Service a little lax but it's a late night college town joint so what can you expect. Ambience was great and there are games and cards so a good place to chill with beer. The grilled cheeses are good and greasy and the French fries are pretty awesome. Good beer selection too and it's open later than most things in Pearl. The kitchen does shut down so get your order in!

Beer was pretty good and unique. They let you do tastings before you pick a beer to commit to. The pork blt sandwich was AMAZING. I would come back just for the fries too. Pretty crowded so expect to wait at least 30 min for a table but it s worth it.

People always ask me when they visit: "Where should we eat to get the 'Boulder Experience'", and this is the place. Dreadlocked white people, Techbro's in full on patagonia gear, flatbill hat wearing cyclists, spaced out college students spending their parents money on beer and hamburgers. They keep it cash only to scare away the corporate shills. I love this place. The beer is always pretty good and the burgers are some of the best in town. Get the Junk Burger.

Fabulous good. Had burgers and fries, zhared their surprisingly excellent quesadilla. The product coming out of their brewery deserves regional recognition than I've seen in Colorado beer festivals. Service is great, atmosphere is fun. Would recommend.

The people working there are always friendly and helpful, the beers are amazing, and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. Just be prepared for a wait, and remember to bring cash unless you plan to use their ATM.

Large fries is large. And they were fresh potatoes this morning. Server well informed and patient enough for even high-maintenance types like Mason. Hot and reasonably quick out of the kitchen. And the beers here are solid. Nothing to complain about, I guess. My first Boulder experience was a win.

Food and beer was fine, but not impressed. Staff operates as a team and the service despite that was not great. Place is always packed so I thought we'd try it but left not wanting to ever go back.
Service was friendly and attentive. Free samples of any beer! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. I ordered a spicy bloody mary ($7) and a veggie burrito with green chili sauce (<$10). Both were delicious and huge servings.
Nice & relaxed atmosphere with good beer & food. Best tofu I've ever had, which came on the large Thai Tofu Salad. The hummus is awesome & comes with chips- which I'd never had with hummus before- & they paired surprisingly well. However, some of the veggies were a bit too wilted for me to eat. Overall a great place.
I really like the food here, and their drink selection is usually pretty decent as well -they brew their own beers :) The downfalls are that they only accept cash and checks (no cards), and there is ALWAYS a wait.. and nowhere / no space to wait!

I've lived in Boulder for my entire life, and I know food and restaurants around here. This is absolutely the best food, the best beer, the best prices, and some of the best service you can hope to find around town. Don't pay attention to negative reviews unless you are thinking of wait times, which can be quite long (up to an hour), but if you're in the mood for excellent food and beer at great prices, this is absolutely the place to be. I recommend everything. Even the veggie entrees are amazing. Go here and love it!
They do not take credit cards, but do have an ATM on site. The burgers are tasty, the beers are cold, and the service is friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. Our party of w sat at the communal table and had a lovely time sampling beers. The food it decently priced and flavorful.
This is a very popular place! We squeaked in and got the last open table on a Tuesday night. The food was great, the drink selection was good too, and the atmosphere was lovely -- very artsy and homey. The service was really friendly too. Definitely recommended!

Went in expecting a long wait with the amount of people flowing in and out, but we were seated right away and the service was great! They have a few vegan options (the veggie burger is not vegan)...I tried the tempeh reuben without cheese and it was pretty good!

Super chill atmosphere and teamwork lead service sometimes lead to inconsistent service however very friendly. Beers were good and restrooms were clean. Desert ordered wasn't available however their menu had a nice variety of options.

My selfish side wants to tell you this place is garbage so there will always be an open seat for me, but my honest side won here: this is the best brewery this side of the Milky Way. Seriously, if you've been to Boulder and didn't come here you should seriously reevaluate your decision making skills over a beer (preferably at Mountain Sun).
Super slow service, I know they don't assign servers to tables but that means no one is checking on you and you have to flag someone down. The beer was also really warm. Second time I've been here and won't be coming back.
Mountain sun is a Boulder classic and has a great environment. If you are vegan check out the vegan Ruben sandwich they have. Not the largest portion of food but is pretty tasty. Great selection of beers and nice staff. Definitely worth checking out!
Had the Bison Burger and a Kolsch and both were excellent. However, they don't take credit cards (WHAT???), so make sure you bring cash.

This was my favorite meal of my entire week long Colorado vacation. We got a flight of 6 beers and each was FANTASTIC. Best craft beers our entire trip. I also got the Date Night Burger with peppers, bacon, goat cheese, and a date pure. It was the best burger I ve had in awhile.
