This place has a lot going for it. The campus is beautiful and the classrooms are comfortable and tuition is reasonable. I recommend you check it out yourself. Very nice for a community college .

I was at Mt. Hood Community College for the first time this weekend for the state track meet. Seems like an okay campus but the facilities generally seemed clean/well kept. The most notable feature was the large dome that their basketball gym is housed in, I can imagine it would be a fun to see a game there.

I was there in 1970-1972. The school was just in the process of being built. It was a great transition from high school to college. Beautiful campus!

You have to take the bad with the good. There are some great people who work for this school, then there are people who could care less bout you and your education. They make you jump through hoops and pass you around with little to no help. This has been my experience so far, passes around to at least 3 advisers in one month with little to no contact.

Overall it's a super great school! Absolutely love the resources available to me as a student, parking isn't bad, and there's a wide selection of classes to choose from considering how far out we are (I'm sure PCC and other schools in the inner city have more options).

Instructors are pretty hit or miss and if you "miss", boy, is it a miss, but the good instructors here are golden and really an asset to your college learning.

Word of advice... Register for classes EARLY. And try to take morning classes. The earlier you get here, the better. If you leave, your spot will NOT be open when you get back. Even the handicap lot, those spots go fast too.

Amazing college and the staff I've come across are really nice, understanding, and flexible if need be. I'm proud to say I'm a MHCC Saint and that I chose this school as my home away from home to become a forestry major.

The teachers are great and the campus is nice but trying to get financial aid during COVID is impossible. The financial aid advisors are rude and don t seem like they want to help you at all. Just because of this reason I will not be recommending MHCC to any of my friends and would suggest to go to Clackamas Community College where they are much, MUCH more helpful.

I've been coming to the "Mount Hood School of Cosmetology" since 2012, because I've a good head of hair to volunteer to these students for practicing and honing their skills! Always an incredible experience, and I love the relationships I've been honored to participate in between instructors and students!

Beautiful Campus. Affordable tuition. Most teachers are great teachers and great to work with.
