Murky Waters BBQ Review

Great food and drink, great music, and excellent service. I would have liked the AC set a bit cooler but they can't please everyone. Fully wheelchair accessible with large single user restrooms. I'll definitely go back.

Great smoked chicken wings! Was driving by Hattiesburg and a friend recommended this place so we gave it a try! We had their habanero chicken wings, garlic parmesan and sweet asian wings. They're all great! The fried okra was good as well.

Unreal BBQ! Cannot recommend highly enough. Having grown up in Hattiesburg, I can say this is the best BBQ in town. Try the smoked wings!

The BBQ here is honestly top notch. It s a great atmosphere with great service and even greater food. While I went with a Pulled Pork sandwich, they had many different options available. Very reasonably priced in my opinion as well.

I give 5 stars and a break down of why, for one word of mouth carries Murky Waters well and I was hesitant on trying them because I m not on this side of town as often and I m a connoisseur of wings from a known chain, but I was having a rough day at work and I wanted something different than he usual so I thought wings and you guys popped up. And it was by the best decision I ve made on wings in a long time, the Smokey taste from the grill and the sauce work so well together, now I ordered the Asian sauce in mine and it was good but the Smokey flavor from those wings I should have gotten a sweet bbq sauce it would have just put that over the edge, waffle fries were really good and even the celery was good and cooked, most places just give you raw celery but this was cooked and it was so good, plus walking in and being greeted means a lot as well and I was greeted within 3 seconds of opening the door lol but I definitely suggest this place man like they don t skimp on portions and they were really fast with service as welll, I ll be back real soon with more people

Went for lunch and ordered the combo plate. Forty five minutes later the waiter came and told me they were busy and it would be at least thirty to forty more minutes before i would be served. I explained i had to go back to work and couldn't wait any longer. The manager came and told me they could serve me some. Tuna dip. What. I came for ribs. She told me next time they would do better.. there will not be a next time. Don't know if the food is good. But service sucks..

Excellent food, excellent staff, and reasonable prices all add up to a great meal for my group of 8. We will be back!

Get the 3 meat combo plate! You won't be disappointed.

Good BBQ sauce, adequate pulled pork sandwich. Brisket sandwich didn't have nearly enough meat to be called a sandwich. And when we asked for pickles on the side of the sandwich the waitress said she would see but she had never seen pickles in the restaurant. They did bring a side of 4 pickle slices and charged .25 for them with out even letting us know, just seemed a bit excessive for that. Also the pulled pork nachos were lacking in pulled pork. There was maybe enough to have some on 1/3rd of the chips maybe! But they are still getting 4 stars cause what we had wasn't bad tasting, wasn't inedible but was all kinda lacking in one way or another.

Food, service and atmosphere is awesome! My wife and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon because we talked about it numerous times and gave it a shot. Prices are reasonable and the food seriously was amazing!! I got the pulled chicken sandwich and my wife got a burger. Both were completely perfect! If you have been thinking about stopping, do it!!!

This was great BBQ and really convenient! I can't tell you how the inside of the place is, we sat on the deck as it was a beautiful day! Seriously great food and a lot of it for the money. Our waitress made others look bad and we only had 2 people at our table. That to me said they value the little guy. Bless her she even gave us tea to go! There's no question about us visiting again

Best restaurant experience I have ever had. The food is pricey, but well worth every penny. Amazing service and best bbq in Hattiesburg. I highly recommend.

The wings served here are the best wings I've ever eaten. Period. And I've sampled a lot over the years. They're smoked, fall off the bone, and have an awesome selection of sauces. Dont pass up on the garlic parmesan or the honey BBQ flavors- they're all delicious. And Wing Night Wednesday should never disappear. My friend group plans our week around our staple of wing night.

My only criticism is that at times the live music is LOUD and can prevent being able to have good conversation. But trust me, once the food comes, this is no longer a problem because the conversation stops anyway!

Brisket was dry and had been warmed all day. Ribs were tender but had hardened back to the bone from the wait. For the price a BBQ chain would be a better choice
