Had an emergency glass repair for commercial storefront on Sunday. They came out within 2 hours on Sunday, took down glass and bordered window for safety. On Monday, they sent quote, it was approved and new glass over 15ft by 15ft was installed on Wed. Great service, price and workmanship.
Customer service? What's that??? I actually walked out within moments of going out of my way to patronize this particular location specifically.
It doesn't take much to figure out why so many small businesses are disappearing these days as big box companies penetrate the market and take over. The lack of concern and the poor customer service that I was provided today will have me purchasing from a competitor for a cheaper rate as well. I was treated with a lack of respect as soon as I walked through the door. There were two people waiting at the service counter on the customer side speaking with one another. A woman came from out of the back with obvious attitude asking if I needed help. I pointed out that the two individuals at the counter were there first. She snapped out that they were being helped already.
I thanked her and started to explain that I had used them in the past and was interested in purchasing some windows. Again with obvious attitude in her voice rolling her eyes and a mannerism in which I felt like I was bothering her and ruining her day she started firing off questions....
New windows or replacement? Are we installing or are you? Well, do you have any measurements or do you need someone to come to the house? At this point I was appalled, and said you know what, as she grabbed a sheet to begin taking my order.....I told her that I am obviously bothering you and I will go somewhere else.
My first visit to have glass replaced on my wood stove door was a great experience. I found the owner Lee Chevron to be both professional and experienced. He was also very down to earth in sharing and paying tribute to the previous owners. Although they specialize in many larger corporate jobs it is a great place to go for any glass work you may need.
They took very good care of me would recommend to anyone.

I have been doing business with Ken and Sue for over 20 years. They will be greatly missed. The same employees are there and the new owner communicated and was a detail guy. He knows alot about the business. They installed a new storefront for two retail stores in Waterbury. Great job.
