By changing and limiting the 2020 Flounder season, this part of N.C. government has ruined the recreational fishermans rights to catch one of the top species in the state. Hopefully, and I see that the decision makers on the board are female and possibly Democrat, and hopefully in a "voted in" position. This change is going to cost the state millions of dollars as many fiserman are already going to other states spending money on a yearly fished species. There is NOT a shortage of any flounder in the state or other nearby states. Whoever made these changes should resign or be fired immediately along with the supporting staff! If they do not resign, they should be voted out!
