My daughter attended last year and loved it. The camp is beautiful, the other children are nice, and instruction is top notch. It's a great atmosphere and musical experience.

Absolutely the best summer camp! I was a camper for 5 years and loved it! NEMC is home away from home.

This is a first rate summer music camp that will be a transforming experience musically and personally for any young musician. Going strong since its founding in 1937, they continue to provide very high levels of musical instruction in a balanced program of music and recreational activities. They are situated on an extremely beautiful lake in central Maine. Send your child this summer!!

An amazing second home for young musicians. My last two summers there were incredible, and i'm looking forward to my third year this summer a lot.

This summer is going to be my fourth wonderful year at NEMC. It is a wonderful environment with great people that has me coming back summer after summer.

I went to NEMC as a camper 1994 - 1996 for violin and voice; it was great then, and it's great now - I just sent my daughter there this past year (20 years later) - and she loved it; the structure and faculty are excellent, music instruction is rigorous and creative. Needless to say, next year she will be back for both sessions - keep up the good work NEMC!

My daughter attended two years in a row and thrived. The instructors, staff, and counselers are wonderful with the kids. The teachers and counselers are all very talented and supportive of the campers.

Best summers of my life...by far. According to reviews all going well after all these years.

The purpose of this camp is to gather musical kids together so that they can share a summer of music together. However, that isn't what happens. What happens is that it takes a bunch of kids from all walks of life and creates a meaningful experience for them that they will refer to continuously for the rest of their lives. It helps build self-confidence and it is fun! I attended the camp for four summers, made some life-time friends, and even met my husband there. I intend to send my children there when they get older.

NEMC provided me with my most favorite memories from my middle school and high school years. I grew as a musician and met friends I still keep in touch with. The second I left NEMC at the end of the session I looked forward to next summer when I could go back. That was a period of my life that I miss so much, and I can't thank NEMC and the Wiggins for providing it. I highly recommend this camp to anyone with any interest in music.

I attened for six years as a kid and they were the best summers! Learned tremendous amounts that I have taken with me to college. Also, even if your child enjoys playing music, but may not want to persue it, NEMC is still a great place for them to be! My best friend, who lives 2000 miles away from me, went to camp and we still keep in touch and visit yearly.

I recommend NEMC to any child that wants a summer enriched with music while still having fun being a kid!
