Murphy's Department Store Review

I would shop at another store if you are setting up a registry.

We put a specific quantity on our registry for several items and the store kept directing those items after the quantity we requested had been surpassed.

Also, the return policy is bad for registries here. You cannot get cash back for any item, so you are stuck with an exchange, and have to pick something from this stores limited selection. (compared to a store like Macy's Dillards, or Bed Bath and Beyond, with more departments.)

We also had a defective product from this store and have to make a day trip to return it, the fact that this store only has a single location should be a huge consideration for anybody who does not live nearby and will not solely have people buying for the registry who live nearby.

Murphy's is such a great store with a friendly and knowledgable staff. Their selection of dishes and kitchen supplies cannot be beat! You can find anything you might need there!

Great kitchen store. They have most kitchen gadgets you could want and the staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. The only down side is they can be a bit pricey.

It took WAY to long to check out. They have a fun variety of goods, but their service is slightly lacking.

Murphy s was the only place I found online that had exactly what I was looking for. My order arrived quickly and well packed. I m very pleased.

I bought a henckel knives set. I was skeptical about their online shopping as I don't want to have any issues especially with the condition of the item or if it's in stock or something. To my surprise, the knives were in new condition and it was as expected and I did not have any problems from ordering to the delivery. I was surprised that it came faster than expected (unlike williams-sonoma, where I ordered February and the item is expected to deliver in October lol!) All in all great experience!

Great Store and Great Customer Service! I will say that they are open from 10:00-7:00. The hours on Google are incorrect.

I came in looking for a cocktail strainer but they were sold out of them. However, the staff went out of their way to help me locate one in Stillwater! Plus they have a very nice clearance section. Their prices on regular items are more than fair too!

I used to love this store. They have a wonderful selection of home and cookware. But when I stopped in yesterday, I overheard a worker being publicly shamed in front of the customers, and coworkers. I was disgusted by the lack of remorse for human life. I will never be going again, and hope others will not support this business.

Murphy's has been in Stillwater forever and it's always been a fun place to shop! They have just about everything you could possibly want or need for your kitchen. I recommend the store to all my friends.

The thing's you'll find in Murphy's... I rarely leave there without having bought something. They have all sorts of cool things you didn't even know you needed! I love their great selection of fiesta ware. Their coffee and tea selection is great and it's always fun to look at their different olive oils and vinegars! If you need a kitchen gadget or just a fun place to browse Murphy's is your place!!

The staff is very friendly and not over bearing. The prices on the items I was looking at was on par, and a few dollars lass, than on Amazon. I was really only looking at knives and cast iron cookware, however. Some really nice stuff, great little department store!

I would not call this a department store, but instead, it seems like an excellent kitchen supply store to me. I have found something I wanted or needed each time I've visited. The only thing I wish it had that it does not to any great extent, are cookbooks. Instead there are recipe journals and recipe boxes, which perhaps reflects a clientele who like to use family recipes. Prices are good her too.

I love this place. They have some of the most amazing items for your kitchen and they have my now favorite tea.

Such a fun kitchen store! All the unique and upscale items you need. For chefs and everyday home cooks. This store is much larger than it looks and has the most interesting items. Always love stopping by.

Great little shop! This is a great place to buy gifts for birthdays, holidays, etc. Has a fairly large selection of kitchen goods. The best part is all the loose leaf tea, coffee, and olive oil! I buy olive oil and earl gray tea from here. Great low waste option, simply bring your container back and get it refilled.
