They are great. We have run several events there and they have been helpful and affordable. We are a community volunteer organisation and we can do so much more for our community when they help us host things in the city.

Its a good facility, but the people working there are obsessed with printed forms and making not for profits do excessive paperwork. And this is AFTER they already have all your details, direct debit and have jumped through all their other ridiculous hoops just to get the chance to rent their space. They literally only need the name of the organisation, date, room and is therr a projector or not. They dont have any online form because they are organisationally challeneged. They ask you to print and hand fill in a five page form every time you want to book even if you are a regular user i.e running events / booking rooms on a weekly basis.

GREAT PLACE FOR A WORKSHOP / LARGE MEETING

GREAT PLACE FOR A WORKSHOP / LARGE MEETING
Situated just across Elizabeth St from the Victoria Market, this "hub" offers a variety of meeting rooms for 10 - 50 people.
The rooms are mostly upstairs and are colour coded to help you avoid the embarrassment of making an entrance to the wrong workshop :)
Staff are really very friendly and helpful. Its got a very "community / sharing-caring" feel about it.
Excellent access to public transport via trams and nearby Melbourne Central train station.
Rooms are very light and airy and there isn't much sound conduction between rooms.
There is a reception desk on the ground floor to help get your attendees to the right room.
Lots of good food outlets in the area so its easy to get participants in your workshop to pop out for coffee / lunch.

This building was later out in a rainbow fashion that was super helpful visually when looking for the required room. Although there was a lot of small staircases with no visible disability alternative. Achievements and activities were displayed on the walls
