Love the Nevada co fair. It's always a great time and always in the shade. Treat street is amazing .foot long corn dog was so good and the kiddie rides were a lot of fun. Recommend buying the wrist band for rides as you will get more bang for your bucks.
Wonderful peaceful place to walk, paved paths, or to attend functions! Plus a camp ground and pond.
Nevada County Fairgrounds is great, open all year it is very convenient located near hwy 40 & hwy 20. The staff are friendly and professional. Very relaxed & pretty with a little lake and local wildlife. Highly Recommend a visit.
What a beautiful day we had at the fair. 1st time there and it was great. Can't wait till next year.
I love our fairgrounds! So much room and beautiful area. My pup loves his walks there.
Great traditional county fair. I was particularly impressed with the many area's set up where a family could sit in a shady space created to rest or have your own picnic or quiet time. Some had free activities set up for children like a little craft or game. Everyone looked chilled out & very having a great family time. The exhibits were really interesting and well set up. I loved the model railway...wow.
Best fair in the state! I like the foothills. I live in the foothills with Grass Valley 40 minutes away. The Nevada County Fairgrounds is among the tall pines and so much cooler than the valley. They have good music, nice exhibits and demostrations. The only thing the Cal State Fair has on this one is name entertainment... that's it. They even have a great Christmas fair.
It's beautiful tall trees and clean park, very quiet at night, the camp host does an awesome hub at keeping any unwanted guest out, makes it very safe and friendly, $$$
