Joining a small group is the best way to connect with others. Three are a lot of small groups based on location or commonality.
The staff is always friendly and available.

Great community of believers. Multi racial and generational church. Excellent teaching for all ages.

Excellent church and community of Evangelical Christians. Recently converted from Roman Catholicism, and have felt very welcomed by this community. You are encouraged to get involved. Your spiritual needs are met while also encouraging you to work on your emotional needs!

I used to be a member of this church until Dec 2015. On March 25, 2012 my 23rd Birthday I was removed from kids ministry. A few weeks earlier I had placed a juice in the closet and a kid followed me. To make matters worse the mother was looking for the kid as I ushered him out of the closet. She reported this and Rosie Villodas (Pastor Rich's wife) told me I could no longer be a small group leader. I felt ostracized in a place I once called home. What's even worse is that she offered me a "greeter" position which I now see was nothing more than a security guard for the kids. Don't be stupid like I did and stay 5 years in this false church. I regret ever stepping foot here on August 10, 2010.

This is a place where people grow closer to god even after the toughest of circumstances. They encourage you to just sit and take the word and later be a blessing and join a ministry. Their hearts are just so filled with god and they push you and guide you along an amazing journey. I LOVE NEW LIFE! they also have an online service for all my college students that don't have time to go to the church when you have homework.

My husband seen a sign saying "park at your own risk" in the back of the church. I thought that meant they would not be responsible for any damages that would happen to my car. Much to my surprise after 2 1/2 hrs later my car was towed away. It cost us $275.00 which I would have gladly made a donation to the church if they would have presented us with a warning and a donation card. Not a very good way to show the love or compassion through New Life Fellowship Church.

Ok so after months of watching online I finally made it to the church. I didn t realize the first service dosent end until like 10:25am. Second service supposed to start at 10:30. Tons of people NOT ONE PERSON greeted me or said welcome they were to self absorbed in there personal conversations amungst one another to take time to welcome new people. Big turn off. This only one close to my house unfortunately. Will travel to manhattan for now on Times Square Church. If you don t mind being ignored come here.
