Nevex Printing Centre Review

Probably the worst printing service you can use. I paid for my order the day before and was told to pick it up at 9 the next day. Came in and they have not even printed it at 10, my name was not even on the system.

TLDR
Use their services if you like things late and love incompetent services in general.

Very professional and accomodating, I had a last minute request and staff were so helpful. They saved my presentation day!!

They are very helpful and reliable, they gave me student discount and have very affordable prices anyway. It took me only a few minutes to walk to the shop from Kings Cross station. Very good service as well, thank you!

Rapid response to my email with a quote. Email documents and was printed with no hassle by the time I arrived at kings cross. The team had a nice friendly manner as well.

Recommended. There was a problem with printing my artwork, some of the pictures wouldn t show. They quickly spotted that, we fixed it together and my portfolio was printed on time. I would definitely recommend them.

APPALLING. Horrific customer service. Rude staff that spoke to me like I was stupid because I didn't know about technical details to do with printing sizes and files. I openly told them that I didn't know anything about printing and would they mind advising me on sizing and papers. I am a first year university student at UAL and haven't had experience with external printing as of yet. The one guy that started serving me told me he would need to resize my images as they aren't of the sizing I needed. Apart from him being condescending, I was happy to let that slide as he was doing me a favour by resizing my prints for me. He told me it was going to take a while and started serving someone else in the mean time- I assumed he was doing both jobs at once. I was being ignored for a total of an hour and a Half by this point and there had been 2 queues of people being served whilst I was sat waiting for a total of 6 prints???? Very perplexed as to why about 15 people walked in and out with more than 6 prints whilst I had been waiting for that long. Finally I get up and walk towards the desk to hint 'Hello I'm still here' and a woman asked me how she could help and I explained I thought her colleague was printing them and she told me that they were not being printed. So at this point I had to stand for another half an hour and explain all over again what files I wanted printed on what paper/ what size etc. She was very helpful and managed to print them all in a matter of 10 minutes. Whilst the girl next to me was having difficulties with the original member of staff that started serving us both as he told her mid-printing that the rest of her prints would have to wait until after they'd finished a 3 hour job!? I was in there for over 2 hours for 6 prints and the entire experience was stressful, frustrating and uncomfortable. Will not be bringing my business here again.

We had architectural drawings printed at A1 and we were really impressed with the quality of the prints. Very well located by kings cross and the guys were great to accommodate our very quick 1 hour turnaround! They have out of office hours which is a massive bonus!!

Really bad experience ,never come again . Bad service and bad quality printing ...

I've used this print shop many times, mostly for my study needs, and the service is always brilliant. Very reliable and highly recommended.

UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

I am writing this review not only to warn the fellow customers. I am also hoping that the owner will read this and maybe discuss expected customer service standards with his staff (this place is open 7 days a week for long hours, and so it would seem that the owner is committed to running a successful business).







Fortunately, this is London, and so even though it was already 7pm, I was able to find a different shop, ABC Imaging, just off the Farringdon station, which bound the documents in Perfect binding for me, professionally printed on the spine with no problem, for a fair price, and it was done already at 10am the next morning (even though technically it was a 24 service). Thank you ABC Imaging for saving the day.

Needed 1000 flyers printing urgently, Nevex were great, so friendly and helpful and managed to get my flyers printed in under 24 hours - simply amazing!! I will definitely be back next time, the service was outstanding and I highly recommend.

I ordered over 100 name badges for a conference held at my company, and was held to a very tight deadline. Nevex successfully printed out all of the name badges and delivered them on time. Thank you again!

Very good quality and price. They printed a 40 pages portfolio in one hour and looked really good.

Very happy with the service I received here. They bound my two documents within 10 minutes for a reasonable price compared to other printers in London.

There was a mix up with the orders and I was given the wrong poster. After I stressed that I had a deadline they promptly proceeded to print the correct poster. Had to wait 20 minutes for the correct print and after pressing for an explanation I was eventually given an apology. Overall however, the staff were helpful and from the looks of it all the other customers left happy. I would hope this was a one off mistake and would be willing to try them again in future.

This is not the most glamorous location or indeed shop, but the service is great. My company let me down with getting business cards printed so I had to get my own at the weekend ready for a big conference on the Monday. I sent the design by e-mail, made two lots of changes and got my cards all within a few hours. The staff were friendly and competent and the cards are of proper print-shop quality, not like the cheap ones you get from an automatic machine. Well worth the money. It's within easy walking distance from King's Cross, in a little parade of shops right at the top of Gray's Inn Road.

