The food (I had shrimp Athenian) was good and abundant but it took a very long time to come. During this long wait the waiter disappeared and he showed up very little through our stay. I didn't like the service, from the beginning our waiter seemed bothered like he didn't want to serve our table. The place is family friendly as many other rewievs said. We enjoyed talking with the other guests in the tables next to ours, all of them very nice, chilled people.

Food was good. Salad was good. Moussaka was perfect

Best hummus around. Lamb chops are off the charts, and if you're willing to try something new the grilled octopus is prepared perfectly here.

Easily accessable from I-95 and Hwy 441, this restaurant is charming and offers a good value for high quality cuisine. The complimentary hummus is creamy and delicious. Most lunch menu items are under $12.00. The decor is quirky but tasteful; the dining room set up allows all guests to see the adjacent canal. I will definitely return!

Delicious food! Have eaten here for years. I always order appetizers as the platters are large portions which I never finish.

I am a huge fan of Greek food. However, my experience here was not good. To start the woman who greeted us had a rude and unpleasant attitude. We received some bread and hummus to start. The hummus I will admit was delicious. However, the bread seemed stale and cold. We ordered gyro and chicken. The gyro meat was not even warm so it was not appetizing. The chicken meat was rubbery and not edible to me. It seemed like they were getting rid of old food that day and unfortunately we were unlucky. I don't know what happened that day. However, rude service and bad food was too much for me to take. Given other options in the area I don't see myself trying this place again.

Been here 6-7 times, and always was perfect, but last time Gyro Wrap was not the best(2 slices of gyro and bunch of greens). We'll give one more chance in a future.

Absolutely delicious food and amazing service. I work 2 minutes away from MBFGR and I called to order a pickup of a LARGE GREEK SALAD . When I picked it up i was nicely greeted by the employees and my salad was ready in a jiffy . The portion was GENEROUS and they not being cheap on the feta cheese and gave me 2 pieces of bread and 2 small garlic hummus dips. Everything was absolutely delicious and I will definitely come back to get my healthy delicious beautiful salad !!! AVI BARAK , FORT LAUDERDALE-HOLLYWOOD

I was in the area with my husband. So we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. I really liked it.The food is delicious. The service is great. Very good place for family dinner or so. You should totally give it a try. Feels very mom and pop. It's great!

I visited this restaurant 3 years ago before I moved out of state. Today I returned with my daughter (her first time). I was impressed today as I was years ago. The food is awesome, fresh and plentiful. They did not disappoint. My daughter said this was the best Greek food she's eaten.

Great place to eat for lunch! Very quick and the food is consistently good. Many restaurants lack consistency, but this is one that is sticking with it.

The lowest level of service EVER!!!! We ask for fried Branzino fish
we received a fish that has no meat ,very thin , asked to replace , than owner came with very very loud voice and shouted at me " this is a fish i will not replace it " if you don't want to eat , so GO" never experience such a rude behavior , we where so embarrassed , we paid and left
WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN !!!

Food is delicious, but if you're wanting to eat outside near the water, I'd rethink where you'd wanna go because it straight up smells like sewer water.

10 bucks for somrd for some taco cheese looking thing anf then my kids meal gyro was 5 bucks insaid well done fries ..they give me 7 fries totally soggy...like thanks alot u sed over cooked whatwver this chees thing is horriblw i knew i wassnt going to be into thus place i tried to give it a chance first time.hwre. .yuck

The worst experience I ever had in my life. We are there several times before, although the food is tasty the service there is the worst and the owner is rude. He literally asked us to leave because he wanted to sit someone instead of us!!! We were waiting for a waiter to order some desert after sitting there less then an hour (the service was very slow on a Saturday night). They started to fix and clean our table, fix new plates while we where sitting there and asking to order some desert. Not recommended at all!!!

First time here, what a great experience! From the hostess who greeted us warmly and seated us quickly, to Nicholas our waiter, who was funny and attentive, with wonderful food, we will be back. The bread and hummus they serve complimentary started off our delicious meal. Our appetizer was the gyro strips, cooked perfectly well done as requested. Then on to the main course, medium-wrll lamb chops for both of us. Wonderful! Only disappointment was not being able to substitute the roasted potatoes and peas & carrots that came with the lamb chops for another side that I would actually eat. Very rigid on this policy, unfortunately. Nicholas then surprised us with a huge piece of baklava (we shared of course!) As a thanks for our first visit. Thoroughly enjoyed the baklava and espressos to finish off our night. Delightful experience.

This was my first visit, the service was absolutely wonderful, the entertainment of the belly dancer and music gives it the touch of Greece. We ordered appetizer saganaki flaming cheese, octopus salad, Gyro platter, and Lamb special. All of the food tasted fresh and delicious.

Stopped in with my wife for lunch, service was great, food was good with large portions and very reasonably priced, we couldn't ask for more. I would definitely recommend this place.

I LOVE this restaurant. I can't recall having a bad meal here and continue to stop in for take out orders quite often. My friend and I will stop by for Greek Salads to go, and have long admired the containers used. My heart missed a beat the other day when I see you've changed to Plastic containers. I realize you've made the salads smaller now, but the world is drowning in Plastic! Couldn't you just get a smaller Aluminum container so I could continue recycling them with the pride I always have?
Your food is worthy of 5-Stars, but your environmental choices need a more recyclable solution.
As a cost cutting solution - why not ask if plastic cutlery is really needed when getting the order together.

Great food. Incredible portions. Inexpensive. Sitting on the Terrace provides a nice atmosphere. Very nice and attentive staff. We came in early one day and they were very few people. It was freezing inside from the air conditioning. We made a comment to our server and they actually increased temperature. I've never had that happen.

Very authentic Greek restaurant. The only thing that didn't feel authentic was bread served with the hummus instead of PITA bread. Nevertheless, it was good and complimentary. My wife and I shared the gyro platter for lunch, which was plenty of food for two. A nice setting with indoor and outdoor seating on a little river.

Awesome Greek food and a great atmosphere. Usually very little wait even when busy.

We have eaten here many times, but seriously seems worse, and more inconsistent each time. Last night was horrible.
The peas are always bad...overcooked, tasteless mush, the ribs were beyond awful, smelled bad and tasted worse. Dried up, tough, no redeeming qualities.
The lamb shank was overly tomato flavoured. The potatoes weren't browned at all, as roasted lemon potatoes generally are.
You're charged for pita, but given doughy white bread....why not just give pita?
Positives....Greek salad, hummus and live music.
We probably will never return, which is sad as we live nearby.

delicious greek food. two people, two different greek salads ( small plate) both of us were happy with the authentic greek salads. the baklava for desert we had to take home...full bellies. the bread and hummus before the food taste so good, we asked for a second hummus plate, delightful. staff always attentive and friendly. location with enough parking places. inside and outside seating. outside is a small canal next to the place. we saw fish jumping and ducks paddling to our side, to check if there might be a few bread crumbs. pleasant atmosphere. the baklava was unfortunately reduced to a smaller size, the taste: as always...heavenly.
