Nice location and atmosphere. Only complaint was bed was very hard and not sleep in worthy.

Only stopped in after dropping a passenger off from Uber, but just by stepping in to the lobby, you could tell that it was a great place to stay in
Great rooms, friendly staff, indoor pool. Can't ask for much more.
Always a pleasant stay. Room trendy and clean. Nice hotel bar with a couple of happy hours daily. Close to the interstate and places to eat.
Tremendous fan of this modern chic series and recent addition to the Marriott family. The staff here is wonderful, friendly, and extremely accommodating. I'd give this particular location 6 stars if I could.
One of my favorite places to stay when coming to Nashville. The indoor pool is great. The workout room doesn't have much, but it does have the basics. The lobby area is nice and inviting and has a pool table and fireplace near the bar area.
Very awesome staff and clean rooms. Great place to stay. Will definitely stay again.
Poor customer service when we checked in, told us to keep coming back to see if our room was ready instead of checking our luggage and calling when the room was ready. When I spoke with the manager she said they did all the right things when they didn't. They say they will do something (like follow up with me) and they don't. Awful experience.
Terrible pricing, no breakfast. The two stars is for the staff who made a bad stay bearable.
Bathroom by pool and by elevators not well maintained staff was very friendly very kid and pet friendly hotel. Nice layout to the hotel rooms. lot of good places to eat and shop in close proximity of the hotel I would definitely stay here with my family again.
Amenities as expected from Aloft, though a bit smaller than other properties. Clean and comfortable, but definitely not in the heart of the city's activity.
Credit card charged twice for 1 night reservation and had to make multiple calls to try to get second charge removed. Beware, making reservation on hotel website goes through a 3rd party and charges a 20% surcharge hidden as taxes.
Nice and dog friendly. Rooms could have been a little more sounds proof because we could the people next to us all night
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly bartender, not crowded.
It was not my hotel type but good for social interaction
Breakfast selection was great, rooms were nice. Staff was excellent.
Clean and modern hotel! Pet friendly! Not only are they pet friendly they welcome pets! One of my favorite branded Marriott hotels! The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. All the staff were friendly, especially Autumn at the front desk. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is in a nice area. About 15-20 mins from Nashville!
Cool, hip place. Only spent one night, but comfy bed and fashionable room.
Had an amazing time here at Aloft while doing a Paint Nite event. The receptionist was very friendly and showed me where I could get some lemon water while I waited. They have a nice little market area to buy sandwiches and things, though while it has good selection, it is a bit overpriced. Paint Nite itself was great, the atmosphere of the side lobby was perfect being next to the bar. My main complaint was that the bartender was bad. The drink I got was terrible, and when I asked for some water he waited on four people before me, and even then I had to interrupt him again and TELL him to give me the ice water. He had no personality and it worries me that my friend and I weren't carded. We just turned 21 about a year ago, we definitely should have been carded, so that worries me in a city like Nashville. And we were the first people to the bar, it's not like he was in a rush. He actually went in slow motion. I've most definitely had better. But other than that huge disappointment, the hotel itself was amazing. Would recommend over and over again.
Staff is great. Check in can sometimes take a while. Don't like that the only ice is in the lobby. Other than that great hotel.
Great things: The staff, the pool, the bar, and the parking.
Definitely one of the older Alofts, though. You could see how dated/dingy a lot of the amenities in the lobby were, like the pool table and the seating areas around them. The HDMI boxes in the rooms didn't work and I had to ask for several different things in the room when I was staying there that should have already been in the room. The staff handled it very well, but the hotel itself felt a bit on the older/less important side to the franchise. I stay at pretty much only ALofts and this one didnt impress - though it was still a good stay. The location of this one is great for entertainment/shopping/food nearby, though!
3.5 out of 5 stars if possible.
Positives:
Dog Friendly
Friendly and attentive staff
Clean
In room fridge
Trying to be eco-friendly
Negatives:
Most uncomfortable beds EVER
Terrible pillows
No bathtub
No Room Service
Sits right next to the freeway, so very loud day & night
Very limited food available in the lobby - so must eat elsewhere.
Even though they try to be eco-friendly, still have plastic wrapped, plastic cups in the rooms.
The hotel has very trendy decor, a friendly staff, a nice pool, and a nice lounge area. That said, there's not enough parking, the beds are uncomfortable, and there's not enough sound insulation between the rooms.
The only thing or should I say person that was helpful and patient. Leighton was her name. Bar was closed most of the stay which was 3 days. Rooms are clean but not worth the price.
Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, good location, room beds are comfortable. Has Shuttle service. Mall & restaurants are walking distance. Breakfast is not part of room price.
Possibly one of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed at and alot to do near, only downer was the bar the bartender was always hard to find.
Great location is the Cool Springs area of Franklin. Really neat, modern Hotel. My only issue would be the noise of the interstate traffic when trying to sleep. If the AC unit is running you can't hear it, but as soon as it goes off there is the noise.
