Hopefully the amount of care they will give your pet is better than the care and concern they will have for you as the pets owner. Please pack your patience and take a book or other such distraction as they will leave you sitting for hours with no communication. And don't ever think they will pick up the phone if you call. After sitting on hold for over 1 hr...on the EMERGENCY line ...I decided to just drive there and demand my dog back.

And please question every charge they will try to make you pre-pay for. I get every business is for profit, but my experience here was the worst in all of my 60+ years on this planet. It almost seemed like they had no clue nor real diagnostic plan. It was purely let's put in every test we can possibly charge the customer for and see it they will hand over their credit card in their moment of worry.

They will blame it all on covid... but check the online reviews and BBB...you will see complaints very similar to the above going back to before the pandemic. I just wished I had taken the time to check all of those before I took my pet there in her time of need,

We unexpectedly had to put our dog down and it was one of the most traumatic experiences I ve had. Not just because we had to say goodbye so suddenly, but because of how shockingly cold the vets were. I really felt like just a number to tick off for the night. It was almost like I were bothering the vet for just being there and she rushed through everything. Being told I have a surgery to do, are you ready? Seriously? You can at least pretend like you care about our situation. The vet didn t even bother trying to give me a comforting word before abruptly leaving the room and I never saw her again after that. It honestly makes me wonder what my dog went through when I couldn t see what they were doing to him. Their only saving grace is their vet techs. They actually seem like they care and the one that looked after me after we put our dog down was very kind and compassionate. I had to do it alone and I refuse to tell my husband the details because it ll upset him even more than he already is. I ll never go back to MLAH and I won t recommend it to anyone. They can try to blame covid for staffing issues or being overwhelmed but I had to bring my cat there a few years ago and I remember the vet being aloof and almost eager to put my cat to sleep back then. I thought it was a one off thing but apparently I was wrong. My cat is thriving and perfectly healthy now, by the way.

I've never been to this facility until last night when we had to put my best friend down. Truly it is such a beautiful place to say goodbye. Gorgeous grounds with animals, very nice inside, and the people are beyond competent and kind. It was a peaceful, humane, and comfortable experience for her. They didn't force the decision and gave us so much time to love on her. They even let me hold her while it happened too which was such a gift. I was a mess and everyone was so gentle. We went home with two little paw prints to keep. Great end of life care.

We took our 13 year old dog there late last night. Unfortunately she had to be put down but these people were so caring, passionate, and sympathetic. The whole process went so smoothly. The lady behind the counter, Sherry, is an absolutely amazing woman. From speaking to her on the phone, to getting there and dealing with her in person was truly a blessing. The Vet tech who came in, I do not remember his name, but he was so gentle and sweet to our little girl. He had such a calm and warm energy about him, she went right to him. And the vet who came in, again I don t remember her name, but she explained the whole process with such a calming voice. She let me hold my girl and snuggle her while she closed her eyes for the last time. I couldn t have asked for any better group of people that could have helped us say our last good byes to our previous baby. Thank you all there who helped make the whole process a smooth one.

It's extremely hard to find a reptile (herpetologist) specialist. They call them Exotic specialist there and they have taken excellent care of my reptiles (Savannah Monitors) I would recommend them to anyone who has a reptile that needs help. They are caring, knowledgeable and it's obvious they love what they do and have a genuine concern for their patients.

What an experience, the Covid protocol is efficient and easy, the service is exceptional and you can really tell everyone loves and treats each pet as if it were there own. I recommend this hospital to everyone I know who has a pet. I have never had to use their emergency services, thank god, but I hear they are the best at that as well.

Excellence beyond any possible expectations.

Excellence beyond any possible expectations.
We had a dire emergency.
The staff was unbelievable!
I have never seen so much care, concern and fast professional action. The staff worked like a well oiled team of SuperHeros.
Unfortunately our boy Sampson did not make it.
But the professionalism, empathy and genuine care was second to none.
Words cannot express our gratitude at how your staff tried desperately to save Sammy.
We will never forget how you tried to save his life.
The staff was spectacular.
Halley is completely amazing.
I only wish I knew more names to give proper thanks and sincere appreciation.

Don't take your pets to Mount Laurel Animal Hospital unless you want to see them come home in a bag (for a price- of course). I worked for a local farm in the area and this was when I had my first bad experience. So many animals worsened after their care here. Second, my friend had them run thousands of dollars of tests on her relatively young bird and the next morning it was dead. Now, my boyfriend's cat (3 years old) became sick. He drained his entire life savings of several thousands of dollars to have him checked and they couldn't tell him what was wrong (which I have heard this place is notorious for) and we had to put him down. Now we cannot pay bills for a while and have to borrow money because of these CROOKS selfishness. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY. Oh, after draining his bank account they also refuse to give him his cats ashes unless he coughs up another $300. HE JUST LOST A FAMILY MEMBER. Mount Laurel Animal Hospital you should be absolutely ASHAMED of yourselves. You are not vets or animal lovers- you are money hungry thieves and can't even diagnose your patients. SHAME ON YOU!

Honestly I d wait hours if I had to, to be seen. Everyone I encountered even just over the phone had all the love towards my Frankie (even caught the nurse/tech baby talking her when she carried her inside). I work in an OR and I understand the levels of stress and the staff here handle it amazingly well!
