Two hours and still waiting
This place sucks. I wonder what the mortality rate is? Take me to Greenville Vidant much better. People here don't care. One person who apparently knew one of the nurses went right In. Friends and family first.
Three hours
The mortality rate is above the national average on almost every category I could find. This includes pneumonia, heart failure, heart attacks and COPD. The waiting room is filthy chips, cookies, used masks(explains high pneumonia death rate?) And empty soda bottles.
I complained about the wait and the nasty condition of the facility and now they will make me wait even longer. Friends and family first.if you complain you will pay by having to wait longer.
Finally in a room. We will probably have to wait in here for a long time. Cannot have people complaining in front of everyone else. It might start a trend and a expectation of quality health care.
Finally seen a doctor at 1230.
Doctor ordered shot still here at 0242
Three people doing same job.

Went in today around 2:30pm and was out the door by 4:30pm. All the medical staff was very polite and very helpful. The front desk staff and whoever answers the phone is a different story (very rude and not helpful at all). The areas of the hospital i saw were very clean. Everyone may have a different opinion on their experiences but mine was great.

Came in at 3:45 pm . Still not seen in the back and it is 8:00 pm. Have not called my name. They only call people who are not here. Not sure what to do as I don't feel good and moving around makes me feel even worse. Would not recommend coming here to get emergency room help. I came in with shortness of breath and I am still in a wheelchair waiting.

My mother-in-law checked into Nash ER with a suspected kidney stone in great pain at 8pm on a Monday. The waiting area was medium crowded. She was throwing up in the waiting area and it wasn't until 3am was she called back into an ER room. She waited 20 minutes to be seen. After the kidney stones were confirmed and morphine for pain and a drug for nausea was given, there was a 45 minute wait for a discharge at 5:30am. 9.5 hours of inefficiency hell. I personally have experienced something similar at Nash ER in my one visit. Driving to Raleigh or dying may be preferred. Beware. People are good but processes and coordination are broken at Nash ER in Rocky Mount, NC.

This place should be ashamed of the way they operate. My sister was worried about her pregnancy because she had intense cramps and nausea. I wrote down that she was pregnant on the sheet at check in and we told triage nurse as well, but the nurses in the ER acted like they hadn t heard that yet; and neglected to tell us she needed a positive pregnancy test result BEFORE they could do an ultrasound until we had already been there at least three hours, and by then she was too weak and dizzy to get to the bathroom. She went ahead with the urine sample later when she started feeling better but the nurse who took her left her there and she was disoriented coming out trying to find her room again by herself. We were there for seven hours in total just for them to finally do an ultrasound, say the baby was fine, and send us home with nausea meds. A complete waste of time. Additionally, a nurse or tech at the counter was incredibly rude and dismissive when I asked where our nurse was and the second doctor she saw had terrible bedside manner and acted like we were just wasting HIS time. I am disgusted.
