This place is THE place to go during the warm season. Good prices, good fun and the owner is really kind and cool. Would absolutely recommend going to enjoy a warm Washington day.

Had lots of fun with the family in double kayaks on Lake Union. Making reservations during Covid isn't the easiest process but happy that they had some availability once I was able to get in contact with someone. Definitely recommend this on a Seattle Summer weekend to get out and enjoy the water.

First time paddle boarding and this was the perfect launch spot. Parking lot and the dock is a very short walk so it was nice for carrying a heavy board. You do have to pay for parking, but rates are fair for the area - $4/hr. Did get a ticket for coming back a little late (20 minutes) so beware, parking enforcement is on top of it. Will be back tho!

I ve kayaked on Lake Union a few times now. Compared to other rental shops, Moss Bay exceeded expectations. The customer service was great staffed full of friendly faces. Located on the south end of Lake Union, it was the perfect place to capture the skyline of downtown Seattle, the Space Needle, and Gas Works (all in an hour).

Other Pros:
Beginner friendly, which was good because I was with Mom (an inexperience kayaker). They provided a large waterproof bag for personal belongings. The price was cheaper: $24/hour for a double ($12/person if split). Fees are prorated 1/4 an hour after the first hour.

Cons:
Expensive paid parking $9.81 for 2 hours.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They also did a good job of enforcing mask usage, which is appreciated. We had a great time out on the water. I wish we had thought to rent kayaks earlier, we could have been doing this all summer!

Came here twice, first time we rented kayaks and second time was SUP. Both time we had a great experience! The price was reasonable, equipments were in good condition, and staff was very friendly and helpful! They provide dry bags free of charge so you don t have to worry about bringing one yourself. I also really appreciate them sanitizing all the equipments thoroughly and enforcing everyone to wear a mask during this time. Highly recommend this place :)

Great place to kayak or get on the paddle board! Just a small tip- This place has the racing type of kayaks which are kind of longer than the usual ones and little more difficult to handle. That being said, great service, great quality gear and a stunning view!

Great experience! Chill vibe and very friendly. COVID measures instituted. Will definitely come back again.
