My first visit was for a haircut...it rocks..Amanda didn't cut all my hair off ..she kept the length and went to town..I must say,this is one of the best haircuts I have had...I love it..!! Regarding the animals, I didn't mind the dogs..they were super mellow.
I enjoyed talking to Amanda...she is kind and very down to earth...
I cannot wait to go back...
And yes it is more expensive than other salons, but you get what you pay for....and it was worth every penny..!!!!!!

Jordan is the only person I will let touch my eyebrows. She makes them PERFECT, or "on fleek."

This place used to be good, but it s been an expensive disappointment the past three times. The last one was probably the quickest hair appointment I ve ever had - and it shows. It s a feels like a hack job about six inches shorter than I requested. Lesson learned.

When I was looking for high rated salons in Buffalo, I came across The New Age Salon. I have curly hair and when I made an appointment over the phone I made it clear that I had curly hair and wanted lots of blonde high lights. I also asked a for a firm price (because people tend to overcharge me when they see my hair). The day of my appointment, I was charged about $30 more than what I agreed to pay over the phone. I asked for a head of blonde highlights and I got somewhere around 6 blonde highlights and the stylist told me it made sense to continue returning to her for more. I HATED my new look. However, when I expressed my dissatisfaction I was refunded in full.

I love, love, love this salon. I am a very picky person when it comes to my hair. I have been to numerous salons in the Western NY area and this salon is by far the best. I have had my hair done by both Amanda and Jordan and they are both great. They are knowledgeable, talented, friendly, and both up to date on the latest trends/styles. The atmosphere is comfortable and fun. They are awesome and Im hard to please. Book an appointment with them , they are wonderful. You won't be disappointed!

As usual, Amanda has done an excellent job with my hair.

I've gotten two haircuts here, and won't be getting any more. Both were with Jordan, not Amanda. The first experience was great, although they charged me for my Locks of Love donation prep without telling me beforehand. This means that they charged me $5 to put my hair in a ponytail!

The second time was awful. Amanda was extraordinarily rude, and her two little dogs kept jumping on me and my bag. She made zero efforts to keep them off me, and got mad at me for trying to gently scold them away. I don't know if Amanda was having a really bad day, but her behavior was pretty appalling.These dogs have not been trained, and should not be in her salon jumping on her customers. The haircut I got this day was also pretty terrible. I was glad to leave, and don't intend to go back.

Cannot recommend.

Very cool trendy shop moved here and was looking for a new place born to a few wasn't thrilled. This is the spot for me my hair looks and feels fabulous!!! Happy

The girls here are great and have done a fantastic job every time I've visited, definitely check them out!

Had my very first appointment yesterday with Jordan. Absolutely love the salon! Read the other reviews complaining about the owners dog...omg! he was the most well behaved dog I've come in contact with, so I honestly don't understand why other reviewers are complaining (must not be dog people..lol) As for my color and cut....I love the color! Hair's a little shorter than I'm used to but totally trusted Jordan with the grow my hair back plan. Salon atmosphere was great, very professional, unlike the chaotic salons I've been to in past. I usually don't post reviews on services I have received but truthfully this is how I found New Age Salon. I got so tired of getting crappy cuts from other salons and wasting money and never being satisfied. So I googled top rated salons in Buffalo and here I am! So bottom line is trust me on this one !! I am a habitual hair complainer but I feel good about this one. Give them a call and try it for yourself! Thank you Jordan and as for the dog "William" it was a pleasure meeting you little man :)

Amanda is an incredible stylist and barber. She is extremely passionate about hair and it shows in her work. I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Jordan gave me a fabulous funky new short hair cut! Plus, she gave a great recommendation for a new hair product. Every time I go to New Age I get a cut that goes with my lifestyle and personality, and it's a style that I wouldn't have dreamed up. Thank you and see you in Oct. for highlights! Woo!

So delightful! The salon is lovely, Amanda and Jordan are kind, welcoming and comfortable.
Amanda cut my hair beautifully and it was clear that she enjoyed her work as much as I enjoyed the skillful cut. They are a cash only salon, so be careful to come prepared with cash. Overall I am thrilled to find such a comfortable quality salon.

I have been visiting this salon since I moved to Buffalo in 2013. After trying couple of other salons, I found New Age Salon. Amanda's work and professionalism speaks for itself. With a customer first approach, she has always put the needs of her client first, and has accommodated my last minute changes and requests. Whenever I visit, I hear other clients rave about her hair coloring and styling work. Indeed, it reflects in her calendar that gets booked weeks/months ahead. The place and its unique interiors is an added bonus of visiting the salon. Thanks for your awesome service - continue doing the good work.

LOVE THIS PLACE. I've been getting my haircut here for several years and I don't intend on ever stopping. Jordan and Amanda have a special dynamic together, which always makes it a unique haircutting experience.

I have had my hair cut by Jordan multiple times, and every time she's done an awesome job! Definitely recommend going here.

I'm pretty sure having dogs at a salon is a health code violation...I will be contacting authorities to follow up on this matter. 2 little dogs run amuk ruining the 'relaxation feel' any person looks forward to while going to a salon.
The salon itself has a nice atmosphere, but Amanda has a very undesirable personality, and rude, brash character.
I WILL NOT go back, and I DO NOT recommend. Fawn & Fox on Deleware Avenue at West Delevan is a MUCH better experience, with stylists who are MUCH more accommodating.

So I have to say I am beyond blessed to have found New Age Salon. I am originally from Chicago and after several failed attempts trying to get my hair colored I found where the Magic happens in Buffalo. I found New Age Salon by reviews from people like you. I OWE it to all of you who posted about New Age Salon. Really, if you are reading this and trying to find the Gem of Buffalo Salons, go no further. Don't waste anymore time and money on cuts and color... Amanda and Jordon are truly gifted artisists. Amanda did an outstanding job on my color and cut. My hubbie said "I have never seen your hair color look so amazing and natural" FYI I have a few different shades going on so for it to look as natural as it does with so many shades is ridiclous. For the first time in the 11 years of getting my hair colored in Buffalo I can honestly say I have found my New Hair Home... The gals are not only beautiful and fun but down to earth. Love them... Oh, I can't leave William out...he's the sweet little soft 4 legged friend who loves to love you... Thank you Amanda and Jordon for your work. I truly appreciate you both.

Jordan has been doing my hair for 3 years and it's so nice to be able to say "do whatever you want" and always walk out the door lookin' good ;)

On top of that, both Jordan and Amanda (owner) are awesome people and always fun to chat with. Two very amazing human beings!
