Perfect getaway from town life. Hotel is located on the banks of Naromoru permanent river, with service to hotel residents and non residents. Enjoy your meal as you listen and experience the serene atmosphere of the River humming about. Great location with extra effort to preserve natural vegetation as is. Offers hotel rooms, cottages and even camping grounds for the adventurer

Low profile place. Very basic. Terrible access road through the village dirt.. E ran away to Kongoni in Nanyuki, so mych better.

Green, sound of rushing water. Architecture and decor that transports you to a time long ago. The memorabilia is really nostalgic too. Service was good and the food delicious

Profusion of monkeys, birds with a river running through the Lodge. Great meals and service. Clean rooms. A great place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Been here once in the last five years .. quite a retreat especially if you are planning for a serious hike to Mount Kenya .. this is the assured to get the services and the gear .....

Their self catering cottages are in pathetic condition and very dirty...

The stay was everything I needed. We stayed in a Deluxe room which was more than comfortable for two people and loved the private balcony. Naro Moru River is literally the perfect background feature of the space. The flora and landscape is intentionally maintained and felt like I was in a beautiful forest.The entire staff was genuinely kind and respectful throughout the entire time and food was delicious and felt healthy! I felt beyond safe as well during these unpredictable COVID-19 times as a person coming from abroad. Wish I spent more time lounging around to enjoy the vibes of the place more. You don t forget how people and places make you feel and I can confidently say Naro Moru River Lodge left a comforting, unique, and relaxing impression on me.

Wonderful place for get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and to just unwind. They have activities like bike rides as well as hikes up the nature trail. My only problem is with the room which to me seem outdated. They should definitely renovate. Otherwise they have a wonderful staff and the ambience of the place is just amazing thanks to the river that gives a calming effect

This is an incredible Alliance hotel with all that you need. There is accommodation, swimming pool, tennis courts, pool tables, children playground among others. Its located in a quiet environment where all the noise is from birds and the river nearby. An amazing place it is.

If you are going to Mount Kenya this is the place to stay.
Very cosy rooms and the sound of the River passing by and the nature is just breathtaking.

I found bugs in the beds but I totally recommend this especially the team building activities and challenge course obe to visit again
