My wife and I (we) bought a Neilcorp Construction home last August. We had hoped for earliest occupancy date possible, with no binding commitments from Neilcorp. The construction started early November and finished April 25 2019. One of the dirtiest winters in recent time. The result was a near perfect home (minor cosmetic adjustments).by the full Neilcorp team which includes all trades. We have built two homes ourselves. We know of what we speak. Outstanding performance by Neilcorp . Thank you all at Neilcorp.
Our home is currently being built and to be done June 2020. Neilcorp is amazing! Tanya went above and beyond answering questions and being so helpful. My wife and I went to look for new builds, and their staff is exceptionally customer-oriented, knowledgeable, attentive and focused. Their sample home depicts how their houses are and will quickly persuade you in their direction. Their builds are functionally beautiful.
The result is we bought a new build from one of their new communities. We are looking forward to moving into our newly built home :)
We have been in our Neilcorp Home for eight years. Their after market service and attention to home owner concerns is second to none. Their trades people are friendly and helpful. Would do business with them again.
We moved here 2 years ago and Almonte and our home are both lovely. The sales women however did not give us accurate information about future building plans. Our original land plot backed onto a forest which was one our the main if not the only selling feature of this home. We were told they would not be developing the land behind our home for 7 years.
Not even a year in we came home from work to see the forest completely gone. As of now there are 2 full streets behind our home. This is a MAJOR disappointment .
As a first time homebuyer this is extremely disheartening to be lied to. Seems as though they just wanted to make the sale.

My parents just moved in to their new home built by Neilcorp Homes and it is absolutely perfect! It was a stretch, but we found only a single item for their Tarion 30 Day Warranty. I have bought several homes in the past and find that 30 items, a few of which are major is typical of a new build. Also, I have never seen such craftsmanship in a kitchen and the seem required of the countertop could not have been more perfect. I think someone in their organization possesses a trade secret on this :)
