Crappy place to live, they want you to do everything ASAP but want to do everything whenever they feel like it. Said I had to replace a blind within 48 hours or make a money order so they can replace it and it had to be turned in within 48 hours. I have a toddler that bent a piece and they took a whole week to come replace it but MY money had to be turned in within 48 hours. BTW lots of roaches seen about 30 on the day I moved in
If your inspection sticker goes out, you'll be toed with a warning you need to go get from the post office. The customer service is great with the one of the managers, but the other is really rude all the time. If something breaks down, it gets fixed in a quick fashion. The pool for some reason is closed...for repairs and has been closed for a year now. Its cheap to live here, but they are raising the cost, so we will probably move soon.
This is the worst place I ever lived in! Two weeks after we moved in the foundation started falling apart! All the walls were cracking causing mess such as dust and sheet rock particles all over my furniture and clothes.. there was a constant leak from central air into bathroom number 2 causing rust and slimy stuff in bath tub. Also caused a leak into the closet which ruined our clothes nd shoes and caused mold to grow on our personal belongings.. None of the doors would close or lock especially back door because of the foundation. Apartment was infested with German roaches, spiders and and scorpions! Made many complaints and instead of the manager sending an exterminator they would go into my apartment when I wasn't there and spray everything with raid including my daughter's medicine's nd our dishes and food. I told her several times that I didn't appreciate that because I am pregnant and got extremely ill from the raid. Dishwasher, ice maker or garbage disposal never worked. Manager nd all her family live and work in these apartments. I do not recommend these apartments!!
First of all if you are thinking about moving in these apartments think again. If you enjoy hatred towards you unfairness or like dealing with difficult people then this is the place for you. The staff here Connie and Belinda that are currently still employed here which i find very surprising, are rude, hate other people other than friends and family, unfairness, has both parents as maintenance as workers, brothers, cuzins, sisters, you name it living there, give favor to people who live there longer than you if you have problems with someone. When i was living there i had stuff thrown on my car multiple times they didn't care to do anything about because they have no cameras. don't care about families as they say they do. telling me i need to keep my 2 year old to stop playing because its disturbing the people down stairs in broad day light. Charged me $1700 for carpet replacement when it was basic ware and tare, how are you going to keep carpet clean from day one with kids IMPOSSIBLE. Had to call the police multiple times there on the person down stairs for banging on there ceiling. They did have a on site police office there which didn't do much. Don't get me wrong love the area the apartment are very nice great location out of the way of all the traffic but that staff has to go they took over the complex and has to be exposed for there wrong doing to people. They shouldn't even deserve one star. I advise everyone if you use to live there, currently live there or even just made a simple phone call and you didn't like the way they talked to you, if you experience wrong doing? Look up Alpha Barns that is there main head quarters tell them what you experience and hopefully they do the right thing and investigate whats going on there.
Their problem is not with African Americans or Hispanics it's with everyone. I'm White and I went in to apply for one of these apartments and I made enough money to qualify also had my dads income, she said we didn't qualify we didn't make enough money and when we added our incomes up we asked her how was it not enough, she didn't know how to do math and when we both told her no matter what way she figured it our income totals what she said we needed to qualify for living there. And she got angry and told us "Get out of the office you don't qualify"
Connie the manager of this apartment complex has parties all the time is constantly drinking and with neighbors which is extremely unprofessional. She has her whole family living there and is extremely rude. She has got into it several times with other residents and has her friends and family from the complex write letters for her stating that the resident is the problem and not her so she will not get in trouble. Management really needs to look into this. It's outrageous and I would definitely never refer anyone to this complex.
The front 2 ladies. Belinda and Conney are very rude and very unprofessional. They never answer the phones and they will find any little thing to write you up or kick you out. I couldn't even have my WET mop on my patio to dry without getting a notice on my door.
Dont usually comment bad things, but the management is very rude. It's only my daughter and I that live here and are not home very often, but have had the worst experience with the staff. It's all run by one family and they all live on property. I'm not sure if discrimation but they lack common manners . Im glad to be moving out in less than two weeks.
I never sit and just read reviews on items like this because it is usually disgruntled ex residents but, I needed to comment. My wife, myself, and, our daughter have lived here in 2 different apartments for over 5 years. We have never received nothing but respect from the staff here. There was at one point, not so long ago, an employee who was not doing their job and is now gone. I honestly don't care if someones whole family lives here. They don't bother you, we have never had a problem with items getting fixed, and yes sometimes a minor problem will get pushed back but that is because of more pertinent problems at hand. We moved from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom and were only charged the cost of 2 blinds. I knew this before hand because some of the blinds had broke, no biggie he had been in that apartment for 4 years. Other then that we got our full deposit. When we moved in our daughter was 4. We kept our home clean and didn't cause problems. If you pay your rent, don't cause problems, and, follow the few rules they have there will not be any problems. Please read this come in and make your own decision.
Management was horrible went to get information on a apartment that we had saw on Craigslist she immediately just asked for proof of income so we gave her pay stubs she walked away she came back after she was being extremely rude to someone by hanging up on them and told us we made $ 50 to much and told us to leave

