Customer service isn t their finest. A sales rep called me to inform me of Memorial Day sale going on and when I told him thanks but no thanks , however I do need an oil change, instead of scheduling or even transferring me over to the service dept. , he told me he couldn t help with that but to let him know if I wanted to purchase a new car. OK! Made an appointment for my car to be looked at to determine how much if a repair was needed, was told it cost $60 just for them to diagnose it (though I already told them what was wrong since another mechanic told me) AND was told in shop that it would take 3-4 hours for the mechanic to even look at my car despite my appointment! How is that possible!?! Make an appointment to wait around 3-4 for someone to just look at (not repair or do anything), just diagnose it!?! Who does that? What business does that!? Lastly, they used to have complimentary snacks, now just Costco water. Complete failure in the customer service dept! Never ever again will I buy from here or drive cross county to this dealership!

Great Place to purchase a car! The true definition of the customer is always right. What we wanted we got. The whole staff is friendly from our salesman Skylar who helped us out tremendously always looking out for our benefit. While the manager Joey is an excellent guy remembering people and very attentive to his clients. Would definitely recommend going here if anybody is interested in purchasing a new car.. Great Deals Great People!

Pedro and Brendan (great name by the way) were truly exceptional with the product knowledge. the managers were wonderful too, Bryan cimicatta was easy to deal with which is strange because he said he was from newark new jersey and i have never met such a sweet heart.
got a great deal on my new f-150 which was truly pain free, they honored the pricing they sent me and the transaction went smoothly 10/10

Billy Weinmann was awesome! He listened to exactly what we wanted, everything was very straight forward and he took all the stress out of buying a car. The whole experience was great, from the time we entered the lot, till the time we drove off with our new car. We definitely recommend working with Billy Weinmann, though everyone were friendly!

Jimmy Naranjo is one of a kind. Came here randomly to look at cars to pass time and one month later ended up financing my first car. Jimmy was the first person to greet me in the lot and really took care of me. Answered all of my questions at any time of day that I asked and really worked with me to make sure I got what suited me. Everything negative that I had heard about the car buying experience did NOT exist with Jimmy. Very friendly, genuine, and personable

I had a few issues that had to be resolved when we purchased our last 2 vehicles from Mossy in March 2017. They took care of my issues and concerns but it took a few months. Josh Rippo and Jerry Lizarme were great people to work with during the sales process. I would also like to give a special thanks to Mossy Ford's customer relations manager Raeann Benavente. Raeann worked with us through the process from the beginning to end and treated us like family members. I appreciate all the time and effort she put into resolving our problems. I recommend buying your next Ford from this dealership.

These guys are really nice. The seating lounge is comfortable, and has a TV, free bottled water, and an excellent free gourmet coffee/hot cocoa machine. When I bought my used truck here, I felt the guys truly went out of their way to make me happy - the buffed a scuff from the fender, found me an old manual that wasn't in the car to begin with, and treated me with respect. The parking lot is a little challenging to get into.

Bought here a used car not even 2 months ago. They promised me that the car was running fine. Now after not even 2 months the battery is dead and outside warranty, so it will cost me more than $300 to replace it. The battery was clearly already bad 2 months ago, so they cheat me. Of course when I tried to speak with the manager to ask him to cover the cost since they fooled me he didn't pick up the phone. This is not how you make business. Cheaters.

normally i dread the process of buying a new car, it s stressful and overwhelming. I ve been to at least 4 local dealerships lately looking for a larger vehicle and my experiences have been less than satisfactory. Mossy Ford was a breath of fresh air, Brendan was attentive and listened when i was explaining what i needed and wanted and went aboice and beyond to find the perfect fit. I seriously couldn t be more excited or happy with my experience.

