Put on an immediate payhold after being approved and provided one week of benefits . I followed all the prompts answered all the questions honestly And filed my continued claims on time . Was fired from my job with a doctors note excusing my absence . I have called the hotline 3 times and had no avail . I have been waiting now almost 2 weeks to get a call back from these people to get the issue fixed . I first filed on August 9th it is now September 23rd and I have only received one direct deposit for 126$ don t rely on unemployment People.

Very disappointed. I had filed for 7 weeks, trying to get a hold of them by sending email and phone calls because I hadn t gotten any money from them. By the 8th week I finally got through on a phone call! They said they received it and that they had to fill it out again because something was wrong going from me to their computers. So they filled out the paperwork over the phone to make sure they had it for the last 7 weeks. I double checked with the lady I spoke with to make sure I d still be getting it all, and she reassured me I ll get every penny of it. Well I got denied for those 7 weeks even though I talked to her and one other guy to make sure everything was still ok. BOTH told me I would be getting the money no trouble. Sure enough, I m here sharing the story from late April because I have still not received the promised 7 weeks of unemployment. I cannot get a hold of them through email, or phone calls at all since then. I am owed at least 3 grand and can t find a way to even let them know how they screwed up.

During the Covid19 shutdown, I had to call NHES twice. The first time the wait time was very long; the second, I only waited 30 seconds. BOTH times, the customer service was polite, professional, accurate, supportative and a comfort during such a difficult time. Thank you for all your help.

Called unemployment for the second time. About 45 minutes later, the most miserable woman on the face of the planet answered the phone with a sigh and wanted no part of helping me. All I wanted to know was why my husband hasn't been paid although it says he has. Unlike her, my husband is out of work and this is what we rely on for income.

She proceeded to tell me that I dont need to call back because the answers to all of my questions (that I hadn't even asked yet) were on the website. She wouldn't let me speak and hung up on me. So now I get to wait on hold for another 45 minutes.

My recommendations to the "customer service representative" that took my call today would be to remember that she's still employed during this difficult time and many are not. Hopefully you get to deal with someone a bit more helpful when you're also out of work with no income.

With COVID19, you'd think all NH Unemployment Offices would be open. Nope, just Concord. But being on hold for eternity (over 20mins and counting as I type this) is unacceptable. I haven't received any of my Unemployment Pay for a month. I'm extremely frustrated (to put it lightly), no one answers the phone or email. I'll be contacting my Representative/Lawyer. If I could choose zero stars, I would.

From being the one that provided for an entire family to not receiving any help or someone even looking at claims is disgusting. Well I am obviously sharing this review on the unemployment office since the pandemic started. Clearly people are going to be upset and want to give bad reviews, i m just so glad this isn t a business that people could possibly ruin over their review scores. Everybody s selfish and jobless and they want what they want and they want it now, there is literally 30 million Americans out of work right now they had to bring on volunteers to help with the mass amount of phone calls and claims they were receiving....Since these people did not previously work for the unemployment office they really didn t know the correct answers to give you on alot of things. I would literally get a different response from every single person I spoke to. I know everybody s hurting and frustrated and your bills aren t paid, but you have to be able to just sit back and understand the craziness that is going on right now. I didn t get one dollar of unemployment for like six months but when I found out I was supposed to be getting it I applied, they backdated it, it took like two months but I finally got all that money, I just had to be patient..... All I m saying is this is a pretty good business, they do help people get jobs. right now things are just a little cray

Claims should be paid out immediately and checked later by agents or instantly by the inept NHES servers. Shouldn't make people wait weeks to months for their own tax money. People are starving and losing their homes.

Website is horrendously out of date and confusing. Additionally it is not mobile friendly and prompts that username and password are wrong when they are not and get you locked out of your account. This is fallowed by a prompt to contact your administrator which is an email and then hope they respond. As of yet nothing. 3 weeks and 3 claims and no new from them. Will have to go there in person which may change this review from a one to two star but the website is absolute garbage.

Update: received an email saying I have the capability to change my password since I opened the account and should do that. Literally told me to do what I had already done. Absolutely no help. They are not even worth a one star maybe half a star at most!

The people have always been helpful and my payments have come in a timely matter. Given the overwhelming of the system from this emergency, I think a little slack should be cut for them. Overall I think they have done a good job.

They don t own to their mistakes, so any overpayments they make you pay back are on you despite the accuracy and truth to the questions you answer. I now owe $1800 back from the bonus $600 even when I stated in my weekly claims I wasn t out of work at the time due to COVID, now it s going to cause financial hardships especially since I just moved into a new place. So that s peachy.

Mobil friendly turn your device internet to website instead of mobil. Try calling and asking for help the people are there to help you and friendly. Remember everyone whom lost a job is applying and they have to deal wit all our mistakes their mistakes and electronic mistakes.

