I am a 1983 graduate and I felt that my educational experience at Muhlenberg was excellent. It is academically very rigorous and challenging, but also socially responsible while providing a very family-like atmosphere. I have had opportunities to go back to the college recently and the changes to the campus with the new buildings and facilities along with the academic upgrades were truly impressive. Muhlenberg to me should be high on anyone's list looking for a top notch education in a supportive, tight knit academic community environment.

On Friday May 31 2019 I did a self-guided tour of Muhlenberg College. I was impressed by the building's architecture. Every building has a red door. I wondered what the significance of that. I find that college campuses make for interesting photo subjects and Muhlenberg College is no exception.

Great liberal arts college with a beautiful, walkable campus. I've been on campus three years in a row at the student union for an unrelated event and enjoyed the many advantages of the campus as a senior adult. Students will like the food. And I hope the education.

Makes enrolling for adults extremely stress free, always friendly and willing to help with any issues, and open later than I would have expected if you need anything. Professors teaching in the program are dedicated to their students, and with small class sizes can work closely with everyone so you get a good experience.

Updated 5.26.19. So, our daughter's 4 years are finished. She graduated with honors, dual major and one minor.
If you're considering this school, this review might be helpful - impressions for incoming year + impressions on graduation.

My downsides about this school: (1) the hideous online tuition "management" system they use (2) how dramatically tuition went up over the four years. And frankly, I did not see those increases reflected anywhere on campus. But to be fair, that's probably true on every college campus in the US

Graduation itself was as close to perfect as it gets. Baccalaureate the night before was beautiful and moving. Commencement itself was efficient. Pres Williams remarks were insightful and apolitical. The kids picked their own student speakers and chose very well. Scott Turow gave the commencement address, which was a treat. In short, it was as everything the past 4 years has been - human, kind of elegant, intimate, and wholesome. Our take: we made a great decision sending our daughter here.

We fell in love almost instantly. It's a beautiful traditional looking campus.
At first we thought maybe too small. The trade-off for that is in a staff and admin that actually knows the students - one-on-one. Seriously. Our daughter is a dual theater/English major minoring in French. This is one of the very few schools we saw that encourages dual, let alone allows it. And they back that up with the support to get it accomplished. This was very important to me with a theater major child. I can't speak to campus life, because I'm a parent. But our suburban NYC daughter, a city kid through and through, absolutely loves the school and her non-academic life.

My alma mater. Great college for anyone interested in the sciences or arts. Small but lively campus. Dinning hall is great and has kosher options. Theater program one of the best. Check it out.