I had a very positive experience buying my car at Mossy Ford. Starting with Mac: his demeanor was exactly what I needed to put me at ease and make me feel respected. He took me on my test drive, got my financing started, and even helped me transfer my belongings from my old car to my new one, and then set up my bluetooth for me. He was chill and easy to talk to. I was pretty skittish at previous dealerships last week, but I never felt like running from Mossy. I also appreciated the other salesmen's friendliness and helpfulness. I had a long wait, and Gus and Mac both chatted with me to help the time pass. When I forgot my gate sensor in my old car, it was also Gus who found it and drove it back to the lot in case I needed to look for anything else I might have forgotten. Every other person I interacted with was also genuinely friendly and personable. I love my new-to-me Jetta: thank you, Mossy Ford, for a great buying experience!

Dropping off your car for service at Mossy Ford is great for people who are into astrophysics. It's the closest you'll ever experience a black hole.

I dropped the truck off and requested the 30k mile service, and that they look into a couple other issues, and provide a quote on new tires.

5 weeks later... They have never called me without me calling them first. I still don't have my truck back, and it's under warranty! Many times I'm told I'll get a call back later in the day with an update and not once has that happened. I never got that quote on tires. My rep has been nice when I call, but it's like my car sits in a corner without progress unless I call.

I think what I'm trying to say is, stay away. They cannot deliver on any promises, not even call backs. I'm sure they work hard but it's overshadowed by the lack of communication or concern.

Jeff, Dennis and there manager Scott got me a deal were I got the brand new version of the car I wanted for almost the exact same price and a great interest rate even with me having not so great credit !!!!They were very honest and fair I had a very good car buying experience highly recommended!!!

Can I give this place negative stars? They deserve it. I brought in my Focus to fix some brake issues, got a phone call a couple hours later saying an employee had crashed my car into another, and that my car was totaled. The damages THEY CAUSED were more costly than the vehicle s value, so they would not be doing any repairs. They did not offer a fair price for my car or any help in getting a new one.

Mossy Ford is the best place to go if you're buying a car. If you go there, I highly recommend that you ask for Jimmy. He's absolutely amazing and takes the stress out of buying a car. Also, he's probably the most knowledgeable person in the auto industry and was able to answer all my questions when most sales guys don't know the answer.

Just wanted to post that Mossy Ford's service department was absolutely incredible with the help they gave recently. Especially huge shot out to Josh. I had a fiesta that had been serviced by 2 other ford dealerships with no solution. Mossy was able to fix the car quick, communicate with me what they were doing, and explain what all the issues were. Honestly a perfect service experience.

My wife and I recently bought a C-Max from Mossy Ford through the USAA program. Marcus Jackson was the salesperson who helped us find the car we wanted. He spent almost 2 hours showing us the features of the car, taking us on a test drive, and answering questions before we made a decision. He followed up a couple days later and asked us to stop by for a tutorial on the My Ford Touch system if we had any questions. We did that today, and he was very helpful in answering our questions. The other staff we dealt with during the sales process was also helpful. In summary, one of the best car buying experiences we have had.

I went to about seven dealerships and test drove twice as many cars in my search for a new car. My experience at Mossy Ford was by far the best. Jimmy Naranjo listened to everything I was looking for and didn't try to steer me towards anything I didn't want. He was extremely low pressure and made the whole process a breeze. Not only did he get me into a great new Mustang GT, he was able to get it for me at a competitive price. He truly went above and beyond to give me an amazing customer experience and I can't think of a single way he could have made it any better. If you're in the market for a new car, be sure to ask for Jimmy!

STAY AWAY! Our electrical job from Mossy wasn't grounded properly and our electrical components 100% cut out while we were driving on the freaking highway. Luckily no bodily harm happened but we're stranded in Lone Pine CA aka the middle of nowhere.

These guys are awful. STAY VERY FAR AWAY. We have taken it here twice thinking the first time was a fluke. Please please please stay away from this place.

We have a Ford F150 and have had the truck for almost 4 years with absolutely no problems until we took it here.

Having moved to San Diego from New Hampshire, we've been here for around a year and needed to take it in for regular maintenance (oil change/etc). In NH we took it to a place called Sullivan Tire regularly and the service was always amazing.

When we started taking it to Mossy Ford that's when the problems started happening.

Again, we have *never* had a problem with the car and have always taken it in for regular maintenance, and all or a sudden weeks after we took it to Mossy our starter stopped working out of nowhere. So we had to get it towed back to Mossy. We thought nbd, because it's just a coincidence.

