What a lovely afternoon it was. #Arnhem. Our press card allowed us to take these beautiful photographs of Queen Maxima who officially opened the Musis Arnhem with a gong (see photo).
Het Gelders Orkest performed with kids from 3 local schools and it was an amazing sight. The new Musis concert hall 'Parkzaal' is a great contribution to Arnhem! Please make sure you visit it soon.

In the old room went to Jools Holland.

In the old room went to Jools Holland.
Bad sound, sounded like in an industrial hall.
Setback, especially for that money.
Entrance and foyer unclear routing.
Entrance with "hangar doors" very large.
Do not anticipate calamities, so if those doors falter, you also have a BIG problem, as turned out yesterday. In the Foyer you blew away, outside through the emergency door!

Nice terrace .... right in the center of Arnhem. Friendly, smooth service. The disadvantage is the chairs outside the terrace. 30 minutes Max, then wooden butt. Back everything hurts too. Uncomfortable ....... a shame ... has not been thought about.

Beautiful concert hall and very accessible for disabled people. Prima wheelchair places where wheelchair and attendant / partner can sit comfortably next to each other. Parking garage opposite the theater and also this is wheelchair friendly.

Terribly cold air-wind in my neck. I had problems with it for days, and I was not the only one, during the break visitors took their shawl or jacket out of the wardrobe again. I had reserved seats in the first row, but upon arrival it was told that the seat choice was free. If I had known that I would have come earlier.

Nice room. Big downside is that you are not assigned a seat so you have to stand in line an hour beforehand for a good spot and that even that does not help because they first let us all in, but the hall doors were not open yet we were all waiting fifteen minutes before the doors and when they opened everyone started to run and push to get a nice spot. There were families with children who could not even sit together ... At a theater performance!

Beautiful concert hall with good acoustics.
Too few (but 1) bar open during the break. The room was sold out and there were 2 uninhabited bars. That's too bad.

Nice building, just a little too sleek and modern on the inside but that is personal taste. Good acoustics. Light show may be a little less, we were all too often blinded by the white light that shone right in your face at a very fast pace. But maybe that was part of the band

Concert of Zlatoust, a Russian choir, attended. They had come especially to the Netherlands for this Peace Concert, which was also played by Martin Oei, virtuoso pianist.
We unfortunately found the acoustics to be less good than we had experienced during a concert by Zlatoust in Moscow. The singers also noticed this and had to make more effort.

Beautiful rooms with good sound. Parkzaal has a magnificent view of the park behind the stage. Tip: you can also sit on the balcony next to the orchestra. Nice to see the interaction between the musicians!

Home of the renowned 125 year old Gelders Orkest, which I recently heard being described by a US American composer as one of the best orchestra's in the world. And rightfully so. They are amazing, and despite some harming cuts in funding, they're always spot-on musically and the talented players are clearly passionate about their job. Go see (and hear) them, at Musis or in Nijmegen. They are especially great at Mahler and Bruckner.

Musis features a brand new large concert hall, about which some are very enthusiastic, but I'm not sure if I concur acoustically. The hall is architectually brilliant though, with a glass wall behind the orchestra opening the view to the park next to the hall.

I was there with my mother who had won a prize with a 65+ travel match.
We were 15 minutes late because the region taxi with that bad snow also had delay. The staff of Musis tried to get us anyway with explanation of the reason that we were late due to helplessness.
The person who was traveling 65+ refused to leave us cold in the hall.
The staff member of Musis offered us tea and a place where we could wait for the Regiotaxi back home because it would not be until 3 quarters of an hour later.
All thanks to the friendly staff of Musis.
