If you have medicaid be prepared to make an appt only..Nd one appt at a time. The dr needs his money for a whole day....never been seen as a walk in smh...discriminating...ooh and theres always a balance for glasses...
When faced with an emergency, in the middle of a global pandemic, New County Optical was a lifeline for me. As an essential worker, I was faced with a critical situation that needed immediate attention. They were able to replace both lenses in an old pair of glasses that I was forced to wear since my contact lenses were not wearable due to an eye infection - no contacts, no glasses, no work! They were there when I needed them, with the highest level of customer service the likes of which I have never experienced before! I had my new glasses in two and half days and I was back to work - with the ability to see! Highly recommended - a fabulous experience all around!

Wow, what an optical store. Went there expecting the typical DEA provider, and I was amazed by the selection. Not only did I get my prescription lenses done, I bought a pair of of Costa Del Mar sunglasses for me and my wife .Definitely check this place out, it is by far the best optical store I have been to,

Great place to have your eyes checked. They have a large selection of glasses. The service and support are exceptional. I have been coming here for more than twenty years.
BE WARNED! Although County Optical has nice people at the front desk, the gentleman (I use the word lightly) that manages the shop is unethical and shameless in his business practices. DO NOT leave them any kind of deposit they will claim is refundable. I was urged to try contacts after stating in my exam that I have a torn cornea and contacts aggravate it. Regardless I was urged to try a FREE trial test packet at NO RISK. I was charged $155 deposit to be used later to order the contacts by phone. I was told the deposit was 100% refundable by the manager himself. Needless to say, the trial set of contacts tore by cornea open which lead to another visit in the exam room where I was urged to try another pair and told to give it time for the discomfort to subside. Why were they pushing me to keep trying when I kept asking for my refund? It was very suspicious. A third visit to their shop and a phone call to the manager followed and the manager told me the best he could do is give me a $30.00 store credit. I demanded my $155 to be refunded. The manager told me if I came into his store and requested my refund that he would call the police and have me arrested! This man is unethical and fraudulent. I URGE YOU TO SEEK EYE CARE ELSEWHERE! County Opticals Manager does not care about their patients. He is a THIEF. READ THE REVIEWS. THIS IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY!
Bad customer service. I called the place to tell her about the problems I had with the lens. She spoke in a condescending manner and was rude. I went there once and will not go there again. I would rather go somewhere with better customer service.