Attended a special event in the lounge room and we were interrupted multiple times by several drunk bar patrons.
Great place, good modern setting, wish there were food options in the hotel, however surrounding areas have great food options
Hotel is nice. Conveniently located near several restaurants and shopping. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the hot water in the shower was not working very well. They were aware of the problem and working to fix it but I still had to take a cold shower.
Great Hotel, very unique from the run of the mill hotel. From the modern style room to the inviting entry area, I'd highly recommend this place to someone looking for something fun and different.
Great place to stay! I love the trendy, up-to-date rooms, and the full suite of amenities that Aloft offers. Their fitness center is almost a necessity when you're away from home. The heated pool is a nice extra as well, and the quick breakfast options in the morning are a definite plus. I stay here every time I'm visiting Nashville, and they've never given me a reason to go anywhere else!
Its awesome,I love this place, its so nice & fancy, always makes me feel so special .nice workers that really know how to treat people right..i love the town of Franklin,Tenn.its an awesome place
REALLY NICE HOTEL, ME AND MY FAMILY CAMW DOWN FROM ATL TO ENJOY THE WEEKEND , AND YES IT WAS WORTH IT #AWESOME TIME
The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable!
Breakfast was not that great. I'd recommend going elsewhere for breakfast.
The bartender was amazing though!
We would stay again!
We had selected this spot for our stay since it was one of the closer Marriot choices in range to the local Renaissance Festival this year. Upon arrival we had seen the exterior was well taken care of and beautiful but quickly focused on the lack of available, or convenient parking options. With a lot of baggage, and plans to have more, it was a little bothersome. After writing that off we entered the building to a friendly staff and awe at the front lobby design. This place looks very cool and gives off an enjoyable millennial vibe. That gave us high hopes for the rooms, but after spending many nights in Courtyards and other Marriot locations it was a bit of a surprise to see how closed of a space you're welcomed into. Still we tried to make the most of it, we unpacked and began untangling the wires we had to hook up laptops because we realized that the TVs are a bit outdated with the lack of internet options. It wasn't until we had everything out that we noticed the connection box they had for the room required you to connect an aux cord in order to have any sound directed to the TV itself since an HDMI wouldn't allow anything but visual display. Okay, so we called the front desk hoping to see if they had the cords available and that night we were told they had every cord except for the one we needed and we were given a second hdmi cord instead. Didn't exactly benefit us because we already had one. Well we tried our best to make it work out and we spend about a solid 30 minutes trying to reach the back of the bolted in television to see if hooking the hdmi directly to the back would make a difference. After hands being cramped up from trying so hard we eventually got it hooked in for nothing. So we ended up lacking a simple accommodation easily given by other places we've stayed, a bit of a let down. Still we pressed on. Later in the night we started to hear strange noises coming from the halls and though they had to be right next to our door since it was so audible. Nope, they were a ways down, the walls are just rather thin. Being kept awake by that was nearly the last straw after all of the other nuances until we made a call to receive more towels delivered to our room. We were both hoping to take a shower and waited over 30 minutes to have anything brought to our room. In that time one of us already got in and out while the one towel we had dried and let the other go in. After that we just tried to put our things together as quickly as possible so we could just forget the experience. It was a let down having to use points for this stay after noticing there was another Marriot down the road we KNOW we would have had a better time spent at. For the price per night with everything we bothered with it wasn't worth it. Maybe someone else would have no complaints and a great time but for a couple that travels frequently it was sub-par.
There were bugs in the light fixtures. Wall paper was peeling off. Staff was accommodating and cleaned the bugs and comped 1 night of my stay.
Definitely geared to a much younger crowd...hipsters and millennials would like this place. Nice bar and has a pantry with way too healthy food to choose from. Staff is helpful and friendly.
My husband decided to take me out for a date night. We went to TPAC and then drove to cool springs and stayed here. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Also the air conditioner worked great and the shower was wonderful. I would stay here again.
Nice hotel during my first visit and cheap. That is why i choosed Aloft for my second visit. The personel is very kind.
Pretty urban and hispter. It allows dogs which was nice.
Had a great stay...very helpful and genuine staff. Live music in the lounge was a bonus!
Mostly dissatisfied. Room was small. No microwave. Shower head barely sprayed water. Exhaust fan didn't work. Didn't like the idea of the refill container of soap and shampoo... Anyone could put anything in it.. eeewww!! Room was very expensive for what it was. Bar is in front lobby. Seemed more of a place geared towards the younger hip/trendy crowd. No free breakfast. Just 1 small apple or 1 browned bananna was $1.50 each. Can only imagine what the price of drinks were! Disappointed considering paying $160+ for a king loft for 1 night.
Love this place it's pet friendly !! Front desk greeted my dog by his name each time we went out awesome! Make that visit soon, and see for yourself! The room is unique and different from others!
