Stayed for three nights, and while the hotel is an older one, the room, gym, pool/hot tub, and grounds in general are great. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We had a slight leak in the ceiling from plumbing, but it was quickly taken care of, and while the staff and general manage offered to move us to another room immediately, we decided to stay put since we really enjoyed the room's balcony view overlooking San Antonio. One slight caveat about the hotel is that parking is an extra $28/night, and although there is a cheap lot a block away, the GM, Joe, was kind enough to comp us the hotel's lot for our stay due to the leak, as well as give us a generous late check out. Joe's the man!

Planned to stay here for our Anniversary weekend and couldn't find anything on the riverwalk. I'm glad we didn't this location is best from everything. Super friendly people at the desk and valet. Kristina and Elizabeth at the front desk were always available and made everything possible for us to get settled in. Best balcony views and finally we made it to a pool and relax. Excellent weather this past weekend and you won't be disappointed with this Marriott. I can't believe you got 4 stars you guys are definitely a 5 star I am looking forward to staying with you again later on this summer. Very impressed.

So basically the front staff was nice and friendly the 1st night we stepped outside for the some family fun and we had a speaker with music as per their music was on as well and LOUD so we didn't complain and just jammed out and drank outside and the had a chill night. So 2nd night we order food and go to the pool and we were not in the pool but they still kicked us out of the pool area which has tables and chairs to chill. We go to the fire pit and they kick us out asleep. Rooms are very dated. Super old school and you can hear your neighbors talk. Not what a Marriot usually is. Parking is also super bad. Valet is expensive. And when they're is no parking they say we'll you might need to find a public parking after I paid valet already! Never again.

Front staff is wonderful. Seriously, this hotel has picked the best customer friendly individuals in all of San Antonio. The front staff really made friends with my daughter. So much so, one staff member made her a hand made thank you card! I mean really, who does that nowadays? I'm beyond amazed with the amazing staff, including DJ :) My daughter has been talking about it all night. The hotel was beautiful. It was calm and extremely clean. I'm so glad I picked this gem. I wish I could give this place higher stars.

If anyone out there is trying to find great deals for hotel rooms check . reserved a hotel room on there and they had the best rates worldwide!

One of the best maintained Marriott properties I've stayed at recently. Everything is very clean and neat. Beautiful grounds and pool area. Nice to have the restaurant and bar open again. Rooms are large, hopefully the bathrooms will get a refresh in the next year or two.

Clean and pleasant. Decor is ok-somewhat drab but very Texas. Front desk agent didn t review the elite level at all when asking about late check out-simply said I can do 12:00 . Reservation was under a different name.

Very comfortable and the staff are as professional as they come for a Marriott. It definitely would have gotten 5 stars but they did not inform me that you have to pay a $25.00 parking fee just to park at the hotel. Also for a $145.00 a night room you would think that it would come with a microwave, and a balcony. And not be directly next to the elevator shaft, hearing it go up and down all night with vibrating walls. But overall the stay was pleasant and the staff definitely make up for the other unpleasantries.

I give it a 3 due to the balance of things

I give it a 3 due to the balance of things
The parking lot is not free is $27 per night
The room view we got was towards roofs and satellite and back roads

Also when there was snow, i walked outside for a bit to enjoy the snow
And the reception locked me outside in the cold
The beds didnt look like queen sizes, the look more like full or twin sizes
And they didn t have microwaves in the rooms

Now, the customer service was nice
The ladies in the service desk were polite when we arrived and when we needed something

The location is great and walking distance from everything

This place is highly overpriced they charge you $27 to park in their parking lot and the beds are tiny.... this place literally is a 3-star hotel that has a rating of a 4-star hotel the nicest part of it is there Lobby. I'm giving it 2 stars because of how disappointed I was and how overpriced it was. You're better off staying at a Comfort Inn because this is on the same standard as one...
