Musei Civici di Reggio Emilia Review

Museum which, although not of primary importance, contains much material that was by Lazzaro Spallanzani, instrumentation by Angelo Secchi, an important collection of Roman finds. Not least, the reconstruction of the Roman Reggio navigable by Oculus which allows a virtual immersion between palaces and temples, reconstructed in admirable way by archaeologists of Duke University. Classic example of immersion in an augmented reality of rare beauty!

A charming place where you will go back a few decades in the way museums are organized. Interesting exhibits, definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful old museum suitable for families with children

Always beautiful, rich in collections and the staff is very knowledgeable.

Do not miss the ancient naturalistic collections, which preserve the organization of the early 1900s

We were in Reggio with our 3 children and my wife came in to ask about the children's museum. The person at the reception turned to her in an opinionated and annoyed manner, without giving the requested information. The children wanted to go in and see the entrance but we were told not to enter the same person at the reception.

History, nature, science. All for free. Really nice and interesting. During the renovation the upper floors of the building then half-way trip for me. I will definitely return.

Museo con grande potenzialita' ancora inespressa. Bellissimo nella parte storica e antica ma confusa e caotica la parte nuova con accozzaglia di quadri su intera parete (vedi foto) senza spiegazioni decenti e organizzazione di percorsi coerenti e leggibili.
