I regularly visit Myer Brisbane and this often includes using the Ladies' toilet. First, why are these located in a corner of the Menswear? This is not why I am writing. The toilet area itself is old, shabby and grubby. It must be many years since it was built or renovated. Even a thorough cleaning would help but only just.
The staff are mostly nice and they're trying their best. It can be pretty difficult to find someone. But everything is nicely presented and it's quite nice to shop here. Would prefer if they paid better attention to the ethics of their supply chain.
I spent 30 minutes in the men's shirt section and could not find any vanheusen shirts my size. However next day my wife found three. Great store. Clean ,well lit ,clean toilets. Helpful staff we the management let you find one. 3 levels or more of great things to see.
Beautifully set out and huge, give yourself plenty of time. Every brand you can think off. Wonderful offers and specials. Staff have always been friendly and very helpful. All round an enjoyable experience.
Went in to get a pair of shoes but I was unsure of the size/fit. The clerk was very helpful, but without name badges or a lanyard, or any way to figure out who to ask for help it takes a few minutes to figure out who works there. When you figure out who is working there they're very helpful. Was in the queue to checkout, despite the fact that there was only two people in front of me and is not waited at all someone (with a name badge) came and opened up right away.
My friends and I were shopping around the shoes section twice and were rejected of any help both times in a single day. It's understandable if all the sales assistants are busy and are unable to assist us but they would simply brush us off. We are fine with the delayed service but the tone and attitude are just very off-putting. I'm definitely not shopping here anymore and David Jones would a better choice.
Awful store. Plenty of staff actively trying to avoid you. Shopping should not make you anxious and stressed. Having to ask people if it is okay to purchase items. Staff unfamiliar with the returns policy. Spending time and money of people walking around with rabbit ears and an ex MKR activation with an audience if 8 is more important than making sales.
