New Jersey Turnpike Authority Review

Your customer service rep should be called a customer service jerk. Just talked to John on the phone. He was interruptive and cold and wasn't listening to my questions. "Let me tell you how this works" were the first words out of his mouth before I could even fully explain my situation. Then, he ended the call with "you need to make sure you talk to a manager at the rental agency, not just anyone who picks up the phone. If they have a problem with what I told you, tell them they can call John at the Turnpike Authority." If you don't like your job, buddy, quit. Don't be rude to customers when they call.

The new Jersey turnpike is a racket. I got a flat with no spare I was hung up on by the guy on the phone while I was still trying to explain my situation. And I was told by the police I could not have someone bring me my spare. Oh and i had a trailer on my truck so one of my employees came you to get it, but the the tow truck driver didn't let me hook it up he had to call another tow truck to get it.
Sorry if I am missing words I am so mad.

To expensive, to sit in traffic. Convenient but the price they charge at the tolls is out of line. Weren t the toll both so posed to be taken down in the 90 s ? The toll both operators have mostly been dismissed, why haven t the booths been taken down? Oh and by the way E-ZPass is convenient but the full time booth operators where very helpful I remember.

Apparently had my license plates stolen from a car I bought and drove in Texas 5 years ago and whoever stole them is using the New Jersey Turnpike. They are trying to charge me a final notice fee of $50 for a toll that was $1.50, never even received a first notice at all. Then they decided to send it to collections immediately. I shouldn't even have to go through are y'all's loops and holes to clear my name. Those tags were not even on the same vehicle they were registered to (5 years ago) most likely. Classic case of government usurping it's power to make citizens life's hell. I've never even been to New Jersey and will definitely not be visiting ever if this is the way things are ran there.

Honestly, this is my dream job. Me and my boys are always chatting about how pristine the holy t u r n p i k e is. As soon as my girl said OWO I knew I had to try and inject myself into the N e w J e r s e y T u r n p i k e authority. I love every aspect of these roads. Let s kick back sometime and enjoy a chocolate macchiato, courtesy of me!

The equipment on the exact change is beat up and barely maintained.

I was entering the Garden State Parkway North from Brick NJ
We threw 50 cents in exact change and didn t register
We beeped the horn repeatedly.
Tom the Supervisor was inside the booth trying to fix the beat up machine.
He was unable to fix it.
He closed the lane and told Us to proceed

if i could give lower i would, the attitudes of the toll workers are horrible, maybe if they would take the earbuds out of their ears they would be more consumer friendly

Something of a scam unfortunately. If you happen to have a problem with your EZPass account before you take a toll road, best of luck to you

If you re unfortunate enough to have this experience, they won t even direct you to the proper channels to pay your violation until it s already accrued multiple admin fees. In fact they ll actively misdirect you and tell you to just consult EZPass customer support, quietly sending a snail mail violation that takes weeks to reach you, accumulating late fees all the while.

That is of course assuming you can even get someone on the phone, and not just sit there waiting infinitely for someone to pick up a phone that nobody s attending. If you do have to call you d better Be able to block out at least two hours on a weekday or you re getting nowhere. It should be IMPOSSIBLE for somebody who is actively attempting to pay a violation to not be able to do so, or to not even be notified that their violation exists until it s accrued fees! Either disturbingly incompetent or just a revenue generator

The NJ Turnpike is the biggest joke in NJ right now! Highest tolls in the northeast with the highest rate of traffic jams and poor road conditions!!!

Great office space location. Good parking, very scenic and convenient to get to.
