I have lived here..peacefully..I am a quiet friendly ex-RN. There are nice neighbors like Tony,Tom,Aida,Norm,Fran&PAT(yes Pat) to name a few. Except one, my own opinion, NANCY EVELAND who is I heard(grapevine) a prison guard and Nazi...who os afraid of my service dog(shes never near him) She says he "bit" her but Animal Control investigated and no further alledged lies..I mean imcidents. Now 9mo later here we go again. He accidentally got off leash and I was in a scooter but he just folliwed me home. Nancy alleged the animal tried to get thru her patio screen..he couldnt fit if he lost 20lbs!! Hes 25
Anyway I may be the first but I wont be the last. We are 1) destroy the dog 2) rehome a 9yr old dog tovwho knows what? 3) we move but this great company for the limited aged income people put a provisional eviction on us..good luck see u on the streets. DONT RENT HERE. THEY TREAT U LIKE DIRY unless ur in the "group". Things stay broken for weeks. Ive never seen an vacant apt painted or a small carpet cleaning. The hallways smell(the pavilion) o face the courtyard and never ever seen the water changed or cleaned.
Rents cheap?? Goes up every year. All I can say is be careful who you befriend...You get what you pay for
I read a few stories on Apache Pines Reviews..
I've lived at Apache Pines Apartments for a little over 3 years. Despite my exit, I am grateful to have had a community like Apache Pines. When I was there, office staff were professional and always exhibited a passion in what they did(even the Temp. Staff). The maintenance service was phenomenal. Even on my worst days (referring to my housekeeping), they were always respectful, kind and got the job done.
We're all human, not perfect, but there's a difference in being imperfect and just plain unethical. The conduct mentioned in the reviews [SEE: Ebony Anderson's Apache Pines Review] doesn't align with Apache Pines (NEVADA HAND'S) Mission. Their conduct/unprofessional behavior shouldn't be ignored or not acted upon. They represent an Amazing Establishment and Group of People who are driven by the need of affordable housing-with the same people in mind that are being turned away with lies by staff mentioned in the Apache Pine Reviews . They'll definitely turn a good cause into a bad one, misrepresenting Nevada Hands intent to serve the people, by turning them away.
I hope action is/was taken.
I truly believe Nevada Hand goes beyond for their tenants/community; fighting for affordable housing for the low/mid income families, making it possible to live in great communities; having a recreation center in complexes such as *Apache Pines* Serves the community ALONE! Keeping those kids out of the streets, from doing things kids do when they dont have anything else to do ..before I left, they placed someone in the office to assist tenants with applying for public assistance and other resources. Apache Pines(NEVADA HAND) really does give a hand to their community, they care and their staff (EXCLUDING the staff mentioned on the reviews) exemplifies that.

I was considering moving to your new FLAMINGO PINES apts. But two things have opened my eyes to knowing I'm better off where I am. First & foremost you as property management never, never ever answer your phones. I can just imagine living there and something went wrong in my apartment. Nothing would ever get fixed. Second your true reviews by honest tenants shows me you don't take care of the residents you have now just take there money and leave them in the dark. THAT'S NO WAY TO RUN ANY APARTMENT COMPLEX ON ANY LEVEL - PERIOD!
I was living at one of there properties Located at 4375 Boulder Hwy called Boulder Pines II. I was evicted not for rent but for not being available to renew my Lease my rent was Current and my Daughter had power of Attorney. Because I was out of town in another State dealing with issues beyond my control they refused to honor the POA . My Daughter got scared moved my things out in Febuary Nevada Hand went to the Clark County Courtsand filed an bogus eviction and I was no longwr living in the unit and thete management onsite office refused to take the keys 3 times so that they could justify keeping my Security So these people are Shady as hell and corrupt
Most importantly, I appreciate Nevada HAND and I love SkyView Pines. My father was a resident and encouraged me to bring my family here. SkyView offered me an opportunity to reestablish a confident renting history and to provide a grounded foundation for my children to grow in. I can honestly remember how noticeable the difference felt from being outside our gate, to coming inside. It literally felt more secure and safe, even though at that time there were no key-only entryways and barred up mail room or the fancy security fob door thingy for the office. Which is all neat until it stopped feeling like home or like we were neighbors. I'm sure I'm not the only resident in SkyView that has felt so disconnected since the change in management at the end of 2016. There's no sincere concern for the neighborhood or neighbors by the management anymore. They truly treat us as if we make them feel unsafe or even as though we burden them. All the while offering a nod of compliance that holds no true integrity. The management here cares not for us because once their shift is over so are their false concerns. Which could potentially be relative to why work orders are 3 months backed up as of 4/27/17. If management sincerely had concern it wouldn't be this way. They used to care about the residents here, as well as the grounds, and communication. See, they pretend to listen now days. They pretend to be concerned... but they don't and they aren't. This place used to be very neighborly and homely, so like I said... I love SkyView, I respect and appreciate all of Nevada HAND totally, but something's going wrong at SkyView. The management isn't concerned for the residents anymore. Not sincerely or truthfully.
This massage is for the Vice President of Nevada

I moved Into Silver Pines on December 15, 2017. As of today December 18th 2017. I have put in 3 maintenance orders because I have no hot water and no heat. I get sick really easy and now I'm getting really sick thanks to Nevada hand. They can't seem to get their act together to fix my problem. Other issues with how i have been treated. What is wrong Nevada HAND? ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?
apply for one apartment in apache pines and the took 26 days for process my application when they should do their job in 3-5 days to approve or deny my application, then they invent amount the income extra for deny you your application and they keep the money for my application and if I want to reapply I have to repay for the process (SPAM) OR DISCRIMINATION) I have call the corporation many time but they never answer...bad experience I wasted my time and my money.. Karen and Chelsea was nice but Sonia last time was very rude to me...