I went in just to get information on the apartments and possibly tour them and the lady at the front desk was VERY rude to me. I of course continued to be nice, but I will never recommend this place or return to visit again. I can't believe how disrespectful she was.
The grounds looked really nice and well kept I can say that, but that wasn't worth it.
The management are threaten and make accusations. I will not be renewing my lease.
The management is verbally abusive and unhelpful. They are rude and make up their own rules as they go along. The managers family lives here so having a run in with any of them reflects on your place of dwelling.
The manager is very harassing and always has a bad attitude never friendly. I feel I can never approach her about anything without negative reprehend. she very critical and not helpful. They're always in and out of the apartment so you can never have your privacy.
I never let my kids play outside because the management always has something to say while the management does whatever whenever they want. They throw parties, play loud music and play volleyball in the pool when tenants are present. The rule is we are only allowed one-two guest in the pool area and the manager has her whole family in there. I would advice you not to rent here until they change the management situation.
I called a couple days before going in to get an application and the lady never mentioned what I had to being in before applying. So I drove out there and she said I needed everything check stubs ect . So I drove back home go back to have her tell me I don't qualify. She never greeted me never smiled . I don't even know her name because she never introduced herself. Horrible customer service. You would think she could inform you over the phone before taking time out of day. All I know is she was a lady that had a stick up her ass balding and wore fake lashes with a nasty tounge piercing to top it off. Beautiful complex horrible staff.
We called Belinda thru our cellphone with question about leases. She informed my wife that there was a 2 bedroom apartment available. We decided to go into office to apply but she was really rude .You would think she would offer us a seat at least ,but no. We left and had more question so we called 2 more times.Our call was not being answered.I told my wife she was probably ignoring us so we decided to call thru our work phone....and guess who answered Belinda. I understand work might be tough but at least have the courtesy to answer calls.
I've lived at these apartments for a few years now and I love them. The location is great and they're very spacious. If i need something fixed the maintenance man fixes it right away. But I will agree with one thing with the person below me. The property managers are very racist and rude. I thought it was just me that they had a problem with but i guess they really are racist. I dont do anything and she wouldnt let me renew my lease. I had to threaten her that I was going to report to housing authority about having her son living there without being on the lease and other things that shouldnt be going on. Thats when she let me renew it for only 6 months. My lease is about to end at the end of this month and im wondering is shes going to let me renew it again. If not the threatening is going to happen again and i will actually report her this time. It not fair that they treat hispanics and african americans the way they do. If theyre so racist they picked the wrong side of town and wrong apartment complex to work at. But other than THAT they're great place to live at!!
I have read these reviews and I absolutely feel like these are disgruntled ex residents who probably had charges for messed up apartments and don't want to pay them. This property is very clean, the pool is open during the summer and they do have a tow policy but that is to keep the property looking nice so there arent' run down cars sitting there. The staff isn't rude or racist, you can tell that by the types of people that live there. They had coffee and water in the office that they offered me when I did my application. You have to bring your income in because it is restricted so you need to ask these questions when you call. It is a quiet place, no parties or loud music, and the rules they have are so that the place looks nice, it's not nice to leave all kinds of trash on your patio and stuff, that looks trashy. All of this stuff is put in the community policy you sign with your lease and if you didn't like it you shouldn't have moved here, ALL apartments have rules. I feel like it is a safe and quiet environment for me and my kids. Oh and I've been in the office when the phone is ringing and they try and answer every call without ignoring the people in the office.

The office staff has the most terrible people in the world. The apartment complex's leasing office was broken into and many residents' money orders got stolen and the hateful ladies in the office told us it was our fault for dropping the rent into the drop box. They expected us to pay the rent (669) a 2nd time. Who the heck has that money to pay for their mistake. So we decided to wait til we got reimbursed by the money order company in order to pay the rent. Then we ended up having to move after our lease was up because I got a job in another city and I cleaned my apartment so well it took about 5 days to make it almost spotless. I'd like to mention we put about 700 dollars deposit before moving in and the office staff charged us all the 700 plus another 1000 dollars. Thats a total of 1700 dollars for one apartment. This is the worst place I've ever lived. I've lived in many apartments in town and I have never had a problem with any of them. We have always gotten our deposits back for everytime at these other apartment complexes. Don't move there you'll end up regreting it.
OMG these lady's are so rude! Brace yourself walking in their they don't greet you, they don't smile, they had me waiting in the lobby for 15min (even thou they knew i was in their) before talking to me, they made me go through ridiculous obstacles to put an application. I even caught this Belinda lady rolling her eyes at me! Somebody needs to complain about them to a higher office. The apartments are very nice and spacious thou, just need way better management.
Wanting to lease here but so far the few times iv called to get info "Connie" I believe is her name is very rude and doesn't like giving out info I guess..

I like these apartments my granddaughter use to live there back on 2007.im looking for a one bedroom for me n my husband .
I have been here a year and absolutely love it, clean, No problems with pests. Some complain about roaches, well if you keep your apt clean after the pest control there should be no problem. Have had no problems with getting things fixed, only thing was no hot water in the shower but it got taken care of the same day. The manager and the staff have been nothing but polite. Of course there are rules everyone has to abide by and some don't like being told they need to follow. It's a very quiet complex and of course you will have those noisey neighbors especially if you live downstairs but they are quickly notified and reminded of the 10pm quiet time. Most people living here work all day or retired and expect to come home to a quiet place unwind and relax. Other than that it's a safe quiet place to live. Love it, just renewed my lease.