We came here a year ago for passport photos, we were very impressed with the quality and service. We recently needed passport photos again, so didn't hesitate to come back. Very happy with quality of the prints, great service at a very reasonable price.

Horrible place to get prints ,highly advise a different company ,I ordered numerous prints for flights and letter reference this is an example of what I got ,they charged me then didn't even notify that it was gonna be like this ,bad buissness

I went to take passport photo and print my dissertation, also to be hard cover binded. With these long working hours even in the weekend they surprised me with perfect service. Will visit again soon.

I purchased an A2 poster from them for a university project.
I tried to order online and experienced a problem with their website, but this was quickly made up by their helpfulness and quick response to my emails. It is very easy to order!
The service was very fast, my poster was ready in only 40 minutes.
My collection experience was very good. Polite staff, and I was in the shop for less than a minute!
The print quality is great, including the pictures, and I will definitely order from them again.

Very happy with my business card, I send them my design and they advised that my file seems a bit blurry, I am happy they checked because many other companies print without advising. I edited my file and it was printed in 2 hours so thank you for that.

Self-adhesive posters printed at Nevex amazing service! I was sent a sample and offered a good price and two days later I received the posters. As promised they were very easy to put on the wall and they look amazing. Highly recommended.

I had extensive customer service support from Boryana who kindly accommodated all of my specific requirements - same day printing and collection for 24 120gsm silk and 24 gloss 300gsm in black and white at 17 x 14 cm. Boryana even resized each image for me by 0.2mm when I could not myself, this was exceptional and I sincerely thank her for her assistance. I ordered by 17:30 and paid by phone, I collected the prints by 20:00. I will return, brilliant and reliable printing services in central London.

Brilliant!!! I needed some new business cards and chose Nevex because they promised a quick service and I could collect from Kings Cross. The cards were ready the same day and the price and quality were great. So much better than my usually place which is more expensive and I have to pay for postage and wait for delivery. Thanks for a fantastic service Nevex.

My A2 poster took 2 hours to print, I chose matte paper because I had to present it in front of people and I did not want shiny paper that reflects light. Loved the quality of paper Nevex offers. Definitely would recommend this place.

Needed to print a couple of documents with thermal binding on Sunday. As this was one of the few open print shops, I decided to try it. The service I received was actually good, the process was very straightforward and staff was helpful. The job was done in circa 20 minutes and the price was also reasonable in my opinion. That being said, I had a good experience, but the printing I needed was a rather simple task, so I cannot comment on other reviewers here who complained about the level of service in case of more complicated jobs. Overall, good experience for me.

I had a big deadline coming up at university and needed 50+ large & high quality prints for my portfolio, I picked Nevex after a bit of searching and being turned down by other printers and struck lucky.

Great print quality and a pretty speedy turn-around given the size of job. Andrea was beyond helpful despite the fact that I was a stressed out wreck and got everything sorted in plenty of time for my deadline.

I will certainly be using them again.

They are quite reliable. Everytime I have my business cards printed withem rhey do it same day or the next day.

This place doesn't even deserve a star, it is awful.
If your planning to get some work printed, they will add extra things and charge you for it, but also they remove some of your work and claim they haven't. The owner is completely rude and disrespectful and it outrageous to even be a business. DONT GO HERE!!!!

I've print some posters online, the quality is awesome, the guy from the staff - Petar was very helpfull, he explain me everything for the printing process on the email. I can recommend the printing services to everybody. Nevex are awesome !

We needed two sets of business cards printing in extra quick time at the end of the day for a conference the next morning. Boryana was extremely helpful and whilst we went to a local coffee shop, the team in Nevex got to work printing our cards.
They sent us a jpg to show us the finished design and an hour later (and nice latte) the emailed us again to let us know the job was ready.
The price was extremely fair and all of the staff were cheerful and helpful. I'd have no hesitation in using them again

Nevex printing services is brilliant, I honestly cannot praise them enough. I had a really good experience with them- they were fast with their emails and printed and bound my documents quickly and efficiently on high quality paper. I thank the lovely Bogdan for doing a great job! :)

Awful customer service. I needed an urgent print job and was told it would be possible. They were 45 minutes late in the end and when I went to check the printing which had been sealed into a tube I found one of the prints was quite clearly smudged.
The person who served me just smirked when I asked if I could expect a discount. Overall the printing quality was not great.

Great place to print student posters. I ordered multiple A0 posters on Saturday and they were ready to pick up on Sunday. The shop assistants were also very helpful and quick to respond to my emails. I would recommend using their service.

