Mount Saint Charles Academy Reviews

Please read the other reviews that the "no trans" reviewers have posted elsewhere. They have no idea what this school is about and communicate at an 8th grade level, clearly they did not attend this school.

Although Mount is centered around the Catholic religion the staff here is accepting and supportive of people of all religions. The education here is specifically aimed at preparing a student to function at a college academic level. Each student is tasked with a substantial amount of work and his or her level of responsibility scales with his or her grade level and age. The school helps to take the shock out of the initial year of college by easing students into responsibility and accountability as they age. I waited 15 years to attend college but I was very surprised at how much of my high school education here was relevant to my college education.

I won't take away stars here but the tuition has become nearly unaffordable for working class people. It has definitely become a school where wealthy people send their kids. When I went here it was approximately $5k a year around they year 2000.

If you want an education where you learn true Christian values, compassion, and acceptance of all regardless of race or gender- look elsewhere.

Edit: I attended Mount for 6 years and am a graduate of the school. Looking through reviews, I'm seeing some five star reviews written by Mount Saint Charles teachers pretending to just be parents of happy students. That should prove the integrity of the staff at this school.

I feel bad for the students here..

Probably the best small private school in New England. The community is remarkable, kids are amazing and teachers truly care. My daughter went here and is currently studying at Sacred Heart University in the 3+3 program to achieve a doctorate in PT. Mount prepared her for success! She was able to not just be accepted into this highly competitive program, but received a huge 4 year scholarship as well. Thanks Mount!

Looking for proactive change by the administration including a curriculum that acknowledges ACCURATE Black history, and promotes a more inclusive environment.

The best decision we made was to give our daughter the opportunity to experience Mount. She has thrived! We love it!
