I have been a mortgage professional for 22 years, and I can tell you in all my years there has never been a better AMC then Nationwide. They are responsive, they are professional and the appraisers that they have in their system take the time to do things right and research the property. What is more important is that they use local appraisers as opposed to sending someone from the other side of the map to do an appraisal.
When there is a concern their staff shines. They address is in a timely and professional way. Every once in a while I will get a phone call or email asking me if there is anything they can do to help improve, which again is another bonus as they are always looking to improve their process. I think that speaks volumes to the type of company Nationwide is and where they want to be.
They don't stay on top of things I have called several times to try to get them to finish up Im still waiting on them to get the peper work corrected We are on the second time! I would really like to close on my home but unfortunately I have to wait till they decide to get the deed description corrected and sent back
The appraiser was completely ignorant of local zoning laws and caused massive delays by being unresponsive to the lender's inquiries. It was a nightmare.
Our appraiser has been unresponsive and report has delayed closing date. We still do not have a time frame on when we're going to receive the report.
I am exceptionally impressed with this companies quick refinance process. They have been prompt, communicative, clear, and patient with my rather ignorant questions, making me feel like I can totally trust them. I am especially comfortable with my loan officer, Ian Pititto, and his kind nature. This company has also offered me the lowest mortgage savings without any out of the pocket expense (aside from the appraisal) and the least amount of fees added to the loan. I am so grateful to them. Never order an appraisal from them. The appraisal might go out twice will not complete the appraisal and then you end up paying extra $$$ because you get stuck after ordering the appraisal.
