Hands down one of the best brewery and restaurants that I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Amazing beer and amazing food, everyone that works there is unbelievably friendly and enjoyably to chat with. The food is healthy and interesting, with options for all walks of eaters! Apparently there are several locations which is assessing because the world needs more of these places! Don't go changing now Mountain Sun!

They only take cash or check. Not a big deal but odd. Good food, great beer.

It's pretty good. It was pretty cramped and noisy when we went, but the food and beer were pretty good, and the prices were actually pretty reasonable for the area. They don't take any cards, though, so be ready for that.

Unfortunately the food (burger and fries) was average. They did have an impressive selection of beer. The staff were a little over attentive, but there was a good atmosphere and everyone was friendly. They don't accept card but the karma system was cool.

I totally understand why people like this restaurant and it really is quintessential Boulder. However, it's consistently too loud to have decent conversations and has surprisingly few dairy-free options.

Definitely good for beer and a delicious meal if you don't mind raising your voice and do not have allergies!

Mountain Sun is a great place to grab a burger and a beer. However, I'm not sure why they are still cash only. If they are trying to be trendy, it's not working; just inconvenient.

Wonderfully quirky but not quite hipsterish atmosphere with and awesome burger and good beer. The staff is really friendly and funny. I really enjoyed it and would love to come in again.

We love this place food is always good lots of choices love new locations this place is fun finger food my kids always want to go here the plates are 10-20 so come prepared to drop some cash if you have a family but it's worth the occasional treat the menu is burgers and fries with a twist if the world.

My boyfriend and I recently celebrated our 3rd anniversary here (it's where we had our first date), and Steph along with the rest of Mountain Sun took the time to make it extra special!!

The food is incredible and the environment is friendly.. an absolute MUST when in Boulder!

My first visit there I didn't realize it was cash only and the server offered the ATM in the back, or we could mail a check later. Honor system to the max!!! Love the fries too :)

Great selection of beers, unlimited free beer taste tests, and great burgers. Had the Buffalo burger, probably the best Buffalo burger I've ever had.

Beers were pretty good, food was pretty good. They don't take cards, so we didn't order a full meal.

This place will always have a special place in my heart. It's a cool spot with always great staff, and the Porters and Stouts are always excellent. Great food completes the experience. Boulder's beer choices can almost seem unending, so make sure you don't forget this gem on Pearl.

The tempeh reuben is the greatest food item known.
Cash only, which is somewhat inconvenient, but they've got an ATM with a low fee.

Really enjoyed this place. Our waiter brought us tons of different beer samples based on our preferences. He just kept bringing samples till we settled on some we really liked. No pressure to make a decision and infact he was encouraging us to try them all. He was also knowledgeable about beer and loved to talk about each brew. The food was also amazing. We had a grilled Buffalo chicken sandwich that was very tasty. The prices were very reasonable and I loved that I could get a half pour. Just remember to bring cash as they don't take credit.

Hole in the wall kind of place, but it's my kind of spot. The server could talk beer and the selection was funky. The people watching is great from the outdoor seating.

Excellent place for a few beers! Homemade fries were excellent! And the burgers were cooked just right. Nice family (children are grown ) evening.

However, you walk in, and a sign reads, "Wait list is at the bar." The manager who decided this is a good idea must be missing a chromosome. The way things are handled from that point is so chaotic that it's not worth coming back, regardless of the awesome paintings.

And they don't take credit cards.

Go to Walnut Brewery, West Flanders Brewery, or the Sink. You'll have a great time if you do!

Great craft beers, amazing food (try the date night burger) & a fun, eclectic atmosphere

The food was delicious and the staff was attentive and courteous. The only reason I gave them less than a 5-star review is because they don't take cards. Even though they have an atm on location, it's still a hassle and one dollar extra for using it.

Excellent service. Had tasters of all their beers at no charge. Liked 5 out of the 20 on tap. Devoured the food pretty quickly, so must've been good. Will have to remember that they don't take credit/debit cards but there's an ATM down the hall.

Been here a couple of times and the bar staff is always outstanding. They encourage tasting so you make sure you get what you like and they have some of the best tasting beers in the area. The most recent time we were hanging out in the bar area they just gave us a plate of fries (extra order from someone else they said but we think it's because they are awesome). This is our go-to while in Boulder and should be yours too.

Always good food, specials keep things new so you can go back again and again and anyway the beer is good too. Plenty of games to play while you hang out and eat.

A friend recommended that I stop by and get a Junk Burger. I'm so glad I did. It was amazing! David made some great suggestions and his service was excellent. I highly recommend the and the too. I had the Belgian Red.

This place is amazinggggggg, been here about 4 times now, always a good experience, good place to kick it and chill and B.S. with your buddies. Try the new java coffee porter .It's not on the menu!

Very friendly atmosphere, wide selection of local and international beers, very good food options. I particularly appreciated the bison burger with blue cheese. They also offer you free fries while waiting for being seated.

The service here is absolutely amazing! The beer is great, and the bison and chorizo burgers are to die for! I'm so glad we walked into this place! We are definitely coming back next time we're in Boulder.

Tasty Grilled cheese with bacon and tomato along with tomato bisque soup.

They seem to charge extra for everything. I ordered chips and salsa was an up charge. I really didn't like it that they charge extra to get a vegetarian patty for the burgers.

Was looking for a light lunch that day. Half BLT with tomato soup was excellent. A but pricy for what you get, but very good. I look forward to coming back when I can try the beer.

Really, really tasty food and great beers. The environment is a little chaotic, and the servers struggle to keep up with what's going on, but they're friendly and eager. On my last visit, the server who took my check and $20 bill never returned with change on a $16 tab. No big deal, but I thought it was odd. Remember... CASH ONLY.

Service was friendly and attentive. Food came out fast and was delicious. Beer was great, try a kind ale. Got pretty cool merch as well grabbed a few t's. Didnt have my size in the shirt I wanted and the guy ran up to the office to grab one for me.

Came in for lunch on a Wednesday with a group of 4. There was a mix up with our order but the manager gave us a heads up and went above and beyond to correct the issue and we had an amazing experience. We were visiting from North Carolina and we never recommend it to all. Food was fantastic, wish I could find a place like this local to me.

By far one of the best places on the face of this earth. Beer and staff are incredible. The food is fantastic as well. Great environment and super unique.

This place was amazing! I sat at the patio bar, and although it was packed my server was quick and attentive. I had the bean burrito, and being that I eat a plant-based diet I had it without any meat or cheese. It was really good. A bit heavy on the onions, so next time I ll ask them to go light, but overall it was a great experience. I will for sure be coming back!
