Wonderful church. Small church with school. Friendly members make you feel welcome. Great band plays variety of upbeat spiritual music. Pastor is very good with children and young adults and goes out of his way to serve your needs.
As a former teacher I can tell that these classrooms are set up for interactive learning and teaching those soft skills (sharing, expressing feelings, responsibility, etc) that people need as they develop into young adults. As a parent, the teachers and staff are knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and treat my kids like family! with 100+ children in the building, the staff still greet my children by name each day with smiles on their faces! My children love to come here for pre-school and I feel safe leaving them in caring hands.
Our Twins Max and Ella attended Good Shepherd for 2 years. We would not have taken them anywhere else! Highly recommend Good Shepherd. Nothing on earth could be more rewarding that having a school that enhances their life in Christ.
As parents, we so appreciate all the ways Good Shepherd helps to keep us connected and involved in special activities for the children (Art Show, Egg Hunt, Book Fair/Valentine Dinner, etc.) We value the safe, loving, fun and educational environment that we're confident will prepare our child for school and develop physically, socially, spiritually and emotionally. Great teachers that prepare children for school in a loving and nurturing environment teaching values based on the Fruit of the Spirit. Center hours are great for working parents schedules. Our two children went here and we have so many wonderful memories from the Wedding of Q and U, the Christmas pageant and special times with Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad. Our children made lasting friendships and as parents we made friends here that continue to blossom and grow.