I am not understanding what is going on ! Thursday 7/2 I was on hold for 3hrs never anyone answering now today 7/3 I called during regular business hours and they say were closed, I have been hung up on numerous times and getting threatening notices saying I need to do fact finding sheets that dont pertain to my unemployment status ! Started the unemployment debacle on 31-March and have yet to see any money come my way. The same issue has happened multiple times where you call and get a ring tone for a second but then goes to the beep beep beeping and have yet to reach a real person. every call goes directly to a voicemail that either isn't set up or is full and when you email them all you get is an automated message saying to do what you already know. Nobody seems to give a hoot about it and seems like a joke. They owe me over 2 grand now and money gets tight quick.
They did send me a notice saying the reason for the long extension on not paying was due to the fact that I didn't tell them I was working....just no hours or 10 hours available but that was the first thing I did. Normally there's someone that goes through this with you so you don't make mistakes but the online thing for me is at best very difficult to maneuver.

Just called in today customer service her only reply to all my questions was " Go to nhes.nh.gov. . That was still going on even when I told her I had problems using laptop going on websites. So I told her I needed to make sure my address was correct if that something she could do for now.
Customer service asked me for social security, age ,phone number, address and then she couldn't hear clearly my zip code .
So I kept repeating it over and over until I told her maybe you should tell me. Do you know what she did?
She said " I'm not giving you any info, hold on I'm getting someone else.
Is this a joke?
Why didn't she do that from the beginning?

Sit on hold for 45 minutes, a person answers only to tell you they're going to get you "connected" to a claims "specialist" which means they put you back on hold until they close or the line is disconnected. This has happened to me almost every day this week started calling between 11AM & 1PM and called every single day except for Wednesday. One time I called sat on hold for over an hour, my phone died, I plugged it in, it turned on, I called back and the useless customer service agent (who connects you to a specialist [which i have yet to confirm even exist]) picked up on the third ring. How is that even possible??

This morning Kyle not only helped me file for the past week but I missed the week prior due to technical difficulties. He noticed that and helped me file. Incredible work !!!

I applied for NH unemployment on November I received a determination right away and have been filling my weekly claims faithfully. As of today I have received ZERO money from unemployment. I am technologically impaired and so I have to call in all the time and everyone has been really helpful and patient.If I leave a message someone gets back to me within 24 hrs, usually sooner. I have zero complaints.At a time when they are insanely busy and must be overwhelmed they are always very pleasant.

All right I'm not going to lie it has been hell getting someone on the phone but they do have the National Guard there Manning the phones during the covid-19 pandemic. Spoke to a young man named Colin who is stationed out of Portsmouth with our National Guard the money is coming when they're doing their best let's just say patient in this dark time and all you have to do is just keep calling I recommend if you have a cell phone using an auto dialer app because eventually you will get true they are experiencing is very long wait times you will be on hold for about an hour.

I needed unemployment benefits for a few months several years ago. It was a much easier experience. I understand that these are very difficult times which is why I am giving it a 3 star, instead of a one or two. The website, however, is very user-unfriendly. It would be great if it could be simplified.
I appreciate the help of the customer service team when one finally gets through. This website is most challenging, however.

If I could give a less then 1 I would. Went on line, created account. Had to go back on, try to submit a sign on rest, get a reply back saying I don't have an account. So Try to log on as new, go through everything, get a reply that I already have an account, REALLY? Try calling ever number I can find for them, get two rings then busy. Have submitted 2 emails now for assistance, still no help. They need to have a better phone service, even one that tells you we will call you back, or something. But to get no answer at all, and I've been calling for 3 days. There's no help on line, just no help at all.

Does not answer phones or email. Lost my login information and website kept saying my information was wrong, it wasnt. Told me email for prompt response, never got one. Called multiple times while the office was open, and no one answered. And to top it off, one of the times I called, they answered and hung up on me without saying anything.

I have to say a BIG thank you to the gentleman from the NH Unemployment office who spent a minimum of 10 minutes on the phone helping me file my claim correctly, and instructions on how to continue my claim weekly. This is the second time I have needed help and have called. Each time I have received nothing but the best customer service. To be treated so nicely during this time of upheaval was not expected and makes me feel good about our State and the people who live here, all trying to help each other. Let's all pay it forward. Going to sleep happy.

I have called multiple times and only gotten an answer once, I was paid for the first week and then my pay has been withheld for the past 4. Have been hung up on twice and told once that I would be paid soon, and was not. Ridiculous to make us wait weeks with no contact for our own tax money when we can't afford to keep food on our table, never mind keep up with mortgage and utilities.

Update: 8 weeks now, called several times and each time they say they have no information on when the "adjudicator" is going to contact me. Meanwhile I'm behind on bills, going to a food bank, and putting groceries on a credit card. All after I paid into unemployment insurance with my tax dollars for the past year. NH Unemployment is a f***ing scam.

I had given one star but later found that the benefit my wife received was correct. Yes, it can take an hour or more to actually reach someone but considering that in other states, checks were delayed, sometimes for months, than by gosh, New Hampshire's DES did a good job, and under such severe strain, even long waits should be forgiven, so 5 stars.