Rome pines apartment have very bad management. Don't care about there disability seniors. They rent to people who bring in other people to live with them, and have several cars, leaving disabled seniors NO place to park near there apartment. And management has been informed several times and there reply was there are No assigned car stalls? Yet they ask you on your application your car and make and license number?? So you pay Rent but can't find a parking spot.
Nevada HAND is truly an exceptional organization. Below is my story and experience as a resident.
NOTE: The acronym, HAND, is housing industry term meaning "Housing and Neighborhood Development."
Here's my story.
I submitted a cash deposit to hold an apartment that I had never seen except in a brochure and floor plan drawing. This was necessary because the building was under construction and the sister property where the leasing office was located was full. Consequently, there were no models to see.
Although the management staff (VM & RW) were very courteous and professional during the qualification and leasing process, being an income and age restricted property I was still a little concerned about what the apartment would be like and how I would be treated once I moved in.
On the day that I moved into my new apartment in particular, and during the weeks and months that followed, I received one of the most exciting, uplifting, and gratifying surprises of my life. The apartment was 10 times better than I expected, the move in process was very well organized and skillfully executed by the management and maintenance team (VM, RW, & EK), and their treatment of me since then has been very respectful, responsive, and professional. Although there are no granite floors, water fountains, or marble statues here, money is spent only on the important stuff, it feels like I m living in a 55+ apartment in Beverly Hills!
My apartment, the building, and the management offices and community recreation facility are extremely well thought out and designed with state-of-the art energy and water efficient lighting, air conditioning, appliances, toilets, faucets, shower heads, windows, doors, and more.
I have been continually amazed since day one as I have discovered, or management has added, new features and services to the apartment complex. These cool features and services are too numerous to include here. And unless you are living in a similar apartment, you probably would not want to know anyway.
Having a lifelong interest in home exterior and interior design, I often thought about what features I d include in a 55 plus property after I moved into my first one several years ago. The Nevada Hand property that I am now living in (my 2nd 55+ apt) has every component that I had imagined plus much more, to my amazement, that I never considered.
The thing I like most about Nevada Hand is that it is a non-profit property management and real estate development company. Therefore, their motivations are honorable. There are no self-serving, money-grubbing property owners to deal with here. The founder of Nevada HAND (MM) must be quite an extraordinary man.
The HAND in its name is dealt in favor of its residents. :-)
An extremely grateful Nevada HAND - WP2 resident,
Brad S
Discriminatory and prejudice against Section 8 participants. Deceitful. I have Section 8 and have tried to apply for available apartments multiple times. My paperwork was accepted then dismissed, and I never heard from them again. I've been lied to and mislead repeatedly. They don't have to worry about me ever again. My current landlord will be happy to have me another problem free 3 years.
I WAS FRAUDED & BURGLARIZED BY NEVADA HAND SENIOR HOUSING SITE IN LV NV 89101 FROM LATE 7/2014-9/2014. THERE WAS/IS NEVER ANY CAFFREY (MY MAIDEN NAME) WITH NEVADA HAND/HandOfNevada ANYWHERE AND A "LEE" NEVER WAS/NEVER IS A CAFFREY.
NEVADA HAND/HandOfNevada, FROM 7/2014, ARE AMONG THE MANY GUILTY OF WILLFULLY, WITH MALICE, MALYSIOUSLY AGGREVATING, STALKING, HACKING, STEALING ETC THE ID'S I REPRESENT (SEE MY TWITTER @IAMONLYCAFFREY) & MY INHERTANCES.
NEVADA HAND/HandOfNevada LV NV, WITH THEIR RTCSNV MEDI-COACH DRIVERS ETC, CONTRACTORS, MAINTANCE, OTHER APT RENTERS, CONTRACTORS OF OTHER SERVICES (INCLUDING THEIR FURNITURE ETC MOVERS, BELAIR INTERNET & PHONE ETC) ARE ALSO AMONG MANY GUILTY OF WILLFULLY, WITH MALICE, MALYSIOUSLY, STILL AGGREVATING STALKING, HACKING, STEALING ETC ID'S I REPRESENT (SEE MY TWITTER @IAMONLYCAFFREY) & MY INHERTANCES(STILL BEING STOLEN, NONE RECOVERED YET).
I WAS TOLD NEVADA HAND/HandOfNevada MAIN OFFICE WAS AT "THE WILLOWS" IN TOWN CENTER MALL, IN LV NV 89119, WHICH WAS/IS A LIE.
It sure would be nice if the maintenance people at Rochelle Pines would take their breaks in their break rooms and not the TV room so the tenants could watch their shows.
Maintenance is lazy you ask for something it takes them months to get to it if they ever do. Everyone I've talked to that has moved from here has gotten a bill from them for things they should have taken care of themselves.
Horrible Management, Does not deal with issues; and oh yea if you have loud neighbors they will do nothing unless they hear it or the police is involved; They don't mind people breaking leases
I recently just moved to Nevada. I have tried contacting a few of Neveada Hand s properties to find out about availability but never get an answer. I tried calling the corporate office and no one answers there either. Why have a company or properties if no one is ever willing to help or answer the phone.
