Great choice of guitars at competitive prices and the staff are really good at there jobs and friendly

The staff are very helpful. There is a very nice selection of guitars: electric, acoustic (including some classical). And accessories. And other instruments (I saw drums, bass guitars, violins, ukeleles and keyboards/electric pianos). And music.

Purchased a second hand amp and wifi accessory at a great price. Delivery was speedy. Amp is outstanding. Slight problem with the accessory. Sent it back, it was replaced at superfast speed. Communicated excellently by phone and email. Brilliant service. Absolutely delighted with my purchase. Well done guys. Thoroughly recommended.

I love this shop I think most the staff are musicians, there all good guys and there all helpful, the place is super layback and all the guitars are beautiful

Incredibly helpful and thoughtful staff/owners. Visited for help with a system their business doesn t specialise in, and despite knowing there wasn t a sale to be made they went out of their way to help us and gave us their time and expertise.

Come here on the odd occasion for strings and plectrums. Very friendly staff and a wide selection to choose from. Would recommend.

Hi guys right I purchased a fender elite telecaster today and I'm totally over the moon with it , it's the best fender I've bought straight of the rack couldn't be happier.
And the service is always brilliant thanks to Lewis for being patient and sorting me out with my guitar and doing me the best deal possible I've bought a few things from this shop and my service everytime as been fabolous even when I took an amp back after a week as it wasn't what I wanted thanks guys.

No refunds policy without highlighting this fact and pretty unhelpful manager which is a shame as the shop floor staff are good but the store is overpriced and lack aftercare. I ll be going to PMT Birmingham from now on far superior and much cheaper! I tried to support my local store but got badly let down.

Pulled the old bait and switch scam. I purchased a new, full priced Ibanez semi hollow guitar. I was sent a old second hand guitar, random box, no paperwork, dirty and heavily used. Even had a old sweet rapper stuck to the inside of the body. Was offered a return with a very vague statement about sorting something out when ask for refund. As I did not want to be placed where I had both lost my money and had no guitar at all I ended up keeping the guitar. Would not recommend buying anything sight unseen from Express Music

Called in as i had seen a pre owned ashbury tenor ukulele advertised. Avery good uke for a very fair price. I put a deposit on it and will pick it up later in the week.
Im only a beginner , the staff were friendly and helpful. I shall be spending more time there without doubt.

It's a very good shop, the staff are professional and really eager to help. They have a wide range of instruments and accessories. They are also skillful in stringing and tuning the guitar. They give useful advice on a range of subjects - what instruments and accessories to choose for various purposes. We use this shop often and are always satisfied with the service.

Had some issues with the courier damaging the guitar I purchased. But all sorted out very quickly and professionally by these guys. Overall very good experience.

Really well stocked store. Most of the staff are very helpful and knowledgable. For Guitar stuff I prefer Noiseworks, but for Pro Audio, Drums, and a wide range to suit all abilities and budgets, this place can't be beat.

I moved to Cov about six months ago and, while initially disappointed that I only had one store in town and it was a fair mission from my location, now make a point of using them rather than the more convenient internets.

The staff there are very friendly and accommodating - twice now I have spent hours playing equipment to help guide my decisions, with as much (or as little) attention from staff as I desired and required. The first was for an amp, so OK they knew I was after a nice hunk of gear. But the second time was for pickups that I wasn't necessarily even going to be able to buy off them, and yet the quality of service was exactly the same.

As well as helping one buy the gear one wants and needs, they are also excellent and quick with repair jobs, and I've used them a couple times to do work I'm too incompetent to achieve myself.

This is a top-notch store with top-notch staff. While they try their best to help over the phone, I have found it invariably best to just go in, bringing my axe with me whereever needed.

If you live in the Coventry area, this should most definitely be your first port of call before you consider going further afield to those bigher, chain-stores.

A rather decent music store, a good range of electrics, a very nice range of acoustics too. Would love to see more amps but I'm being greedy.

Have bought two guitars of late,the staff are most.helpfull have also bought ,strings, and various other spares........

Great shop highly recommend it. Manager Tim ( Top guy) and staff highly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly with great aftercare service

A really great music shop! The staff are friendly and very knowledgable and give the impression that they are there not because they have to be, but because they have a passion for playing music!

They appear to stock a very wide range of instruments and accessories from plectrums and replacement guitar stings to drum kits and pianos!

I'll be back in the next couple of weeks! Need a new guitar!

Fantastic service. I ordered a spare part for my double bass pedal, it arrived in store, they called me to let me know it was there to collect. They did offer a postal service but I don't trust Royal Mail so I collected instead! Friendly, helpful, staff. Top notch!

Service not great. Staff only interested in taking money, not interested in giving any advice on the products they sell. As such I will give someone else my business. It's a shame as I found the people at the Shirley store really helpful but Coventry is closest for me.

visited the express music today to buy myself a tenor ukulele. There was a pretty large selection and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely go back

Outstanding service and knowledge. Despite the challenges brought about by the C19 pandemic, I made an appointment in the run up to Christmas to buy a guitar for my son. Phil gave superb advice - no hard sell/upsell - nothing was too much trouble. He took his time to give a non-player time and attention. I guess that's why they've been there for so long are are a trusted independent. Will definitely use for all future purchases.

I bought a Kawai MP7SE from the store around 18 months ago and recently it started developing an intermittent problem. I sent the shop an email asking for help, but saying it wasn't urgent as I only play for fun...

Within 24 hours and a few emails later, they had escalated the problem to Kawai and arranged for an engineer to come out. Really impressed!

Also FWIW, the engineer has since been out and fixed the keyboard, so thanks all round.

My wife went to find Christmas music for piano and was able to find what she was looking for. Staff courteous and helpful

Visited here for some ukulele research; the guy was really friendly, and struck exactly the right balance of knowledgeable and helpful, with no pressure to purchase. I had a really nice 45mins sat on the floor trying out ukuleles & I'll definitely come back when I'm ready to buy! Thanks
