Navajo is a bad place to work. Any company more concerned about how long an employee works for a company ... than their driving record has this concern because they know good drivers won t work there. A good driver Will not take abuse and will quit

And of course management will give them selves great reviews but then you read a lot of one pointers and two pointers were the real drivers are complaining about the way they re dispatched or the way they re treated

Some companies are so bad that their public stock gets downgraded ( this is what happened recently with a mega carrier), some companies threaten and abuse Drivers This is their way of Doing business. The government has passed laws protecting Drivers from being forced to work too long by tyrannical companies ... for example, check out FMSCA and Driver coercion. This law punishes the company and not the driver when the company repeatedly asked the driver to break the hours of service ... at any rate it s a new dawn for drivers stay away from companies that are abusive

We booked a shipment with Navajo Express. The shipment was supposed to pick up on 6/20/2019 between 19:00-20:00 and deliver the next day 6/21/19 at 15:00. We emailed the broker asking to pick up the load on 6/21 in the morning, and deliver direct, or on Saturday 6/22 due to our driver running out of hours on 6/20. The broker (McKenzie) agreed, sent over a revised agreement, and stated that we can pick up on 6/21 and deliver direct. Even in the new rate con she sent over, it states the driver needs to run illegally (impossible times). When we asked by what time we can deliver on Friday, and if Saturday is an option McKenzie stated that the load must deliver 6/21 at 18:30, and Saturday was not an option. After we explained that the driver cannot do this due to not enough hours to complete this trip, McKenzie started to state that we don't know the hours of service, and that they run 1,200 trucks driving in the rocky mountains, and she knows what she's talking about. The driver clearly stated he can't do this, and McKenzie is asking our driver to drive illegally, and not honor the HOS. She ultimately took the load off of us, but not respecting our drivers concerns, she ended up issuing a complaint on Carrier411 that we are not an ethical company, and are committing fraudulent activity. I will not jeopardize any of my drivers' lives to get a load delivered and neither should any of you. Safety is our biggest concern, and I am extremely concerned how Navajo pushes their fleet to drive illegally. This is an ethical issue, and this needs to be addressed to their team. Navajo's employees clearly lack knowledge of the HOS, and have very little respect to the drivers who risk their lives on a daily basis. This is a shame since when you call them their greeting states "...everything we do begins and ends with safety so we can keep our drivers and the moving public safe." No amount of money can replace the life of a driver, nor the safety of the public. There are too many accidents due to driver fatigue, and not obeying the HOS. We will not endanger the public, nor put a drivers life at risk. I have issued a complaint to the FMCSA. Hopefully they will give them a full inspection, and then Navajo can better educate their employees.

I am currently working on a load for this company and it has been a nightmare since the loading time. They DO NOT answer their phones nor reply any email; I can only guess how the payment process will go. If you are a carrier, DO NOT accept working with them for your own good.

Just had a run in with a very hot headed driver of this company at the intersection in Hudson by the loves. Pulled rite out in front of traffic causing vehicles in both directions to hit their brakes. Just shook my head and he proceeded to stop and scream at me like he owned the road. Not very professional

Any you to say Navajo takes good care of their drivers? They don't care about their drivers, don't let them make money, micromanage like you are idiots, low miles, GPS PROBIBITED, NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE, only communicates through Qualcomm, recaps constantly, blowing, cheap charging system on trucks so batteries die constantly, can't idle for heat until 36 degrees or AC until 80 . Personnel treats driverslike a deplorable. Last and worst, if you go through your settlement sheet, you will catch them cheating you of pay.

Do you have to defend your paycheck. They will give you lots of reasons why you get deductions.

Drove for 6 months did all 48 states as an otr got the short runs 200 -250 a week. twice have a made 900. Late on home time even though given 2 weeks advanced notice. 3 xtimes in a row. After sitting a week on a load in the truck Went broke driving the truck. Turned in my truck no damages to rig waiting on my last check for over a week now. My truck was 3221 otr. I was told it would be in the mail. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK because the payroll happens to be on vacation. The only good I got out of this company was time behind the seat and sitting on a dock for 6 to19 hours straight

Booked a load with Navajo, received rate confirmation did not agree to terms, called agent back at Navajo to cancel. Time line of this happening (15min) Never signed the Rate Confirmation as I stated we never accepted the terms. Navajo went to carrier 411 and made strong False allegations against Emirate Express LLC stating that we 1. NO SHOW NO CALL 2. CANCELLED AFTER ACCEPTING LOAD 3. FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY 4. UNETHICAL OR DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES. Which all of these allegations are false.
Contact Edmond support manager to get his issue resolved as his company has made legal criminal allegations against Emirate, which he stated he agrees with his representative and that I can dispute on carrier 411. I asked Mr. Edmond to get a good phone # and Name of whom my attorney can get in touch with in regards to all the false allegations and slanders he has brought against Emirate, he stated he has been threatened many times with the Attorney and for me to have a nice day and hang up.
This Broker practices business of force full, pushy, deceptive, unethical. They feel they are entitle over law and regulations.
I would strongly recommend not booking a loads with this company.

A very lazy and unprofessional driver in truck 819001, on 07/30/19 around 2:50 pm at the Pilot in Des Moines, IA, he parked his truck on the Catscale which is located very close to the store, and he's not even using the Catscale, he just parked there to go inside the store for a good 10 minutes plus, very lazy and inconsiderate.

Avoid working with this broker at all costs unless there s no other loads available. They will lowball you, provide incorrect appointments, then leave you sitting on a load for god knows how long with their joke of a detention policy. They know what they re doing, and they have zero respect for drivers who want to keep it moving. Their customer pays them $70-80 an hour for detention while you only get $25-30/hr after 3 hours.

God forbid you don t answer one of their check up calls and they will strong arm you with a freight guard report and deduct money for petty things off your rate.

Lied to, ripped off by several departments. The maintenance was non existent for the trucks I drove. My steering was so bad, I called safety on it only to get thrown in an old POS truck I HAD TO REPAIR. Only to find out they put another driver in the one before.
They owe me for hundreds in oil and parts THAT WAS APPROVED, a full day of daycab work their "Jordan" day cab mgr assigned me.
Just go somewhere else, anywhere but there.
