This joint saved my life a coupla' times over, no doubt. Staff is A1.
I went to NBCC in New Brunswick three years ago. Im currently not a patient but between there and South Amboy Lower Street clinic. I feel that the cousnlers at NBCC are me caring about there patient. Also know that Doctor B is a very good doctor I have also recently asked him about transferring back there and he said that I would have to ask my cousler at South Amboy to do a transfer. So I'm in the process of transferring back to NBCC.
Look elsewhere; they have no ethics psycho-pharmacology-wise. money is their motivation. and abusing the modicum of power their desk gives them.. they seem to literally get off on abusing patients' rights.
Great place for any drug addicted person who wants to stop using and change his life, I personally recommend this place, I have been receiving treatment for a year now and it's the best decision I ever made , try it it's totally worth it !!!
This place should be CLOSED.. We have a heroin crisis with people dying and this clinic only cares about the money. Staff gives you an appointment delay of 2 to 3 weeks for evaluation to start the methadone program if you have medicaid or the 142.00 first week and 80.00 after that. Otherwise, go home. Staff attitude is beyond rude and uncaring . They are always contradicting each other on information and competing among themselves about who can be the rudest. Obviously there is not supervision about these people or the manager is always out. If someone is giving you a ride, there is not parking so good luck getting help here.
They have no compassion they have no experience dealing patient with those condition they multiply father away those who has no money no transportation to get nothing it's like they don't care about thtem very sad that the system is so corrupted
It's a methadone clinic, which is a place to get high disguised as a rehab. Now you give your money to them for a fix instead of the dealers. Counseling is only minimal, probably cause some form of it is required by law. No real hope, and yes the woman who runs the counter is beyond rude.
If one with a problem with opioid addiction of any type or pain best place is NBCC not some street dealers . Many years of experience and professional services .DON'T over look getting help here.
Kind and helpful staff. Cathy at the front desk is very nice to all , but a bit strict. The inside is usually very clean, bathrooms could be a bit cleaner though.
