My kid's just love when i bring them to the national mall i lived in dc 30 years i come down the mall alot great place to go

I used to love walking around here. I hope everything becomes peaceful again so people can enjoy DC again.

Great place to walk and sight see. See the food trucks at L'enfant Plaza.

Historic walk but currently the reflection pool is under construction.. especially beautiful at night

Words can't describe,you must visit. The stretch of greenery in conjunction with the world renowned museums is majestic. When I went,last June,the weather was just right.

Literally the perfect place for a run, or a pick up game of flag football, or to just sit and read. Good luck finding a bathroom though after the federal and museum buildings close at 5pm!

Its full of history. I love going and thinking about the length of time it took to build.

Great place to experience the 4th of July with family and the community. Lots of space to have a picnic on the lawns and explore the National Mall.

Pure American history. Very important historic monuments and places to visit there.

Huge building, really nice experience, free of charge, two floors: first one is mostly sculpture, second - European and American painting, temporary exhibitions. A lot of old European masterpieces. Inner winter gardens are very recommended as a place of rest in hot days :)

So much to see. We took a tour, well worth it. We had an about 20 min at 3 stops to look around. So much information on the tour

The John Ericsson memorial was just as you cross the bridge into DC. Love finding the lesser known monuments... George Mason and Signers Island

The museum is beautiful and each piece is shown amazingly. I love different mediums the art is presented in.

Loved seeing the National Mall and the food trucks were delicious!

Even on a cold day, this is still a great place to visit. Every US citizen should check it out at least one time in their life.

It used to be way better without all the construction going on. All the museum's are really good though.

beautyful this time of the year (October). Daughter and I took my motorcycle into D.C. to see the sights.

Went here for the cherry blossom festival. It was insanely crowded. Tried to participate in the kite festival but.that was just too crazy to find a spot to get a kite in the air without smashing it into someone. At least cherry blossoms viewing was great. Although they were not in full bloom they were full enough to make it worth the trip! The only other place I have seen cherry blossoms has been in Japan although not as good it was a good substitute.

Memorials galore. Excellent Architecture and amzing history.

The opportunity to see history for free. Also, a nice and safe place to go for an early morning or early evening run..

There is so much to offer during a visit to the National Mall in Washington DC. Everything from museums and National monuments. Admission is Free and you will enjoy learning more about The United States of America.

Clean and calm its a nice place to walk do exercise

Can't tell you how proud I am to be an American! Miles of walking, but I see thousands daily who are overseas visitors very interested in our history and our country! And thousands more home folks!

Just to see how brilliant the architecture was centuries ago is very overwhelming. How man did things without the mechanisms or technically of today is baffling.

It's always a delight to visit this place. Ample space to move around. The kite festival was aweome, bit crowded this year but worth visiting.

Nice place to visit. Lots of transportation, but best to bring your walking shoes. An interesting souvenir hole in wall at Lincoln Memorial. Give yourself several days at least to enjoy the attractions.

Only in DC can you view amazing monuments all around you, with beautiful lawns in between....and oh yea, the most adorable outdoor ice skating rink nestled in a park dotted with enormous art installations!!!!

I came here with my mom and friends and we really love it. It is a wonderful place to be. Beautiful it was an amazing experience.

It's definitely a place to go see. Alot to look at and learn. It's a huge place but worth every minute and the food court was nice also.

It was so wonderful! My Husband and Son's first visit! We were excited from beginning to end although we were Mad Tired! So much to see!

The mall is one of my favorite places to walk. It is friendly and inviting with wonderful monuments all over the place. Every time I go, I find a new monument.

Diversified, conducive and enabling environment for people within the region and tourists within and outside the United States of America.

Very well kept, but working on all the monuments right now. I guess they have to get it done while the weather is nice.

Always a great trip. So much to see and never enough time. And all the restoration work done around the National Mall really shows. The grass is looking amazing now.

Best tourist attraction available at DC. Just go there and see it yourself. All the national monument and buildings surround this place.

You walk around and enjoy, just make sure that you have enough time to stop by all amazing museums.

The Sackler Gallery exhibit Empresses of China is wonderful, with a side benefit of the buddha exhibit.

Had a great time at the tidal basin just peddle boating and seeing the Jefferson Memorial in a different way. Definitely recommend doing that.

Went on a slightly rainy day Saturday in October. Was a cool festival happening that I got to barely see. Make sure you check for festivals and other outside events if you are going to DC.