The roller banner they printed was very good quality, and I could pick it up next morning, it was fantastic service!

I was in the shop line for over an hour, no acknowledgement of being kept waiting. They had seriously messed up the printing of a thesis of the guy in front of me and offered no apology, and also tried to get out of giving him a refund.

Were very helpful (especially Boryana) and good prices. Surely will go there again.

Very happy with the backlit film printing we were offered. The colours came out nicely and the menu looks great on our lightbox.

Stood here waiting for 10-15 mins being ignored by staff... got fed up and left. So yeah, won't we be going there again.

Very bad service. The guy at the counter looked very annoyed when I asked for a passport photo and when he finally got around to doing it the photo looked faded and he said he couldn't do anything about it.

Really really rude staff - I went at around 12pm with PDFs to print on my memory stick. The woman was quite abrupt, telling me my files were really big. After explaining why, she said they'd be ready in 30 minutes. I agreed to come back later that evening.

When I came back, a man was alone behind the counter. He couldn't find my prints, and made the excuse that they weren't printed because I hadn't paid before I left. Firstly, I was not informed that I needed to before I left. Secondly, it's outright wrong to pay for a service before you've seen the product. He then changed this excuse, telling me my memory stick was broken (luckily it wasn't or I would've demanded compensation!), and then his excused changed again to the files being too large! He was very rude about this. When he said it would take hours, I said I could come back tomorrow, to which he said he couldn't do it and just stared at me. I asked how to make the files smaller, and he said "flatten them obviously" very abruptly and left me. He was also very rude to another person who walked in an asked for a passport photo. Instead of saying "please take a seat sir, I'll be about 5 minutes", he said " you'll have to wait". When the guy asked how long, he shrugged and said "don't know. You just have to wait" and glared at him.

The only positive is that it's open until 11, and the person that replies to emails, Boryana, was very helpful. If you've got something quick and easy to print, by all means choose this place. For anything else, avoid.

What kind of professional place couldn't refit the picture so it's centered correctly. There limited amount of professional printing machine and overpriced made me regretted going to this place. Even Tesco and Boots could have re center my picture properly. Would have gone somewhere else if, I wasn't in a hurry.

Our company has been using Nevex for more than 3 years and they have never let us down. We get our prints delivered on time even the last minute orders and the quality is always excellent.

Terrible experience, I sent over my specifications first thing in the morning and spoke with staff numerous times on the phone. After having been advised that the cards would be ready by the requested time, and that they would meet the design specifications, very close to the deadline I was informed that the business cards would not be ready in time (not even the same day) and they could not guarantee that the design and colours would match the design sent over. This was after spending a very long tome chasing for updates.

I printed my brochures with Nevex Printing in London. I needed them printed on matt paper and most of the places I found offered silk or gloss. Nevex Printing did printing on matt paper and their price was good. I placed the order in the morning and the brochures were ready in the evening. I could collect them on my way from work but I think they deliver as well. I was happy with my choice of paper and the brochure looked great.

I send an email with my draft file for a flyer I had to print in postcard size and the team checked my file, they told me what changes I have to make so it prints properly and suggested the paper. Paid over the phone and got them delivered the next day. Very prompt and professional, great customer service experience!

It was busy when I got there but the girls serving at the desk were great and I got my prints quickly.

A shame that one of the ladies on the front desk is not the best at customer service, but this is made up for by the other friendly and helpful staff and the professional service at a reasonable price. I have used this company multiple times over the last few years for coil/ spiral binding and have never come away disappointed.

I waited for 30 minutes. When it was finally my turn a simple job of scanning a few A3 documents turned out to be a 20 minute job. The employee was not very helpful and served other customers while he was supposed to help me out with my query. The quality of the scans was not great (extremely exposed). You have to pay extra if you want higher quality scans (600dpi instead of 300dpi), even though we all know that this is the same amount of work for the copyshop.
I do not recommend this shop if you want some quality work. If you are looking to print/scan something without any expectations on quality and have lots of time on your hand and don't mind the unhelpful employee this is your place to go!

I got my dissertation printed and ring-bound here and the service and speed of printing was great, with perfect quality and binding. Student discount is always appreciated too, would definitely recommend!

They charge a minimum of 3.50 pounds, even if it is just for one page. The staff were also not friendly.

They checked my files before printing and warned me about the resolution of my file being very poor. Thanks to that I managed to find a better image and replace it so that my printing came out sharp. Awesome service!