Nice accommodations! Loved the modern decor. Beds were super comfy!
Bed is like sleeping on a wooden door, super noisy from interstate and a/c set on 70 degrees blows out super hot heat, second night fire alarm randomly went off for 4 seconds and quit at 2 am, expected alot more for a high priced place glad somebody is making money
Great room at a great price. Pet friendly, helpful staff. I will definitely stay here again!
Fantastic modern hotel, our room was a loft (get it?) style room, and was fantastically open. The tv has an input box with vga, hdmi, and composite inputs to use, not locked down like most!! The lobby was quite active in the evenings, and everyone was clearly enjoying their stay.
Our stay at Aloft was mostly enjoyable. It has fun decor, nice rooms, and a very courteous staff. Though the breakfast was not complimentary, they have a wonderful selection that is obviously more convenient than going out. My only two critiques are these: the water in the shower was impossible to regulate. It was either scorching hot or freezing cold. We both took very hot showers. The other is that the outer wall was so thin that I slept maybe a total of 2 hours because of traffic noise. I'm not sure if there was some kind of overnight car show happening...on the interstate...but even with headphones in and a noise maker app running, I could still hear the heavy traffic all the way up until the alarm clock in the room went off at 5:10am (which we didn't set.) My husband considers himself a heavy sleeper so he slept despite the noise, so this may not be a problem for others. All in all it is a nice hotel and should we return, I'll request a room that doesn't face the direction of the interstate.
Nice staff cool decor. Starting to look just a little tired. Don't care for their breakfast.
Great place to stay. Aloft hotels in general are very nice, but Ana at the front desk made this place very enjoyable and easy. She knew her stuff and was very kind and personal, which is hard to find at hotels. If I'm ever back in the Nashville area I will try to stay there!
Check in was great! Very cool hotel! Paid $108 plus tax. The decor is awesome!
Facility fine. Bar staff dismissive, seemed like he would rather have been elsewhere
It is an okay hotel and very contermpary, but not someplace I would say feels homey.
Different kind of ambience, hit or miss depends on one's preference
Not as nice as my previous stay. Noise from the highway was loud. Covered it up by running the fan all night. Toilet was a little bit leaky. Had to get up in the night and tap on the handle to get it to stop running intermittently. Mattress was firm. Not the worst I've slept on, but not great. Apart from that, not a bad stay. Check-in and check-out was smooth. The bathrooms were clean and have a nice style.
The room was good and the staff was good with an exception. Make sure you ask for room away from the elevator. They have the loudest elevator of any place I've ever stayed. It was distracting and annoying while you are awake so sleeping was a struggle. The bed was comfortable and the shower was spacious. The other problem was breakfast. You have to order breakfast. I sat waiting for over 30 minutes. Finally as I was leaving the brought it out. Didn't have time to eat it.
Hotel is next to freeway off ramp so you can hear every car that was getting off the freeway at night. Also in room AC unit is loud. Otherwise room is clean and staff is friendly.
We couldn't believe the difficulty we had in trying to get something to eat there, so DON'T go there hungry!! BYOF. Bring Your Own Food. hahah We were exhausted by the time we got there, and just figured we would get some room service at the hotel (turns out they didn't HAVE room service!!), but we saw on the internet that they had a little bistro-looking shop that was supposedly "open 24 hours" called "Refuel" that appeared in the photo to be stocked with all kinds of food that you were supposed to be able to get to 24 hours a day. So not true. They had drinks, some boxes of cereal, chips and candy bars, and some old hard cinnamon rolls when I was there. The guy at the desk told me we could order something from the bar, and they do have several snacks on their bar menu. However, every time I chose an item from the menu, the guy said they were "out". It was only about 9pm when I was ordering. We were too tired to leave and look for food, so we had milk and the tops off of old cinnamon rolls for dinner.
The rooms were clean though, and the bed was comfy. It was freezing in our room when we got there, so we called down and asked for an extra blanket. They don't have blankets--so about 45 minutes later, someone brought us another comforter.
BTW--the air conditioner/heat is controlled on the wall--NOT on the unit itself--those controls are disabled. :) I punched the buttons quite a few times before I figured that out!!!
I won't stay here again though, because I will choose a place that can offer food to weary travelers.
Seems that it's trying to be edgy, at the cost of quality.
Fun place for 1 or 2 people in a room. Interesting layout and hip design. Only downside is the freeway noise at night.
Aloft is neat, trendy hotel chain with a very comfortable bed and clean rooms. This particular location is no different. Nothing except the stay itself is included and breakfast isn't cheap. all of this is in the info before reserving so even as such I still would have given it a 5 star rating. my ONLY complaint about this place is the staff. while the younger desk attendants are very nice and welcoming, the older woman who was there was pretty cold and had no interest in making someone feel at home. when I had a question she didn't really provide a clear answer so much as mutter a response that I could only interpret as her being annoyed with me or thinking I was simple.