Clean, beautiful, and informative. The kids enjoyed it also.

The Korean War memorial is my favorite. Visiting it is such an emotional experience. The strength and anguish is palpable. I recommend going at night or when it is snowing to evoke the maximum emotional experience. It is absolutely stunning.

Cherry blossoms at their peak was my Monday morning motivation. Despite chilly temps, I enjoyed the trip. You must see the blossoms in person!

Wow! I've been to D.C. before and can't believe I hadn't walked around this area. It's so peaceful, wide, beautiful scenery, and a great place to walk Museums line the outing of the rectangle area so there's a lot to do here. Would take about two days or more just to see everything. Must come during the cherry blossoms! It's beautiful!!!

Went during cherry blossom season, Saturday was crazy but we got up before dawn Sunday and honestly it was magical

Wanted to go inside but guess only between July 4th and xmas

Incredible place to visit. Take the time to see it.

A must for people visiting DC. Walking the pond of reflection to the Lincoln Memorial is one of the highlights. As well as visiting the World War 2 Memorial. Beautiful and historical for a day around DC. The museums are also a must see, such as the Gallery of Art and the Natural History museum.

Everyone must see this place at least once. Television and other media simply do not do it justice. Be prepared to walk A LOT.

What a great day of fresh air and teaching humility and gratitude to my son!

Although the touristy thing to do, the national mall is an impressive place to hang at.
Great museums along the way, amazing sights and sometimes interesting events.
At night the place takes on another shape with great photo opportunities and quite surrounding.

Be prepared to walk quite a bit or ride an electric scooter to get around

Beautiful green spaces, good paved walking paths. The monuments are sobering and breathtaking. Parking is tough, but it is worth it.

One of my most cherished places I've visited in the East Coast!! I didn't expected to be this good! Watch out for Capitol Hill, Space museum and the Lincoln statue at the end of the memorial.

This is a place where you want to see everything you will need more than two days to see everything. There is so much history here that you will want to stop and take it all in. There is something here for everyone to see no matter what you may like or what may interest you. If you just get there to walk around the Mall and not stop into any of the Museums, you still will need more than a day to do this. I highly recommend this to everyone and for everyone to stop by the White House while here.

Huge area with lots of greenery and benches. Plenty of shade from the sun. There isnt much of a parking structure but its easy to get there using the metro. The locals use this space to exercise.

Outstanding experience just being there, and taking in the magnificent sights and views of the national mall.

Also, the entire mall and the city is so clean!

Wonderful. Went on honor flight from dayton airport. So glad I went.

Fantastic, there was a heavy thunderstorm when we were visiting and the folks at David's Tent kindly provided us refuge. In spite of the weather we could see the Washington Monument, the White House, Capitol building from a distance, US Treasury, and most importantly the Air and Space Museum. Great day out for my family!

We went to Air & Space and Natural History. Both were packed but we were still able to enjoy.

Great place for a night visit. Mall is beautiful both day and night but monuments pop on a clear night. Was glad to see lots of other families there too. Out of the blue, an incredible female singer belted out a perfect rendition of the National Anthem. Whoever you are, Thank You!

The mall is so big, but 3 hours is enough to visit the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Martin Luther King Jr. Monument, FDR memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, WWII Memorial, and Korean War memorial. The Washington Monument requires tickets, so get them in advance.

We enjoyed our time on the mall, lots of food and drink vendors and ice cream. We were there for The Return to Jesus Christ! Awesome event , awesome Lord!

Had a great time walking around the National Mall. They had the Smithsonian folk fest. On one side of the mall was Armenian and the other Catalan. Both had fantastic food. Everyone was enjoying listening to the music, having a drink and been with friends and family.

We always make a point of spending a few unscheduled days on the mall when we're on the east coast with the kids. Always worth the visit. Smithsonian Air and Space, Natural History, US Botanic Garden, and the Capitol are all on the most-do list.

A well-kept expanse of nearly 2 miles of greenery at the center of sidewalks and pathways to make the area very walkable. Surrounded by all sorts of free Smithsonian Museum with a metro stop in the center, this is a great spot to knock out many of them at once before heading to either the library of congress, at one end, or the Washington Monument at the other.

Dc May not have sky scrapers but it does have its own beautiful skyline...

Great place to take the family. Especially at night the sky lights up.