NOPE. A few days after we took it in and paid $600 for a new starter we broke down in the middle of nowhere California. The electrical tripped because the wiring wasn't properly grounded.

Honestly I'm not sure if the mechanics here are just dishonest, unskilled, or they want your car to fail so you have to purchase a new one.

DO NOT GO HERE.

Location: Upgraded, clean.
Personnel: Uniformed, clean.
Vehicles: Well displayed, accessible, clean.
Inventory: Accurate per website, Ford discounts shown.
Environment: Not a single employee seemed in a bad mood, at least if they had a bad day it was not displayed to the customers.
Customer Service: This is the deal breaker for me. This is where an individual can give a business a bad reputation just because he or she had a bad day. I felt like we were the only customers around and my wife s and I needs were the only thing that matter.
What makes this business great it s the employees; the family they have created!

Jake answered my questions and Sales Manager Dennis, made the offer, that I couldn't refuse!! My Sales Rep, Paulette Beach was extremely helpful... she got to know me and my needs before I even came in and had a list of options ready when I arrived! She helped us to find solutions to get me exactly the SUV that I wanted with a package full of features that I didn't even know existed. We drove 2 hours to Mossy Ford because I was looking for a very specific set of options and they happened to have a match. This was a used car purchase, and I did all of my initial inquiry online. Max in internet sales was terrific, realized that I was a serious buyer and didn't waste my time with dealership tricks or negotiating a monthly payment. He knew it was going to come down to what they offered me on my trade and he came back with an offer ~$3,000 more than I was expecting. Patrick in finance was great as well. We asked for an option contract so that we could go back to our local credit union, he was still very helpful and honest and did his best to get us a competitive rate.
While they are too far away for service, I would definitely go back to purchase another car and will recommend to all my friends.

Very bad experience. I ordered a part for my Ford Mustang. They said it would take up to one month to get it. I agreed to wait and provide all the information they needed. Unfortunately I didn't get anything after one month. Their representative just told me that they don't see my order and I have to wait one more month. What a joke. I called the manager and left a voice message. Still no reply. Wow.

Bought a vehicle from these folks a few days ago. The whole process was accommodating and seemless. I started with Jake and Fernando; they were low pressure, open, knowledgeable and personable. They had answers to all my questions, and worked with me throughout the process without ever being "pushy". During my back and forth with the dealership, I also worked with two finance managers Niroko and Ali, an internet sales rep Victoria, and also Suzanne who took my credit app. I was pre approved through my bank, but Ali found me a cheaper rate by a full percent. All in all it was a great experience, a fair and competitive price, and an on the ball team who communicated and worked together to get my deal done. I love my great unique vehicle, and I highly recommend this dealership.

Here s the short version of my review: Add me to the list of reviewers who wish Yelp [Google in this case] had a zero star rating and who also walked out of the Mossy salesroom door and drove up to Kearny Pearson Ford for a proper car-buying experience.

I spent a good amount of time researching 2014 automobiles. After completing the research, I came to the conclusion that there was one particular Ford model and some particular features that were must-haves for me. This was a $30,000+ purchase I was considering why would I settle for anything less? I called Mossy Ford, the closest Ford dealer to my home (less than 5 miles away), and they said they didn t have what I wanted on the lot but that they could get it for me. When I showed up, it became clear that they just wanted to get me into the showroom to work their magic. The first clue that my potential purchase was about to go badly was the loud music in the parking lot I wish I would ve just turned around and left at that point. Upon entering the showroom, I was even more alarmed that the same music was blaring even more loudly. Why would a professional, new-car dealership play music so loudly that you could barely hear yourself talk? And why I didn t leave at that point is something I m still pondering. After the initial shock, things really began to spiral in. Imagine your worst used-car sales nightmare at the sleaziest used-car lot you know my Mossy new-car experience was easily on a par with that! Here s what I experienced: Bait and switch; multiple, rotating salesmen; good-cop, bad-cop; being browbeaten about my must-have features; and being made to sit for no good reason except to increase the apprehension that I might not get a car at all. And all of this happening with that loud music playing, the only purpose for which I can imagine is psychological, i.e., to get Mossy customers to buy something anything if only to get out of the showroom.

