About Nanotion
Nanotion was founded in June 2010 by Dr. Christopher Latkoczy and Bartjan den Hartogh. Based on a technical development in collaboration with the ETH Zurich and the eawag nanotion commercializes a technology as a service and as an analytical device to detect and characterize nanoparticles in liquid media with the help of Tom Forrer, who is working for the nanotion since November 2010 and who is responsible for algorithm programming and software development and adaptation. Opportunities and risks related to nanoparticles should be controlled as soon as possible. The companyβs aim is to provide a working technology, both to optimize industrial processes and to reduce associated risks within the daily use of thousands products with nanomaterials.
