Great tour guides and really beautiful grounds. Go...
Great tour guides and really beautiful grounds. Good price too! Do not wear warm clothes, the caves are actually really humid and warm.

Lots of fun. A pretty good walk through a warm and humid cavern. Really cool to see all the subterranean formations.
Staff was very knowledgeable about the caverns. Lines were long but moved very quickly. The maze was awesome! Zipline was okay
Great for kids and adults alike. Guides are always really enthusiastic and informative
Beautiful caves with lots of wonderful natural formations to see. We did the discovery tour which was less than a mile long and took us about an hour. Inside the caves there are your guides in each room that tell interesting facts about the caves and the room. There are a lot of fun things to do outside the caves as well. They have some games, ziplining and many gift shops. Overall, a fun place to hangout if you are visiting San Antonio for a few days. You can spend 2-4 hours here and it costs about $25 for Uber ride from the town.
Amazing experience. The caves are huge. It s as if you are inside some ancient building or something due to the formations. We went with 2 kids (one of them <2yr) had no problems. The guides were awesome. We did the shortest tour though due to the kids and it was good. The inside is quite hot and humid.
Very nice, recommended for families with young children
Beautiful place to visit with kids and family. We used the San Antonio card to visit this place and one great thing about this place is FREE PARKING.
Price for quality 3.5 / 5
Kid friendly 4 / 5
Snack prices 3 / 5 (Bit expensive)
Free activities 2 / 5 ( Didn't find anything for the kids to play for free)
Overall 3.5 /5
A great workout haha, but it's crazy beautiful down there, the earth is amazing.
Great experience. Grandkids loved it, even the 4 year old.
Really awesome to see. A lot of different things to do, besides caves.
A little bit of hard work is required to see the caverns in all their glory but it's well worth the effort
The Caverns are amazing, but there's so much more to do
It's a nice place to take your family and have an adventure, either outdoors or underneath in the caverns
It was incredible experience, breath taking, very informative. It is a lot of stairs and walking tho.
Do not wear sandals or loose fitting shoes. The underground terrain is wet, slippery and sleep, but totally worth it..health considerations should be made if you're not able bodied.
Very thrilled to there again, 200+ feet under ground level.
A bit pricey for the general admission but I'm a geology nerd so I enjoyed it. However, my bf who is not a geology nerd said it was not worth it. I suppose it depends on your interests.
Pretty cool place but get ready to sweat. It was 72 degrees in the cave but there was 99% humidity. Some places are tight and the walk back up is a challenge.
Took the kids for the FREE Halloween trick or treat. It was short and sweet but for free you can't complain.
Nice and much cooler than outside. Great activity for a hot summer day. Very impressive!
Great experience but your guide rushes you between rooms a bit too much
Beautiful caves. Friendly staff. Really knowledgeable guides. My wife wasn't able to do zip ride and they let my kid use that instead. Caves were out of this world.
There is adventure for every level but be prepared for some exercise. The caves are awesome and the canopy is cool. The are snacks and drinks available and they can handle groups. The people are friendly and can answer all of your questions. There are some price breaks for buying ahead off time online and for buying multiple tours. I recommend planning to spend the day there and checking put the website for videos.
Nice place to take the family, tours aren't too expensive and you learn a bit about the caverns and their features. There are different types of tours and a more rigorous experience of cave exploring. There is also a zip line and some other fun activities.
I ve been a few times and they changed up the guides now to where there are people posted along the tour so you don t have one tour guide. Seems like this would be better because they don t have to memorize as much but they barely know any facts compared to when one person was running the entire circuit. Still it is a very nice tour
Very beautiful grounds and amazing cave. Very warm though, so dress accordingly. Lots of activities to do, but for pretty everything, be prepared to pay quite a bit of money for it.
An amazing place to visit. Million years old limestone structures hanging from ceiling and standing on ground. Incredible shapes.
The discovery cavern tour is a must! Wear comfy shoes with good traction!
There is lots of other stuff to do as well especially for kids (zip line, maze), there are also a few places to eat and several gift shops.
This place is amazing! Staff members are so nice and helpful. The caverns are amazing and it's like walking through another world full of amazement. It's nice that they have so many activities for all ages.
Loved this place! Would like to go back for their ziplines and other attractions. We only had time for a tour with our stop.
The caverns were beautiful but even while you're standing in the gift shop shopping waiting to go into the caves and when you've researched them and online it says a cool 70 degrees inside it's 88 to 98 inside it's usually 88 degrees with More
Clean and Great staff. Amazing views and always a great adventure. Lots of walking but very worth it
Wonderful. Physically challenging and good exercise. Guides are friendly. Location is perfect.
One of the most interesting natural wonders in Texas!
Expierence was amazing just be ready for a workout. It was tough but the guides are super supportive and paitent they dont rush you at all
This is a great experience and an amazing view of the caves. Bring your cameras, family and lunch. They have indoor and out tables to eat your lunch. There is a souvinier store and free parking. Be aware you will be walking steep trails and several stairs. Make sure you wear good tennis shoes. I would recommend to come check this place out. #JasonTrueRatings Please shate and like.
One of the most spectacular caves I have ever seen! PHOTOGRAPHERS - Bring a good flash and a microfiber cleaning towel for your lens. The cave has 99% humidity which will cause your lens to fog constantly.
My family loved it.
I'll be going back here for sure to do the Natural Caverns Adventure Tour. Took the family and we had a great time! The guides were very knowledgeable and passionate about there jobs in the caves. It was a truly remarkable story and a very entertaining trip!
Wonderful and fun place for the family. One of the kids favorite places on our vacation. Plenty to do!
The kids had a great time! Just did the easier discovery tour and our 4 year old made it through the whole way no problem. I think it well may be the highlight of the trip for them.
The tour was to fast couldn't really take any pictures without being left behind. Caves seemed very commercial.
Excellent place to visit with entire family. Very clean and well organized. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly... we had a blast!!!!!
Very cool and loved the cavern. Probably not the best place for people with asthma. Lol
Been here like three times so it's getting a little old for me. I just got to go here one more time when my child gets old enough and I'm hopefully done.
Guided tours leave every 10 minutes. It's approximately a 2-mile hike that includes an 18-story climb. Not appropriate for toddlers.
If your idea of vacation involves exploring scenic wonders, then this is for you!!! If your idea of a vacation is sitting on a beach and getting away from people... then maybe you're coming here for your kids! And kids will like it. You may need to think twice about this one if you have mobility issues.
Amazing and surreal caverns. They look like something out of a movie.
Must go see! These caverns are beautiful... I'm from NM and we have Carlsbad. Ours are bigger but this one is different. Only reason I gave 3 stars is because they have you wait to take a picture at the end. One group at a time... This took about 30 min of waiting in a 100% humidity underground. This should be OPTIONAL.
Amazing experience. I recommend for any person that like nature and outdoor activities.
Just absolutely amazing, make sure to wear tennis shoes anything else will just be extremely slippery, highly suggest not to wear clothes that is not breathable because at one point you will get very sweaty. Take a water bottle.
Awesome place yeah you do have to get plenty of drinks but it's a cool place u can see all different types of animals or caves
Absolutely beautiful! Our family was in awe of the natural beauty of these caves, and our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
Pretty cool trip with my family. Much better than expected.
Fun, informative tour. 185 stair steps on the Hidden Passages tour so get ready to get your cardio in!
Great facility and fun things to do there. The maze was super fun.
Went to the end of 2016, it was cold outside but warm inside, very interesting place
A great place, the tourism in San Antenio is only complete by visiting it. The place is a multi-activity nature reserve. Visiting the caves is a fun adventure and discover some of the earth s science.
