A place not to be missed if you go to Boulogne, magnificent creatures to see for breathtaking aquariums.
A place not to be missed if you go to Boulogne, magnificent creatures to see for breathtaking aquariums.
Magnificent overall, superb giant pool. But unfortunately very brown corals in the first part of the visit. We also deplore the size of the living spaces of penguins and sea lions.
Super resort based on oceanographic life, but not only. To discover or to rediscover. A visit not to be missed when you come to Boulogne / mer
The aquarium is nice to visit but not exceptional. Several animations but apart from the line the aquarium is not very interesting! I don't think it is the most beautiful in Europe compared to the La Rochelle aquarium is much more beautiful! Finally all this is a story of taste!
AMAZING....we thought it was going to a he or 2 outing we spent 6 hrs in here. The amount of information, pictures, fish and other sea animals was amazing. The kids has the best day out and they learnt so much. At first we thought the price was a bit to much but it's 109% worth the price. Just make sure you go into each area as they are not well sign posted and. An easily be missed
Nice setting, many many fishes and more, for old and young! Best in the morning
A beautiful place for young and old. The new spaces proposed are impressive. A nice visit
Pretty crowded. You have to wait a long time everywhere, at the security check, when buying the tickets and even when paying for the parking ticket. It is generally very nice, but you can see almost nothing because someone is constantly standing in front of the aquarium. And all in all actually too expensive. As were three of us and have paid over 70 euros.
I love beautiful exposure for both young and old. Really you can go there without hesitation.
This aquarium deserves its status as the largest aquarium in Europe. There is 3 "exhibition" which allows to discover all the facets of our oceans. Here, no big shows. Everything is simple, but well organized. We could see a great variety of animals: sea turtles, sharks, rays, sea lions, penguins, etc ... Very easy to find in the city center of Boulogne sur Mer. It takes around 4-5 hours to make it tower. Both didactic and fun for children, several workshops highlight the consequences of man on the climate and the marine environment. A very nice getaway.
Beautiful aquariums with beautiful specimens.
The employees are nice.
But in case of affluence, we choke quickly.
Too bad the show in the outdoor pool can not be seen by all.
Very beautiful aquarium! The extension has been well thought out (thematic).
It's spacious, soothing (except when there are school children).
Friendly, helpful staff ...
The site is very clean, clear explanations. Fun games and animations.
My 3 year old daughter loved it. The 4 hours passed very quickly!
Many species, mega aquarium. Perfect for wandering around for 3 hours! Press with a reason
It is a beautiful place with such a variety of fish and other marine animals all there is wonder
Very interesting especially for children. Great biodiversity. You should plan 3-4 hours.
An amazing place. One of the best sealife places you'll find.
Really very nice although at times there is a glaring lack of fish, especially in the large pool.
Other than that there is a great time to spend with the family.
The large bay window is just spellbinding.
Already visited the old nausicaa 'very happy with the new pool! Really beautiful !
Disappointed...
I wanted to see this aquarium after seeing the photos of Map and I was very disappointed ...
The tunnel and the large basin are the apotheosis of the site but apart from that ... not enough well presented small aquariums,
Especially, in these times of pandemic, impossible to respect the distances. Why do we reserve then?
When at the "Shores of the World" exhibition, not very intuitive signage and movement with a stroller or a complicated wheelchair (same for the other exhibition)
I remember another aquarium, the one in Biarritz, which cost me the same price but where I took great pleasure.
It might be good to take inspiration from it ...
In summary a beautiful packaging but the interior does not follow. We can ignore it.
The proposed educational path is rich and varied with beautiful architectural scenes. On the other hand, I did not notice any cephalopod congeners ... It is because captivity does not please them very much!
For me it was unfortunate, the aquarium propaganda says that tickets are bought online and reach email, but after paying the tickets never came and I just lost time and money. A sadness because there is no one to complain to. Unfortunately for me, perhaps others have had better luck.
We had a lovely afternoon at Nausicaa. The huge pool that has been built is impressive and worth a visit!
The fish are beautiful
Too bad there is not 1 explanatory sign under each aquarium!
If you like the sea do not hesitate to go to nausicaa
Beautiful aquarium. We take full eyes !! It takes about 4 / 5h to visit it. Restaurant and snack bar inside. Coffee drinks and snacks dispenser Picnic area in the aquarium. Lockers but limited during the covid period. . Gel dispenser throughout the visit. Free parking spaces nearby.
Except the big PB to leave the pay parking with the barrier that refused to get up and caused a big cork the place is pleasant
Nice place to walk around with the kids for a few hours.
Close minute deposit and parking in the direction of the Casino
Magnificent aquarium, remarkable scenography!
The only downside: the supervisors are too lax and let groups of children (young and old) kick the glass walls with their feet!
Tip: buy entrance tickets online, and visit preferably during quiet periods.
Very nice aquarium, with many species. The only downside is too many people. Impossible to be able to make barrier gestures.
