I was referred to them for an OT home visit as part of a WorkCover claim for some minor home modifications after breaking my leg very badly. The visit was about 6 months after the injury, I was still on crutches, and the OT completely ignored what I said I needed and what every medical professional involved in my care said I needed, only to make extremely dangerous suggestions (that I hold onto tap ware and the shower door handle while getting in and out of the shower, neither of which are designed for someone's body weight), in a bathroom with extremely slippery tiles. She thought it was perfectly acceptable for someone to need to crawl up and down stairs, despite my being in constant pain and a fall risk, (having broken my leg from a fall onto carpet while walking).
Fortunately, I knew enough about plumbing and building in showers to never take her advice, and every doctor, surgeon, physio, and plumber I've told has had a look of absolute horror from hearing what her advice was.
I sent an email as soon as I read the report, only to have the most cursory of replies, with absolutely nothing to suggest that they ever read my concerns about the extremely dangerous recommendations they had made.
AVOID AT ALL COST.
TL;DR VERSION: Ignored medical professional opinions from both doctor and physio to make dangerous recommendations, ignored rightful concerns.
