Naples Grande Beach Resort Review

So.... we stayed here for my birthday for a few days in October. I understand there are things going on that affect service right now, but when you're paying this much money for a room, there are expectations. These were sadly not met. No valet at check in, missing dresser handles, lights that don't work, and check out issues all mar what this former beauty might've had to offer. If you're headed to Naples, you might want to avoid this one. Last year our stay at another hotel was amazing, and I find it hard to believe that this hotel has lost a lot of its shine in so little a time.

A lovely family hotel - this place is nicely located by the ocean but required quite a walk to get there (you can also catch the occasional hotel shuttle there). The place is well maintained and the rooms are nice.
During holidays they do offer some activities for the little ones and the water-slide is a great attraction.

We are here now.. staying in tennis villa.. nothing works !
Phones, TV, hair dryer... fridge won't get cold..
This is my third year in a row here.. and my last.

This place is awful. VERY run down. It's parking is disgusting. If you park in the garage, there is no elevator. You will have to pass the guess in the pool area just to check in. The rooms need to be revamped. Our furniture had plenty of stains, and looked like it was picked up off the trash pile. It states a beach front hotel, however, the beach is located through a nearby park that you have to pay an entrance fee just to see the ocean. We was very disappointed for our anniversary stay. The price was 1,000 for two nights stay. VERY overpriced, and VERY overrated. Spend your money somewhere else!

Stayed here over July 4th weekend. Loved our Villa. The pool is very nice but was very disappointed to see the rusty handicap lift sitting on the ground. When I asked to use it, I was told Oh, it s broke . Used the lift to get down to go to beach but when we got back, it wasn t working. Had to ride my scooter all the way through the Clam pass parking lot to get back to the hotel. Scooters do not do well trying to go over speed bumps to get out of the parking lot.

The resort itself is very nice, and most of the staff are very friendly. We stayed in a gulf view suite with a huge balcony on the 17th floor. The rooms a little outdated with a lot of unnecessary items. The suite doesn t have a kitchen sink, or have any utensils. You have to wash your glassware in a bathroom sink. For the price they charge I feel like you should at least have that. The check in process could of been a little better as well. The representative who checked us in was very rude and unprofessional. I would probably look into staying into another resort down the road with much better reviews next time. This resort is NOT ON THE BEACH!

Nice hotel and rooms. Would have really liked to have the loggerhead club available so our 5yo could have had fun and met new people while mommy and daddy got a break

As usual, it was perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. the rooms are very well kept and spacoius. The pool is incredible.we had a lot fun and we will definitely keep on coming back.

Definitely not what we expected from a Waldorf. Overrated. Service not as expected.

1st time visiting this Naples resort & was very happy with my better half's choice. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very friendly/courteous valet/bellhop. Check in was a breeze and the receptionist was amazing to talk to. Room was clean & spacious & had all the necessities. Enjoyed the pool & beach and of course the hotel food. Will be back again to celebrate another special event!

Beach is beautiful, pools are huge, with plenty of room. Service is excellent and rooms are updated and clean. However, the restaurants are a bit overpriced and should have healthier options.

I simply loved the beach linked with the resort. Clear water and white sand! The pools were nice as well as the view from my luxurious suite. Would visit again!

A bit dated hotel. You can clearly hear next door guests - sound protection for the rooms is needed. Service might be improved.

Great stay! Staff is super and Ramona s service at the poolside bar was superb....prompt, friendly and even tracked me down when I left my purse! The resort is fortunate to have her serving their guests!