Beautiful aquarium and exhibitions. We went after 18:00 and the aquarium was super quiet.
We loved discovering new species of fish and more. We will return with great pleasure.
Very beautiful aquarium, the visit of the big pool is rather fast, but we take full eyes! Superb outing for young and old!
Having known the old aquarium, I am disappointed and nostalgic .... a shame not to have an extension and to have closed the old
Super aquarium, the new exhibition is truly an underwater journey.
4 * because it lacks the signs indicating the species that we observe.
We really enjoyed this moment with the family
I share in 4 minutes my visit to Nausicaa Boulogne sur Mer on my youtube account here is the title "the largest Aquarium in Europe Nausicaa".
beautiful but far too many people to see, circulate
Nice to do with the family. Some things (like movies) are much the same. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Magnificent
To do and redo with pleasure
Pleasant visit but expensive price for the service and an additional addition to see three penguins and a 4 D film
Everything is perfect ! The diversity of fish and other animals, information boards, directions, employees, catering on site. Parking too. In short, a great day with the kids!
Fabulous aquarium, very nice work done by the Nausicaa team.
Congratulations to you !!! I recommend you
Great place to see sharks, sea lions and various species of fish at zero distance
A unique and exceptional place! Despite the crowds, the visit is well organized, we have time to stay to understand and admire the universe of the seas in this superb place, you will be amazed. To do, A-B-S-O-L-U-M-E-N-T.
Super impressed with a huge aquarium of 600,000 L of huge water with a variety of amazing animals go there eyes closed
Awesome and surprising places ideal walk with children
Correct but I find that we are dropped in the circuit without too much useful information ... no guide not too much explanation. Someone is missing in the tactile basin to reassure and not hesitate to touch the fish, in short, disappointed
We were disappointed ... a lot of screens compared to aquariums and a lot of malfunctions
Grandissime. To do and redo. The environments are very well explained and the aquariums are extra ordinary
Nice aquarium. Lets have a pleasant day. Attention the downside is the parking: difficult to park around; an 800-space car park has been built but a bit expensive.
Without any more not hanging at all remains very expensive to see aquariums. I thought there were shows but nothing at all .. Lack of entertainment ... Parking far and expensive too. For 2 adults and 2 children under 12 a hundred euros. For 3 hours of visit.
Simply one of the most beautiful aquariums in France (to say the most beautiful). Very informative and also educational to make us aware of the protection of our maritime environment.
Superb, very big enough to spend the day with family
Super awesome ! My daughter was so happy with stars in the eyes! And daddy had it like a kid!
Great afternoon family! The big aquarium is beautiful the kids loved it!
Truly a heavenly place. It's really worth the detour. The only downside is very complicated to find your way.
Simply magnificent trip to the heart of the oceans, given the covid not too many people. On the other hand, the prices of the surrounding car parks could undoubtedly be cheaper, because the price of entries in Nausicaa represents a significant budget.
Friendly staff. From 2:00 to 3:00 of visit. Animation with the sea lions playful and educational. Reasonable price and in adequacy with the multitude of things to discover and their originality.
Quite enough toilets, nice bar located midway.
And the possibility of caressing rays and sharks (not all and for that too we thank them).
Very well! No complaints to see absolutely. Period to avoid school holidays and rainy days where everyone arrives to flee the beach.
Great an unforgettable moment !! Go if the magic of the sea is presented.
Very noisy, beautiful aquarium but unsupervised groups extremely dissipated. When we call a guard, we are told that we must let go to find calm but difficult because there is only that. Children have fun splashing with water and soaking their hair (room not planned for that), the supervisor does not even intervene, looks and says nothing. It was my wife who had to intervene by being insulted by one of the group's facilitators on the pretext that we do not shout at the children !!!!! We understand better why there is so much mortality in fish. I am not an animal activist, but frankly, it really feels like a money factory. It's a shame for Boulogne-sur-Mer and its region already impacted by the crisis because the concept and the tool are exploited despite common sense. Regulate and accompany groups of children systematically for educational purposes. Press a little more on the environmental aspect, because a bad reputation may follow you and force you to more or less long-term decline
Staff very friendly but poorly indicated for the ride stroller / disabled
Great place to spend a great day. With the new aquarium that was built you can see all kinds of marine animals and especially a manta ray ... A must visit ...
Museum on aquatic species ... Very clean .... Very well illustrated and with some oral presentations ... Aquatic species of great beauty ... We went with our little girl of 6 years, can be a little small for the visit ... Apart from the sight of the fish, too small to be able to read all the explanations written on different supports ... Visit too long for young children ... Which brings back to say that the Price is expensive for the children ...
We were amazed by the new large 60m long pool with these many different views and all the interactivity all around allowing us to enter the underwater world. We were even able to attend a moment of feeding of certain species at the bottom of the basin by divers.
Many, far too many people. We couldn't see anything. Why does he not limit the number of people at the entrance. Shameful.
