I was given a bill from 6 months ago after they delayed my billing and said it was my fault, since they didn't bill my correct insurance. I will never return!
My words will not ever be enough to say Thank you to all the staff that helped me in ER, to getting my blood drawn, back to the cat scan area, and Doctors and Nurses with getting my diagnosis (appendicitis) and then getting admitted right away and up to the 5th floor nurses and surgery and then up to 6th floor - you are all amazing and I appreciate you at the highest level - you are the absolute best.
I had surgery in November. The doctor did a very poor job. I still am unable to walk correctly. On top of that, the doctor has "Disappeared". I have had to see a different doctor that seems to think it is OK - I still can't walk. The outpatient surgery was well over $40,000! I have been harassed repeatedly by Methodist to pay off this bill NOW!. Yes, I have insurance that left a balance of over 2400, combined with the cost for physical therapy. I have paid each and every month, but continue to get harassing phone calls from the finance department! Received another call today about another $286 balance that is due to doctor visits! It is never-ending. What bothers me the most - I have paid every bill with methodist over the last 30 years!!!! I have never not paid a bill IN FULL!!!!!!
To make it worse, I need another surgery, but am not allowed to have this surgery because I have not paid the current balance! This is terrible!!!! My son went to an the "other" facility in Omaha and they are working with him to pay off his bill. They have been kind and understanding that not all of us have thousands to pay IMMEDIATELY!!!!
I would like a response from someone about this and not someone from your finance department asking me AGAIN when will I be able to pay! If you do not like the way I am paying this off, quit cashing my checks each and every month! Send it to collections. That way you will receive half of what I owe and the collection agency will get the other half! That does not seem like good business to me! ! I pay my bills!
Unbelievable that they are so rude as to have a computer generated message call to ask you to contact them at their business office. I should send them back a computer generated response.
The staff , nurses , & Doctors
Were and are wonderful with my husband & family in a very stressful and trying time.
Have nothing but upmost appreciation
Thank You From the George Friend Family
I love Methodist Hospital. I hated being in the hospital, but if you have to be there they do make it tolerable. All of nurses and nurse techs were awesome. Dr. Omar is truly the most amazing physician I have ever had.
After speaking with Sarah in the billing office, she was able to explain the differences in accounts and set up a payment plan to make sure my payments don t go towards the bills for the motor vehicle accident I ve been in.
She was able to tell me that the motor vehicle incurable claim # was in the file, and differentiate the different accounts.
The ER nurses and physicians were very unprofessional during a very trying time for our family.
Apparently the entire Methodist Health system has 3 dermatologists in the Omaha area. Three falls far short of the number they need to service the metropolitan area. One is on extended leave which is fine, but when you cannot get an appointment when you have a serious issue and are basically told to call somewhere else, that is unbelievable. I have been a patient within the Methodist system for 24 years, low maintenance person, but I need help now and was told, sorry, can't help you! Actually told me to call a different practice....so I guess I'm switching doctors and Health Systems!
I would give zero stars if I could. Sarah the supervisor in the customer service department was extremely unhelpful and interrupted me repeatedly after Methodist made a horrible billing mistake and sent my account to collections as I was actively making monthly payments. Methodist will send you to collections even as you re making the minimum monthly payments and also take payments from your account even after they send you to collections. Don t call for help, their only supervisor Sarah will be rude & wont help at all & will make things worse for Methodist and yourself. Save yourself the trouble and learn from my mistakes-avoid Methodist and go to CHI health instead.
Good doctor, horrible billing. I have been trying to get my bill corrected for 4 months. It is "still under review". My experience has been that they care a lot more about money than fairness in billing and care for the patient. A billing system that everyone gets a different price depending on insurance, etc is not right. Actions speak loader than words. I finally gave up today and paid the full amount. They won.
They fixed me!!! They worked with me financially & ultimately were most concerned with & did help me. Forever grateful. Thank you.
I had right hemicolectomy for colon cancer on November 30th at nebraska methodist. I had the best care the whole time on 6th floor oncology. the nurses are angels! love this hospital!

I've been a patient at Methodist for over 40 years, but their billing system and care has proceeded to get worse and worse. I've spent the last 6 months trying to get my bill corrected from my last annual physical. You think it'd be a simple matter. But after Methodist confirmed they incorrectly coded 2 different items related to my visit, you think I could get the bill corrected? 8 phone calls and 6 months, and it's still not resolved. #tiredofdealingwithMethodist
