This is my worst experience ever. I left me head phone (Bose Headphone) and was told i have to travel from MN to pick it up. I recently called and was told they can't find the head phones anymore. (Your Customer property get shared within the company). Do use this hotel will be my recommendation.
Please note this is a review just for the Cafe portion;
The ambiance of the space is amazing and very well suited for a "quiet cafe". The staff is extremely friendly and informative about all this place has to offer. The food is delicious and comes out in a timely manner. I absolutely love the conveyor belt feature!
A few cons, but can easily be improved on;
1. Enforcing the "quiet" part of the cafe. Unfortunately, some guest do not respect this aspect and chat freely (and loudly), as well as hold phone conferences and job interviews... I would just ask the staff to be stricter in making sure all guest are being respectful of the quiet space.
2. The automatic air curtain at the front door is extremely loud and disruptive if you are sitting near the entry. If the door does not shut all the way, since it is automatic, the air continues to blow (loudly). Hopefully an easy fix by adjusting the closer at the doors.
Great experience! Oasis-like atmosphere. Napping pods are very comfortable, foods and smoothies are also very good. Definitely, recommend.
Best place ever, Go take a nap there it is worth it!!!
was a very interesting experience. the ceiling was pretty awesome. stuff was super nice, i liked the bathroom. but if i remember right no possibility for showering. extra charge for every even smaller bags is too expensive.
WoW this place is really nice & so comfortable cuz! I booked a 2 hr seSsion and woke up feeling like a brand new person. The best sleep, that I had in years! I will most def visit again cuz
A great concept horribly executed. The staff were young and ditsy and uninformed. Their pods have no doors. There was a drunk woman walking around that they let stay who was yelling at people. Their cleaning service was disruptive, and they decided to do a photo shoot next to my pod while I was trying to sleep. Oh an you have to pay extra for a sheet, otherwise you sleep on plastic mattress. And if you re sensitive to light, there s light and electronics all over the pod, and you ll have to pay extra for an eye mask.
Take a nap in a "nap cubicle"- safe, clean, quiet, and dark.
A quiet, relaxing and well thought out experience in an otherwise busy and bustling city.
Amazing people, very relaxing, if you work long hours and need some rest stop by don't be shy.
It looks dark from outside but once you enter the cafe which is first floor you will find their unique atmosphere with many plants. Pods on 3rd floor are comfortable and staffs are very nice. 30 mins nap during my travel helps me a lot to recover from jet-lag. Someone said it's Oasis in NYC but that's totally true.
Super convenient place to store luggage or catch your breath downtown.
Staff is genius,I backed to there at 4 am and told the man I have paid at 7pm so that I am permitted to put my luggage in the room behind you.
Why they still changed me again, I got the notification from bank next day.
It's great, I'm a light sleeper but it was quiet and dark and they have these awesome cords to charge everything up and even a shower! Only thing, it would be nice if there was more than a curtain but it still felt pretty safe.
Very unique concept. The place is perfect for a traveler looking for a place to rest overnight. It has a peaceful and charming vibe and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Great environment and good healthy meal. Great for a quick bite or to set up camp and get to work on your laptop.
perfect place in between work and the commute home to quickly wind down, meditate, or nap!
Music was way to loud the more I went up stairs and th food wasn t too good
I stumbled on to this place when we were looking for a place to rest our feet after exploring NY. On a whim, we decided to give it a go, getting a one hour nap. I always wanted to try a capsule hotel and, honestly, this is basically that concept but with nap durations as well. It was very quiet and the employee was very thorough on the features. My pod ( I wanted the bunk style one like at Japanese capsule hotels) had nice star lighting on the ceiling I could relax to. It was simple go turn off as well. Honestly, if I'm ever in NYC alone, I wouldn't mind spending the night here. And naps too, of course. I went on a Sunday and the price was more than reasonable!
The bathroom was interesting with its Japanese style toilet!
A wonderful concept, and one that saved my life today. Very quiet and comfortable, I paid for two hours and slept through mostly all of it. An amazing place to get charged up when you are running on empty. Was also offered a hot towel for my face before I entered the pod, which I very dearly needed. The future, as I am sure this will be in every major city in a few years!
My husband and I were in a bind on a recent trip to NYC where we took a red eye, were in need of some sleep asap and couldn't check into our hotel for 6 hours. This place was exactly what we needed, we got a great nap in and were able feel like a normal human being again.
Great customer service and dealt with our sleep deprived brains when we couldn't figure out to get the app to work.
