Solid club- unbelievably large, food is ok- not fantastic- wine list seems like it is better from years past-as far as the athletic facility its great and seems like they are constantly adding every few years to keep it up to date-- great on number of additions as well---from salon to massage to pilates to classes they cover that well. fantastic for the kids as they have many classes and lessons during school year and camps during summer. Overall I wished the food menus were better and the hours of operation for sports pub was better ( they aren't open during sundays and have some weird hours at times

The best facilities in town, that said, how much money do you have, or will you make, or can you make?

Do you like the idea of having your child inherent your gym membership?

If you answer yes then this place is perfect for you, but Portland might not be.

Always a pleasure to visit the MAC. We were here to attend our annual Kappa Sigma Fraternity Founders Day Banquet to honor our OR District chapters. The food & staff always do a great job of accomadating our needs.

Went to MAC for a racquetball tournament. The staff was very rude to non-members. I/we recognize that members pay a large fee for services, and they deserve priority. However, when athletic and regular entrences empty into the same room and are located 10 meters apart, and a desk worker forces us to go outside and enter the other door in a condescending tone, it is very degrading. Like the members at the club, we also pay a fee to use the facility, and I think we re also deserving respect from the staff. The facilities are very nice, but it s not worth feeling like a second class citizen, in my humble opinion.

This is a place with tradition and heritage of Portland and athletes. They have an excellent chef and a rotating seasonal menu all year long, celebrating many holidays and special events. There is a fancy restaurant, a sports pub and there are even seats overlooking the soccer stadium.

Walked through the front door in the middle of a sunny day with a newborn in a stroller who needed changing and I needed to use the restroom. Hardly anyone at the club. Was turned away due to not being a member. I get that it s an exclusive club, but does your pretentiousness know no bounds? Have the decency to respect fellow humans. Not a club I want to be a part of.

I worked here for years, love the place. The first thing everyone says is how fancy and expensive and nice it it. This is all true. Yet, the staff is paid very, very little. They work very hard to accommodate everyone from formal to summer camp. And they mostly enjoy it, too bad the trickle down economic plan didn't work within this place

Went for a gymnastics meet. It was nice and clean. Parking has a lot to be desired. The area it's located in is scary. Drug addicts, homeless people, and mentally ill all around this place. Couldn't get to my car fast enough.

Only went to the apparently nicer upstairs restaurant. Nice people generally but not a real welcoming vibe. No hats, no phones... Our waiter spoke at us and not to us. They were out of several menu items on a Friday night. The food we got was probably better than average but the service and MIA menu made it so unenjoyable I don't really remember how good it may have been. Although the duck and boullabaise couldn't have been that bad, I ate it all. We rushed through the meal and bolted. Downstairs bar may be more comfortable, lounge over the stadium is cool and the MAC in general is stylish and classy. If your looking for first class food and service I'd say keep looking but who knows maybe we caught an off night.

I came here for a charity auction and talk about a cool facility! I would love to be a member! There are so many amenities, from a bar and restaurant to gym facilities to banquet halls. Such a cool experience!

Such an amazing facility. Members obviously enjoy all the benefits, but if you know a member, you can take advantage of their conference space. ...and the views of the Providence Park are awesome!

Great club and facilities. However, was less than impressed by their staff, one of whom stole a couple bicycles from us. Norman Rich is their general manager was aware of the situation and wouldn't assist. You're probably fine if you join, but consider the risk of if you have any problems at all.

OMG we had lunch here and our friend treated this I had one of the best hot buttered rum drinks and the food was absolutely delightful and delicious lots of kids but since I'm a pediatric nurse I love them we ran into some friends to which made it even more delightful I'm so glad that my friend Barbara has a membership to the Mac

Was here for two tax conferences this week so we utilized the event space and it was great. Very accommodating of large groups. Staff was very friendly and helpful with set up of the space and very efficient with breakdown as well.
The location of MAC is wonderful; right next to Providence Park which is awesome. The interior design of MAC is beautifully laid out. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I m a member here, and I can tell you the club is very great! It is huge, with many things to do. You do have to be related to someone who is already a member to be a member. The food is very good, and has an excellent pub. 3 swimming pools, which 1 of them is a Olympic sized pool. There is basketball, tennis, racquetball, handball, rock climbing, swimming, gyms, weightlifting, yoga, martial arts, running, and much more. If your a member and a timbers fan, there is a deck where you can watch the games for free. Hundreds of events and classes, and lots of places for kids.