My story does have a happy ending though: I did eventually come to my senses. I left Mossy s showroom and drove up to Kearny Pearson Ford (just a couple of more miles further my house than Mossy). In very little time and with a high level of professionalism, they found and sold me a car that met all my requirements even though they had to get it from another dealership. I have the car now, and I still can t believe that I listened, even for a minute, to the Mossy salesmen as they tried to talk me out of the features that I now have and love.

Time is short for everyone, and for that reason I have to admit that I very rarely write reviews but when I do, it s because of a really positive experience or an extremely negative experience. Please, if you do decide to go to Mossy Ford despite my review and all of the other negative reviews, print out this post and take it with you as a guide to what s about to happen. Even in the unlikely event that Mossy Ford reads this post and turns down the music, I don t expect the rest of the Mossy experience would change at all. And why would it? What they do must work for them.

I worked with Sienna (in internet sales) and she tracked down the convertible Eco-Boost Mustang I was looking for at a price that internet research said was fair. Once the purchase process was turned over to a sales rep there were a couple hiccups but everything turned out the way it was supposed to. I've had the Mustang for a year and a half and would work with Mossy Ford Mission Bay again. Other dealers didn't put in the effort that Sienna did to find the car I knew I wanted.

I and my husband went to Mossy ford last Friday and got our new Escape. Everyone at this location were nice and very professional. We particularly dealt with Jake and Shannon. They both are really great and they were willing to help you whatever we have any concerns. I don't recall his name from finance manager (I am not sure which department he was working but he gave us really good advices about finance )he also really nice. They are not just there to selling the goods but really listen what customers needs. We highly recommend this location and thank you again Mossy ford being great for us. And we love our new ride!

Went in to trade in my car. The salesman Chris, tall, skinnier build, Caucasian male was supposed to take care of me. They almost had me sold after I test drove a car. Chris took my car keys and registration and I drove home without them. I let him know the next day he forgot to give them back to me. I sent my brother to go pick them up and they didn't give me back my registration. Why? Maybe because they want to try to convince me to trade in my car or just irresponsible business.
Now I'm having issues selling my car because I don't my current registration form.

The team that helped me buy my new truck, (A 2017, F-150 Lariat) Jennifer Bohn (Internet Sales Manager) Jason Armenta (Sales Team Manager) Diego Gonzalez (Finance Manager) Showed me They really do LOVE their carers and truly do care about me and wants and not my money.

Jennifer: Worked after hours and in a tireless manner to make sure every question i had was answered thoroughly, in detail, and was very up front of the pricing and Mossy's dedication to there customers .

Jason: talked to me about the different packages and options on the truck, When we talked about my budget and wants in the truck, Jason worked diligently to make sure Mossy had applied all the discounts and that the rebates were in order, to be able keep me in the truck and budget i was looking for.

Diego: Went over in detail (clean and clearly) the financing options of the truck and worked meticulously with the banking partners in the Mossy company in order to get me an AutoLoan that was even BETTER then my own credit union's offer!!!

These three people made buying this truck a feel good, fun and an extremely enjoyable process. They have a customer (and family) for life !!

Brought my vehicle three times for a traction control light. First time they reset the light and said the light didn t return after driving the vehicle for 25 miles. To my surprise, the light comes on when I drove the car. Second time, same thing. Third time, they said it was water in one of the sensor hubs. They put silicon after it was cleaned and dried. The light came back again and again, and again.

The problem was diagnosed by a tire shop while getting new tires. It was the right wheel bearing triggering the sensor. Had nothing to do with condensation in the wires or the sensors themselves.

This shows the lack of knowledge and care from corporations vs mom and pops businesses. Ford dealer charged me $160 to misdiagnosed the issue and sent me on the road with an unsafe vehicle. I m highly disappointed and DO NOT recommend people to go to there. Rather, support your local mom and pop businesses.