Very interesting setup they have seems to work well
Initially I thought it was a strange concept, but it was actually really nice to be able to take a nap someplace quiet and dark during the day
Did not sleep in the "pods" however the ability to store luggage for a full day for 5$ and a peaceful like jungle atmosphere makes this my next NYC to do. Guest Service guy was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Slightly weird review. We're in the market for a new mattress and one of the leading contenders is the Airweave (it's Japanese, just go with me). We found out this place only uses them in their nap pods and figure a 5 minute test in a store wouldn't compare to a 1 hour nap, and for only $10. After registration they take you up to the 2nd floor for slippers and a locker. You can see pod chairs and a massage chair here. They hand you a small device that's normally used to tell you your table is ready as an alarm. You're asked to not use your cellphone. Walk up to the 4th floor for basic pods (3rd is the lux version). Hopped in and grabbed the blanket, it was insanely cold and no way to do anything about it. There was a mechanical sound like a fan that could be thought of as ambient noise if not for being annoying. All in all it was ok, I did not fall asleep, but imagine if I was tired it would be ok. I took advantage of a summer discount but not sure how I feel about paying regular price.
Quite place as the name says! In center of New York City.. plus healthy amazingly delicious food and space for napping:)
I wanted to love it, but didn t. I was hoping to grab a lite bite before my nap but they no longer have a cafe. My pod was freezing cold to where my heart started racing, and my blanket wasn t enough for me to keep warm. The staff was nice, they told me I could have asked for more blankets - I didn t know that at the time. Unfortunately there s no way of calling downstairs from your pod. Also, the charger in my pod didn t work. I was right by the bathroom and a water cooler so I kept hearing shuffling in front of my pod and that was disruptive. I didn t get the sleep I needed but I got some rest and it served as a moment away from the overstimualtion of the city. I m sure I ll give them another try, but next time I ll be ordering the linens upgrade (I thought they came included in the first class pod). The rubber mattress was too cold for me and the covering on the pillow wasn t comfortable. With some small adjustments I m sure this place can be great.
this place is awesome. it's in a central location, nice and quiet, there's wifi, there are a lot of plugs, and you can order drinks/food and such on a cool conveyer belt. not sure about the actual sleeping part but i love the cafe part very much.
Very interesting concept, I can't say it was the best sleep of my life but for a quick nap in between shifts this was perfect.
Exactly What NY Needs. The pods are clean, roomy and comfy. There are different settings for the light, including pitch black which is my favorite. And you can choose how much comfort you want, with the most luxurious pods having their own blankets and extra pillows. There is also a lot of other things like great food, massages, and more. The staff is very friendly. I hope they open a lot more locations!
I loved it but unfortunately it just closed for building improvement reasons. Its up for rent again. Hopefully they open a new place somewhere else.
Nap York is new concept that immediately greets you with soothing music in a relaxing setting in the middle of midtown manhattan. I enjoyed the seamless experience ordering the cocoa smoothie (which was very good) and the collard turkey wrap. The staff is so nice and they make you feel very welcomed. I tried the nap pod for the first time and it was an awesome experiences. I will definitely be a regular and recommend this spot.
Probably the most convenient spot in NYC... eat while your phone charges, nap while your shoes get shined, and get some work done while you wait for your Tesla shuttle!
No possible leave the bags... Terrible reception. I have leave the bag in the storage and someone have stolen all the good things. My bag stolen had inside a phone, sephora products, 4 Ralph Lauren parfum, a new pair of shoes, and money. I never return here
Amazingly comfortable space to relax in. A quiet oasis in the middle of the city.
Nice place to escape to refill your energy level with fresh juices, booster, smoothies and more organic drinks! It is very quite and relaxing when you enter the building. Inside you will find massage chairs for back and feet, beds to have power naps, office setup for your work in a quite place
Loved it, so upset this place closed, the food they had was really good too :/
This place is a gem! After a long day of touring the city I ran into Nap York for a power nap, so convenient! I'm surprised a city like New York hasn't had one of these before.
It is a safe way to storage your luggage, great people, helpful, nice, service was good, and I got a nice juice!
Bad service like I said they don t even make the food nor do they even know what they re doing
Nice little oasis and a life-saver. Missed the last train to DC for the night, next wasn't scheduled to leave until 3AM. I didn't feel like capping off my weekend by spending 5 hours in Penn in the middle of the night, so I ducked around the corner to this place, hoping to do some reading and maybe take a nap in peace. Happy to report I was able to relax and accomplish both, in a comfy rooftop hammock. On my way out I freshened up with one of their beverages.
Easy, clean escape from Amtrak's grubby waiting room purgatory. Would go back.
This is one of the best ideas Ive ever heard of. I personally thought it up In my head and I was like what if someone opened up a business where you could go and pay for a nap? Well, ask and you shall receive. I worked an early morning shift and then had a PM shift. I live all the way up in Harlem and couldn t bother going back up to go down. Looked this place up. Went there, booked a pod and napped my butt away. The napping space is super quiet. There s a humidifier with essential oils in It, it s big enough to stretch out and have space. The buzzer they give you to wake up definitely helps wake you up. It s just very zen like and very relaxing. The only thing, it s a bit pricey to nap but other then that, great idea!!!
