Home of the renowned 125 year old Gelders Orkest, which I recently heard being described by a US American composer as one of the best orchestra's in the world. And rightfully so. They are amazing, and despite some harming cuts in funding, they're always spot-on musically and the talented players are clearly passionate about their job. Go see (and hear) them, at Musis or in Nijmegen. They are especially great at Mahler and Bruckner.

Musis features a brand new large concert hall, about which some are very enthusiastic, but I'm not sure if I concur acoustically. The hall is architectually brilliant though, with a glass wall behind the orchestra opening the view to the park next to the hall.
