Miss the old centre & workers .The new workers let anyone behind the kitchen .workers favoritism .cant pick movie .

The Neighbour Centre is a vital and important place in the old strathcona area.Everyone is welcome.The hours of operations will change every May 1st to summer hours 1 to 4 pm mon to fri .Winter hours of mon to fri 2 to 8 pm sat and sun 2 to 5 pm come into effect after labour day.

No they do not, "Put up with alot of street people, drunks, and drug addicts", and anyone who feels this way is there for the wrong reasons.

The Neighbour Center saves the lives of the homeless and people living in poverty for a variety of reasons like, mental health, victims of abuse, and periods of assessment for financial aid due to injury or family crisis...not just addiction issues.

The staff and volunteers are awesome. They provide a comforting atmosphere that I'm certain has saved many lives, including my own.
It's not just an escape from the elements, but a place to escape loneliness, feel safe, and heal the soul.

If you're reading this and are in need, it's not hard, and there's nothing to fear.
Walk in, talk to the cuties at the door, eat good food, drink good coffee, lose at cribbage to one of the many sneaky Charlie Browns, play some piano or guitar if you got skills, relax, and have a good time.

You are not alone, and people care about your health and well being.

I consider it like home the gorgeous women that work here actually care about myself and the street people that frequent this place

I ran into some filmilar faces, the staff was very friendly,warm and welcoming. They answered all my questions and made it a point to check in on me, which made me feel special. There was even a bus to take those who needed a ride. It was a very positive experience overall.

The food is great ...movies are great and so is the staff!

Friendly staff, they have to put up with alot of street people, drunks dug addicts, I volonteered time in the kitchen preparing meals and cleaning.

Offers........ the illusion of help. Staff are nice but still promoting the Eminem lie and the mistreatment of native people and naive people (disabled) by siding with corporate owners and liars who don't want to give equal chance to everyone, only their "best gay friends".

It's a adult drop in, the staff there are helpful in more ways than one

Can't find a better place to be. The staff are top grade attitudes. Love being there. They take care of you" food laundry and movies to watch. Damn you can take showers also. Love visiting them. If i could give more stars 10 or 20 more. They deserve it. Thank you Mustard Seed. Your the best.

I've been attending the Neighbour Centre for about 4-5 months. The staff are friendly and kind...but more importantly, genuine. They will sit down, play cards, or just chat if you need someone to talk too. They try very hard to make the centre a safe environment for the community. A fight broke out the other day... and both guys were asked to leave, the staff were extremely professional and did not react to insults being thrown at them. Only recommendation would be that they fix their laundry machines.

Did not go inside. But surely a great place for help with the city's less fortunate. Please drop off a donation .thank you Edmonton

this place really went down hill after they changed from winter hours charging for food
